## Flyingduck Pricing FAQs

Who is Flyingduck pricing best suited for?

Flyingduck's pricing is best suited for mid-market IT and software engineering firms with 51 to 1,000 employees, based on G2 reviewer demographics. These teams run security scans continuously across multiple repositories and need centralized visibility into SAST, SCA, SBOM, and secret findings without managing separate toolchains. G2 reviews of Flyingduck also show adoption among small development shops prioritizing pre-deployment vulnerability detection. Custom enterprise quoting makes Flyingduck's pricing scalable for organizations with complex multi-project environments. Digital product engineering firms and DevOps-integrated development teams get the clearest value, particularly those embedding security into release pipelines rather than treating it as a post-development checkpoint.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Flyingduck?

Flyingduck does not offer a permanent free tier. According to G2's pricing data for Flyingduck, a free trial is available for teams evaluating the platform before committing. The trial provides access to Flyingduck's core capabilities — SAST, SCA, SBOM, and secret analysis — allowing teams to assess CI/CD integration and vulnerability reporting firsthand. Flyingduck's paid plans are structured around custom enterprise quotes, meaning pricing scales to organizational needs rather than fixed tiers. G2 reviewers note that the full licensed version supports continuous daily or weekly scanning across all project repositories, a usage pattern that implies the paid plan removes scan frequency or project-count restrictions present during trial.

Is Flyingduck considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers rate Flyingduck a perfect 5.0/5 across all reviewed segments, signaling strong cost-to-value satisfaction. Mid-market IT and services teams highlight concrete returns: fewer last-minute security fixes, proactive vulnerability detection across multiple codebases, and smooth CI/CD integration requiring minimal intervention. G2 reviews of Flyingduck cite SBOM, SCA, SAST, and secret analysis as high-impact capabilities that would otherwise require multiple separate tools. The only functional gap noted is missing multi-cloud guardrail support. No reviewer raises pricing concerns or mentions cost as a drawback, suggesting Flyingduck's pricing aligns well with the value delivered for security-focused development teams.
