## About Flow
Flow is an all-in-one tool that helps you coordinate all of your team’s work. It brings together your tasks, projects, timelines, files, and conversations, and integrates with your favorite tools, to help you achieve more together. Flow is available on web, desktop, ios and android. With over 2 million projects and 18 million tasks completed to date, the world's most innovative companies trust Flow to help them to get more done. Companies like TED, Shopify, Bumble, RedBull and thousands more. Teams choose Flow when spreadsheets, whiteboards and sticky notes aren’t enough, but task management apps like Todoist and Trello are too lean, and project management tools like Wrike, JIRA and Asana are overkill.

## Flow Reviews
 ### 1. Customizable Workflow Automation That Fits Aerospace DIN Compliance, But ERP Integration Holds It Back

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alvi N. | Senior Industrial Engineering Specialist, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Flow’s no-code custom automation builder is its biggest advantage for our precision aerospace production. I can design unique approval sequences for material receiving, CNC production scheduling, quality hold sign-offs and machine maintenance tickets without IT support. All shop-floor steps live in one unified platform, standardizing work across day and night shifts and generating immutable traceability logs aligned with DIN and aerospace manufacturing standards. These consistent digital records drastically cut the time we spend prepping for external quality audits and reduce unplanned line downtime caused by missed process follow-ups.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

There is no native two-way sync with our SAP ERP, so our production planners manually exchange CSV files twice each shift. This repetitive work eats into engineering time and frequently creates mismatched material or order data that we must troubleshoot line by line. There are no pre-built report templates formatted for DIN or AS9100 audits, meaning I rebuild traceability report layouts from scratch for every inspection cycle. The platform’s dashboards also suffer severe lag during peak operating hours when we pull months of historical component tracking data.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Flow, we managed production tracking with disjointed Excel spreadsheets and a basic task tool that could not enforce standardized compliance logging. Fragmented records created audit vulnerabilities and slow responses to machine malfunctions. Flow consolidates all operational workflows digitally, cuts manual data entry mistakes, formalizes every quality and production step, and delivers complete component traceability to streamline official aviation authority audits.

 ### 2. Manage your workforce and workload with Flow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suyash M. | Operations Head at MS PRIDE ODISHA FEMININE PRODUCTS ( LOVISSA ), Health, Wellness and Fitness, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Flow?**

The most helpful features about it are:

1. Flow is a great software to manage projects and tasks. It brings together your projects, tasks, and timelines and integrates you with your favourite tools, to help you achieve more tasks.

2. There is a need for privacy during our work and in Flow I can control the privacy of any project to make it public to your whole team or private and invite only.

3. I love customizing the interface of the tasks and projects and in Flow you can customise your projects by customising the appearance of the project by picking the perfect colour and icon for it.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

The least helpful features about it are:

1. In Flow it is too difficult to track down time and is not capable of handling complex project management with a team and other third party contractors.

2. In Flow you can’t delete your account, and can only deactivate it. You can’t delete the information you have provided. So there is a lack of account deletion feature

3. In Flow the syncing of web with app version is quite slow, which makes it quite difficult to operate and it is annoying.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flow is a software to manage projects and tasks. It brings together your projects, tasks, and timelines and integrates you with your favourite tools, to help you achieve more. What I like the most is there is a powerful sorting and filtering of task list and project boards where you can find exactly what you are looking for.

 ### 3. Easy-to-use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyanka P. | Freelance Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Flow is one of the best platform if you love to create unique posts for social handles. It provides multiple features to edit photos and videos in different styles. This platform all provides some in-built templates to create high-quality projects easily.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

There are many features that I find exciting enough to use, but those are available in premium versions. Its free features also you to create unique projects though; it would have been better if some premium features were allowed to use for free.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flow is brilliant platform to create multiple projects with images and videos. You can create it for youtube, instagram, or other platforms.

