Flutter is one of the best cross-platform technologies available today. It allows us to build scalable apps that perform very close to native, with smooth animations and a consistent UI across both Android and iOS. The single shared codebase dramatically reduces delivery time, since we no longer have to write and maintain two separate native apps. This is also a big win for clients because they do not need to allocate two separate teams or resources for Android and iOS development. The widget-based architecture is powerful and flexible, hot reload makes development very fast, and the growing package ecosystem covers almost every common need. App sizes can be larger than equivalent native apps. Some platform-specific features still require writing native code or relying on community plugins of varying quality. Dart is a less common language so new team members sometimes have a small ramp-up. These are minor trade-offs compared to the productivity gains and the value of a shared codebase. Before adopting Flutter, we needed dedicated native developers for each platform, which doubled development effort, increased bugs, and slowed down feature delivery. With Flutter, a single team can deliver to both platforms from one codebase, which cuts our delivery time significantly. Clients also benefit because they no longer need to fund two parallel teams. The near-native performance and consistent UI mean we do not compromise on quality, and the ability to scale apps from MVPs to production-grade products gives us confidence for any project size. There was a project update from the old version to the new version, and the old package was removed from the repository. It’s very tough to find the old package now. Easy to learn, fast to develop. Flutter enables you to develop applications for multiple platforms using a single codebase, which is a significant benefit for my company since we depend on rapid launches across multiple platforms. Another area where Flutter truly stands out is UI consistency; we appreciate that our app maintains the same appearance on every platform. Flutter is the best framework when it comes to cross platform development for apps. It doubles down on productivity as with its hot reload we can rapidly check if something works or not, very easy to learn and it becomes intuitive to implement too! Though flutter is a very good cross platform it still has a long way to go to come near native platform development be it kotlin or swift they're performance wise obliterating flutter at the moment but its a long time before flutter comes through. What problems is Flutter solving and how is that benefiting you? especially in the case if start ups or when you're trying to build a proof of concept, its fairly intuitive and vvvv fast to build out your solution and test it out on a cross-platform device be it either android or ios its all good it works for both. Now coming to the case if development time it almost halves it don't go by say on the quantifiable measure but fairly takes down your dev time and also in addition to that in the future when you make a change you only got to make it once, rather in other cases you got to do it twice for two different platforms.
