FME the auction section can feel a little sluggish, especially when the workload is heavy. Even so, the workflows are straightforward to manage and the overall process stays stable. What is particularly unique about FME Platform is that it can work flexibly in the environment of multi-source data integration and is not based on a specific architecture. This feature is especially useful when it comes to implementing an on-premise ETL process that involves a wide variety of systems, each producing information in their own unique way. FME Platform's intuitive drag-and-drop method makes it extremely convenient to develop sophisticated workflows while at the same time providing a high degree of control over the transformation process.

Another important feature that I consider to be very helpful is the possibility of working with data virtually and automatically, as well as FME Platform's very active community. It means that FME can perform such tasks as orchestration of workflows and creation of reusable pipelines, thus helping with improving efficiency. Furthermore, thanks to the large community, finding a solution for a problem becomes significantly easier because it may have already been solved by someone else. One thing that I do not like about FME Platform is how resource-intensive and complicated it can get if the workflow gets too big. Although the graphical interface is very useful, some workflows will quickly become very hard to maintain once they grow larger and more connected. They might also experience performance issues, especially for very intensive transformations or large amounts of data, especially in an on-premise deployment.

The second problem lies in the time, costs, and knowledge required. Even though it uses a low-code system at first glance, mastering its full potential still requires deep knowledge in data structure and transformation processes, making it harder to learn. What I appreciate most about the FME platform is how much it simplifies data integration across different systems.i use it to move data between our accounting software, Excel and a cloud database without having to juggle multiple tools with FME form I can design the workflows I need and flow handles the execution smoothly and efficiently also dragged a d dropped interface also means a lot I don't have to write code and the broad format support saves me from doing manual file conversions. I use FME to pull data from third party APIs and load it into our reporting DB it's been very reliable for scheduled pulls and it also lets me handle transformation in one place which keeps the overall work flow straightforward and the integration with postgre SQL and Web hook trigger works well and in generally it's connected smoothly with other systems and makes work more efficiently I also appreciate being able to test and validate the data at each step before producing the final outcome. I use FME to convert GIS and CAD data and it handles that really well setting up readers and writers is straightforward and I typically add a few transformer for cleanup along the way It supports most of the formats which I worked with including like shapefiles ESRI file Geo database and spatial data from database and the integration with postGis and file geo database has been smooth compared with Older tools we used it has significant reduced the amount of manual work. The FME platform helps connects tools we already use in our day to day work, I’ve integrated it with database systems, CSV uploads and a few web services and transformers are useful and helful for cleaning, reshaping and preparing data.