 ### 4. Flow - Review

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Flow?**

The overall look and feel of this website is great. It's easy to use and understand. This has really helped to manage time, tasks, projects. It was easily intergrated into our teams workflows without much problems. Overall it has helped to save time and effort with its many features like task management and project timelines

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Some of the features are bit overwhelming, a better on boarding process and tutorials would help a lot.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

makes collaboration easy among teams, makes tracking tasks and projects easier and improves prodiuctivity.

 ### 5. Flow: A Stunning Task-Organization Program With A Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Titus A. | Videographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Flow has a very attractive user interface that makes navigating the app an aesthetically pleasing experience. Tasks can be organized into several helpful categories and styles from list views to kanban style organization systems. Communicating with team members is easy, whether inside the tasks themselves or in private messages.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

The biggest issue with Flow is that, before you become accustomed to its interface, you may be clicking on various windows and boxes without knowing which part of the application you are interacting with. In addition, the notifications and comment system, while responsive, at times can be tricky to read and understand exactly which tasks are currently needing to be done.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

If you need a task management solution if you find yourself working without one, Flow will offer you a program to learn within your company team.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Flow, our team keeps progress on our various objectives in one spot that every team member can see and interact with. Moving our task management from scattered emails to an integrated list of tasks helps save time and move projects forward.

 ### 6. Best ever simple and effective project management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajish A. | Service Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Flow?**

It helps to manage my daily tasks by prioritizing multiple to-do lists. It helps to understand the methodology which we use in project management. It is the best customizable project management tool which is currently available in online.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

I can not find any issues till now but this doesn't solve entire spectrum of project management problems. I faced veey occasional technical issues while using the software.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It hels to bring all my projects and timelines together in a single platform where I can organise my project management. I can monitor my team productivity which is really handy.

 ### 7. One of the best task and project management systems out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dustin R. | Art director , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Flow?**

It's hard to pick just one thing that I like best about Flow. From its ease of use, UI customizability, to even the feedback and updates from their dev team. Task deligation is as easy as a click of a button and you can get notified in a variety of ways. They have both a website and app, with notifications sent via growl and/or email. Its never been down and has only gotten better over the years.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

If I had to choose one thing, it would definitely be their mobile app. It's slow, hard to navigate through (especially compared to their amazing web app), and sometimes the attachments (mp4s in particular) don't work at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

With all Flow has to offer, it may seem daunting at first, but you really can't go wrong. You're able to view all of your work using task lists, kanban, and timeline calendar views. You can create private tasks for yourself in addition to your team, AND see everything assigned to you and others.

Also, its free to try! No loss if you don't like it :)

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Flow throughout our company to assign and delegate tasks. With multiple teams in different countries, its easy for everyone to use and get their assignments fast and without issue. Once they finish, they can tag other team members to review, or assign it to the project manager to close. But its more than just a task manager, it also has a chat system, timeline viewer, checklist, and kanban board. No matter how your used to working, Flow seems to have a version for you!

 ### 8. Very Good Application

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah M. | Branding Administration, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Flow?**

I like how you have the option to get reminders from the application as well as email reminders. It is a straightforward way to remind yourself of tasks and share those tasks with people you work with. It allows for updates that give both you and the people you are working with an easy place to update each other. So far it has been the best way to get all the work needed done on time and with notes updated for everyone to be able to see.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

I have not found anything that I do not like currently. I have used it for three years now and still don't think there is anything wrong with it. Maybe just the way the application puts the information when I make it smaller. I am someone who prefers to work with smaller applications on my screens so I can work with all the other ones together, usually to proof read or to ensure I have got everything correct on my two screens being the flow application and the application where I need to get the project done.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an organization, we use flow for projects and follow-ups. I use it as well for reminders as I can easily forget those I've written down. It's amazing especially now with covid where we do not have the same amount of time as we had before to have continuous face to face meetings.

 ### 9. Flow : Collaborating with team and client in one place.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

Flow helps us connect with the client and solve its problems and helps to save time and effort from both ends.

