Other DevOps tools requires lots of configuration as well as training to get started but on the other hand Flosum can be setup using simple point and clicks. Perfect solution to sync your sandboxes. In Salesforce we basically have to deploy all the dependent components to the next firm and delivery chain of the next application but Flosum has a different story, coz in Flosum, the developers are able to apply the less amount of changes. Well, this Time Booster application doesn't let you waste your valuable time and makes it sure that the least amount of code is deployed. It automatically edits everything for you, whether its Profiles, Permission Sets or various settings. Basically, whatever time is costed during the Deployment Process, Flosum just helps to reduce it to the optimum. See we all know that If we the process is failed of the deployment process we all have to start it from the scratch, and the amount of time it takes to do the whole deployment is just crazy, but with Flosum the whole cycle can be integrated and we can prevent all this time and effort from getting wasted with the exceptional quality of code. We had to do some digging, ask our AE to get documentations to get everything set up and see how it is used. Training materials for newer devs would be useful too. **Recommendations to others considering Flosum:** If you are a salesforce dev, definitely give this a shot. The support is great, you'll learn it quick, and fall in love with it even faster! Get started with the trial version, they prodivde your own org to set it up with. **What problems is Flosum solving and how is that benefiting you?** Some of the problems we were facing was working with the team in deployment, version control, and the learning curve of other tools. Especially since some of devs were junior/admins transitioning in the dev role, we needed something that was a bit more intuitive or something they are more used to. The fact that this product is Salesforce native, made it easier for our admins to learn and user it even quicker. ### 43. It works with the sandboxes so your production environments are not at direct risk. 8. There is no learning curve at all if you familiar with Salesforce then you are good to go. 9. When in need, you can always reach out to their support desk. Their staff is really supportive. 10. Other than it is really easy to implement and setup, the user experience is also great. Everyone who likes and is familiar with Salesforce Lightning interface will definitely like this. Moving back and forth between different tools is no longer required. Everything from code review, version control, merging, deployment etc is in one place. It also gives clear information in a form of dashboard for the information of the deployment. **What do you dislike about Flosum?** Nothing major. As a team, it is very important that we act synchronously and be aware of updates. We use jira, agile accelartor and flosum for this. It's amazing that Flosum supports this agile accelator and Jira. The most usefull futures for your team and project lifecycle: - Allows users to visualize the differences between any orgs and easily merge the changes. - XML formatting comparison is very useful.