 ### 17. Still the best designed platform around

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary K. | Founder and President, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Flow is constantly under development, is fast, and is full of tiny details that show how much thought the developers put into it. Each visual iteration is more gorgeous than the next, and it's extremely rare that I struggle to find what I need or fight with the software. Flow is made by some of the best UI folks in the world for a reason.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

The Projects section in their newest design feels a little constrained. I can see the potential for a Kanban-style overview, but miss being able to quickly jump around in the sidebar when organizing multiple projects at once. Further, the Timelines and Calendar features are accessible both in their own main heading and in a separate section called Agenda under tasks. The workflow here feels convoluted and left over from the last version.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Be clear about what your workflow is going to be and how that might fight into Flow. It can actually do a lot under the hood, but that isn't going to seem obvious (generally a good thing), and you'll have to know up front how you want to leverage its features. For instance, Gantt planning isn't properly there, but Timelines probably suffices for most.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mostly use Flow for personal projects, and it's always been a reliable go-to for that purpose, even if you do miss out on the team features. It keeps me organized and can handle everything I'll ever need to track.

 ### 18. Good idea, poorly executed

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen H. | Inbound Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

The visual design, especially the timeline, workload, and catch up view, are beautiful stunning and very easy to understand. That's what actually drew me to Flow in the first place. I loved how easy everything was to see and understand. Also the support team is very helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

I'm not a developer, but there are some under the hood issues that are causing major issues:
- App is unusable. Nothing syncs and it frequently crashes doing basic things (like marking tasks complete)
- Lacking in seemingly basic features that have been requested by the community for years (yes, years)
- Markdown formatting only in descriptions (supposed to be changing but no timeline given)
- Can't move tasks between teams
- No custom fields
- There's a slack integration but it has a steep learning curve (all /command based, nothing visual like Asana)

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Use Asana, Roadmap, or ClickUp. If they get some of these kinks worked out then maybe it'll be worth your time.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were attempting to really streamline and accelerate our project management.

 ### 19. Great software ideal for managing team work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna Karina H. | Software Developer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

I like it because it allows you to track the progress of business projects and plan ahead. Your user panel is very interactive and modern and very easy to use, it can be used to plan any type of project, that is, it does not matter in which area Focus your company, and the best thing is that it always keeps you up to date with your to-do list.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Unlike other software that limits the use of the company's approach, Flow has no limits as to the type of company or professional that uses it, so we have not found anything that we dislike works very well and is extremely flexible for work teams.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Flow is a very simple and effective software so I recommend it for the management of any type of business project that is taking place, if you want to make sure of its effectiveness go to your free 15-day trial and you can evaluate how well it works and how improve teamwork

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Flow we can manage our projects in a very simple and organized way because it always keeps us up to date with what we have advanced and what we have to do, who are busy and who do not stop being able to assign tasks to those users and thus be able to advance a lot faster in the development of our applications and the best thing is that it contains time lines that allow us to visualize the tasks and deadlines of the same and in case of having any change we will all be informed so there is nothing that we can go unnoticed .

 ### 20. Project management

 ### 21. Flow : effective tool for labor collaboration and task management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine A. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

I like it because it goes beyond a simple ideal tool for the management of tasks or business projects since it allows labor collaboration, it is very easy and intuitive, users can upload or download files, as well as carry out assignments of projects to a team or individual and keep track of how advanced each of them is and the best thing is that if you need to keep someone out of the team updated on a particular project, you can assign them a notification status in which they can be seen only for this.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

It is recommended that each user make copies of their Flow account since if there is any failure in the platform they will have a backup of the records of their activities.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Flow is so simple but very useful to manage all types of projects, which is why I recommend it to increase the group work flow.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software is very suitable for our company because it allows us to take a better organization on the projects or tasks to which we must prioritize them because their deliveries are short term, so we do not get involved with any client and at the same time we keep our data safe and secure. each client informed about the work of our team what is important since it creates confidence and tranquility in both parties.

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Love the organization aspect of Flow, where multiple users can collaborate on projects, update each other, and push a project to its goal all in one product.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Specifically, I do hate that once I complete a task and clear it out, I lose the information on where it previously lived.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have replaced multiple products with Flow, including Trello and JIRA. Collaboration among teams has improved with Flow.

 ### 25. Awesome tool for project managers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nic W. | Management Analyst , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

I love how intuitive the software is. This is my go to tool to help me with managing projects across departments. This helps me organize work, manage deadlines, and communicate to stakeholders. All of this is done in an attractive and easy to use format.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

I would like to see greater integrating with outside software. The software, like any, can be a difficult culture change to adopt.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

I am using flow on my own. This is not an organization wide effort. That would be much more beneficial.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Breaking down barriers within the organization and managing my projects more efficiently.

 ### 26. Elle's Review of Flow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Flow is a great app that allows you to manage multiple projects, teams and tasks efficiently . It is super user friendly and offers a variety of solutions.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

So far there isn't anything that im dissatisfied with. The app is pretty straight forward .

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Perfect is you have issues with staff focuxing on their own individual tasks

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, productivity, efficiency , staff understanding their roles and responsibilities individually.

 ### 27. Recently updated with a new look and better UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam M. | Business Development Executive, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Flow was recently updated, it now has easy to select options to switch between a list view, kanban and calendar modes. The project drag+drop interface has been much improved over their previous offering. All the issues I had with it (and reasons I previously went with Leankit) have more or less disappeared. Huzzah!

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

It's much more intuitive than it used to be but the interface could be smoother still - some of the animations are lacking. Still no support for sprints!! There is a small issue with printing out weekly task reports: On the interface they actually highlight things according to due date/priority. Sadly this doesn't come out when you print!! Arg!

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

It does lack just a few features such as sprint support, easy resource allocation, timings for tasks. But having spoken to their support they're already looking at implementing these. Seeing how huge the UI update is, I can understand if they're flagging but it means there is going to be a delay before they've fully implemented these much requested features. Thankfully, they were not on our critical requirement list and Flow is cheaper than the alternative we considered (JIRA)

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management was previously handled by leankit, we'd looked at Atlassians JIRA but this was more cost effective.

 ### 28. Don't go with the Flow

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam H. | Reporter | Editorial Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

It allows me to stay updated with cross-departmental projects by assigning tasks to team members that I don't always interact with

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Once the task is set, the task-editing process can be quite the hassle, especially when assigning subscribers and subtasks to certain people. Many save-then-reopen-and-reedit steps are required.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

This tool may help bring people on the same page and may help users focus on a timeline, but overall, I believe there are many slight tweaks required for the user experience to be where it needs to.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flow allows me to wrangle people from many different departments to focus on one task.

 ### 29. Easy Task Management System

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

The ability to have one main project with numerous subtasks and being able to easily assign the task to a user and date.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Flow recently had an update and the project section became a little more difficult to navigate and the exporting of tasks was also more hidden and not available at all levels of projects.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Don't over complicate the project and to be sure all users understand the importance of a task/project manager.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to clearly see due dates and everyone's tasks with the ability to chat within and @ members in regards to specific tasks. Also, being able to upload any specific assets to a task and being able to look at the history and easily find those assets per project.

 ### 30. Robust feature set and love the new redesign

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan U. | Product Designer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Easily customizable interface, expansive search and sorting, interface is super easy to navigate, with a well structured IA. Easy tagging and commenting is great. Looking forward to the project timeline feature, which will be a game changer for visualizing project management, processes and deadlines

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

The dragging feature is not very responsive and I frequently have trouble reorganizing tasks by dragging, often accidentally dropping sub tasks in the wrong place. Notifications are not tailored enough to filter out what’s truly important and I often lose track of the notes I need to read within my catch-up feed.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Highly recommend as a robust and flexible project management tool that can accommodate many different workflows and team needs. Great for keeping track of project timelines and assigning responsibility for deliverables.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flow has been invaluable to keeping track of project flows, notifyig my team members regarding available deliverables, and having clear views of project roadmaps, upcoming features, and deadlines. I rely heavily on Flow to prioritize my design work on a daily basis and stay organized as far as timelines and outstanding tasks.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Very easy to delegate tasks and stay updated with what coworkers are doing. Also, the terrific GUI makes figuring out what I need to do simple, both in terms of big picture and details.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Without training some aspects of UI can be confusing, namely how to use discussions and using multiple tabs.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Train team on how to use before rolling out.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly for division of labor and setting up teams in the marketing department. It's more or less an alternative to daily meetings, email chains, and documents.

 ### 36. Great Resource for Multiple Users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

This program is easy to use and works well with multiple users. Late task notifications help keep your team on track and while dates can be changed they are trackable, giving a realistic idea of progress.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Font options are limited as we use product to cut and paste into address labels.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mailroom tasks - several people can work on variety of tasks using the same program

 ### 37. Switched to Flow from Basecamp, so far so good

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meaghan K. | Senior Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2017

**What do you like best about Flow?**

The biggest thing that brought us to Flow is the hierarchy of tasks. We love how you can have an overarching task and then break it down further by subtasks. Also love the Private tasks and the Catch Up features.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

-When you click to Flow through an email notification, it opens the web version vs the app. Not sure if there's a way to change this?
-We've had a few bugs w/ email notifications...where people who are subscribed do not receive them
-Don't think the Kanban UI is very easy to view/use, but you have the option of List view so it's not a problem

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Definitely try out the trial, and make sure everyone's email notifications are working properly.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management, deadline management, and internal communication.

 ### 38. A Team Communicator Tool for Everyone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phill P. | Head of Customer Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Very simple to use and seems to have the balance of simplicity and functionality. Great to have a central dashboard with content of all project. I've used tools such as trello but this goes one step further.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

The user interface can be a little confusing with comments, change logs and sub tasks but not anything that would put me off.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central resource tool between the team for project and conversations.

 ### 40. Loved the Flow!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

I loved the organization of tasks in Flow. It made everything so easy to follow and keep up with different projects at the same time. I really enjoyed Flow!

Wasn't too much I didn't like about Flow. Very fun, and easy to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Use Flow for all projects! We love it!

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flow provides and easy way to stay in touch and on top of tasks for your team. I love it!

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Due dates, assignability of tasks, multiple channels, look and feel, links with slack for focus mode

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Dislike that each channel requires you to slide horizontally to see each list of tasks, would prefer different design

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To-do lists, sprint tracking, billing tasks, sales resources, project management, operations

 ### 42. Advanced team management tool

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martino B. | iOS Engineer, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2017

**What do you like best about Flow?**

This is a full feature tool, you can make and assign task, create subtask, tag the task and add date limit to the task. You have the full control of your team.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Most of the app are web based and they are not so reliable so sometime you need to restart it or found a workaround. By the way the tool is very complex so the apps are too and it's not easy to make an app so complex so strong.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting thins done and how. We need to deliver things at specific day so I assign task to specific people and gain my target.

 ### 43. Great collaborative tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Fast, reliable collaborative tool that can be access anywhere. It was made easier with team sharing and multiple team sharing function.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

It takes a while to get used to the functions and capabilities of the software.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

I have to say, it has better functions and accessibility than famous products such as SharePoint etc. In time, Flow can become the go-to collaborative software for most organization.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration with multiple team members and across organization as a whole.

 ### 44. LOVE Flow - you don't know you need it until you have it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Being able to set up processes that trigger each other based on my emails.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Ease of use, took me a long time to figure everything out

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management is wonderful, I don't have to stop what I am doing to process each email. It just does it itself.

 ### 45. A great project management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chloe S. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2017

**What do you like best about Flow?**

I've worked with a lot of project management apps and tools (Trello, Basecamp, etc..) but Flow tops them all for it's simplicity yet robust functionality. It's easy to understand and gets things done.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

There are still a few bugs and glitches, in particular, it's very difficult to copy and paste out of task description. Also, I would like to see more functionality in duplicating sections, not just projects, for recurring projects that contain more than one task.

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Flow is great because it's versatile. If you're a Trello fan, it also allows you to create Kahban boards that are very similar. It does integrate with Slack and Google Calendar, but probably doesn't have as many integrations as other project management tools. We use this tool with 20-30 people and it works very well. You do have to commit to using it exclusively for project assignment (as opposed to e-mail) in order to get the full benefit out of this software. I don't know if there is a free trial, but I would definitely encourage you to try a demo with the Flow staff to see if this would meet your company's requirements.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main business problem is coordinating hundreds of marketing tasks and projects happening weekly across multiple brand and campaigns. Flow has allowed us to keep everything organized, and on time, while helping to gauge bandwidth to allocate projects in an effective and efficient manner.

 ### 46. Efficient with some glitches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin D. | Photographer & Manager of Farmington Hills Branch, Photography, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Flow is fairly user friendly and speeds up my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

The template building is hard to work with.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps our data matching and ordering work so much more quickly!

 ### 47. Great task management tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2017

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Love that you can assign and see all tasks clearly. You can also switch between teams, and see tasks laid out in list or calendar form.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Wish the iPhone app was better. It glitches from time to time. Oftentimes old tasks show up, instead of current ones, in the app. Also, sometimes it doesn't save when you try to create new tasks in the app.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps my team organized, while allowing me to delegate and organize activities - on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.

 ### 48. Flow - A more advanced Asana application

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2017

**What do you like best about Flow?**

I really like the task assignment. This reminds me of a combination of Asana and Salesforce. I would highly recommend. I am still newer to this product but definitely really like the layout and the resources available!

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

I don't know enough yet to have any complaints. I really think it is an improvement when compared to other services like Asana.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with organizational practices in the workplace tremendously.

 ### 49. Flow is quite user-friendly. Its simple and uncluttered design is refreshing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2017

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Flow is entirely web-based software, compatible with any modern browser on both Mac and PC computers. Very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

Although it's user friendly...I don't think it will work out for me. Flow does not offer higher-level project management tools (like reporting charts or budgeting features).

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Very user friendly at a great base level for their pricing.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Limited mobile apps... price rises pretty astoundingly between levels

 ### 50. Simple, Beautiful Task Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick W. | Creative Director + Strategist, UX/UI/Experience Designer, Senior Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2016

**What do you like best about Flow?**

Flow is the first (and only) task management application that I've ever had teams actually use (and like). It's extremely simple, well-organized and packs just enough punch to get the job done without bloat or a visually distracting interface.

It works on all platforms, has great support and is always improving.

**What do you dislike about Flow?**

It would be neat to be able to map tasks/activities visually (Gantt).

**Recommendations to others considering Flow:**

Use it. It's seriously great.

It's worth thinking about where it will fit in with your existing tools, however. Flow supports file uploads and often it's very helpful to have files associated with comments/tasks. But, if you choose to do this, make sure it's agreed upon amongst the team. Without that policy in place, you'll have some files in Flow, some in Dropbox, some in Drive, etc.

**What problems is Flow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flow makes it easy to delegate tasks to anyone and track their progress over time. For example, I can assign a task to Tom (UX Designer). He can chime in and then delegate the task to Sarah (Visual Designer). She can chime in and delegate it to Caitlin (Information Architect). All of this happens in the same thread and all comments/files/date changes/etc. are very easy to follow.

Flow is the best tool I've found to see who's working on what, when it will be done and what's happening with it at any given moment.
