"FloQast Streamlines Month-End Close with Intuitive Automation and Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about FloQast?

What I like best about FloQast is how it centralizes and automates the month-end close process. The checklists, task tracking, and automated reconciliations make it easy to see exactly where we are in the close at any time. It’s intuitive, collaborative, and eliminates the chaos of managing the close through spreadsheets and emails. The visibility it gives our leadership team is a huge bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

While FloQast is an excellent tool overall, the initial setup and integration process can be time-consuming, especially for larger or more complex accounting environments. Customizing workflows to fit unique internal processes sometimes requires extra support from their implementation team. Additionally, certain reporting or analytics features could be more flexible for deeper insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Audit Trails and Task Management, Dashboard Could Be More Flexible"
4.5/5
What do you like best about FloQast?

This tool is excellent for demonstrating review sign-off to auditors. It also makes it simple to share work progress with others, and adding new tasks is straightforward. I also like the fact that many things are self-explanatory and it does not require trainings to learn about the product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

I would like the dashboard to provide an overview or progress tracking for a filtered group of people. While it's simple to view progress across the entire department, this setup doesn't work well for monitoring my team's or my own progress. Additionally, I wish there was an option to attach supporting documents, such as analyses, to all sign-offs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Accountability and Storage, But Needs Smoother Bulk Actions"
5/5
What do you like best about FloQast?

I use FloQast every day and really appreciate its storage features, as well as how it encourages accountability by assigning tasks to individuals. I also value that it acts as a sort of playbook for managing a client's work. If a quick transition were needed, anyone new to the role would find it much easier to understand the client's requirements. On the rare occasions I've needed support, the assistance has been prompt and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

It's a little clunky and a pain when you have to mass change settings. I also wish there was a way to see every file uploaded in a single place, searchable by date range. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Team Coordination and Organization with FloQast"
5/5
What do you like best about FloQast?

What I like most about FloQast is how easy it makes it to coordinate team tasks and keep everything organized. It provides great visibility into progress and ensures everyone knows what to do and when, which makes collaboration much more efficient Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

What I don’t like about FloQast is that we need an administrator to make any changes. I would like to have more control over my own tasks. For example, I often have a single task in FloQast that actually involves completing five different steps. It would be great to create my own ad-hoc subtasks within FloQast to track those steps — ones that I can edit or manage myself without changing the main team task Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps Month-End Close on Track—Seamless Organization"
4.5/5
What do you like best about FloQast?

I use FloQast to track month-end close activities and manage reconciliations. FloQast helps both me and my team stay organized and on schedule. Whenever I want to check the progress of our month-end close processes, I simply log in and can immediately see which tasks are still outstanding. We use Floqast on a monthly basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

I honestly have no complaints about FloQast. It meets our business needs effectively. The only minor issue I occasionally encounter is when an Excel spreadsheet is uploaded and converted into a Google Doc; sometimes, the formula connections are lost in the process. However, I believe this is more of a Google Doc issue rather than a problem with FloQast itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Task Tracking and Powerful Reconciliation Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about FloQast?

I appreciate being able to keep track of everything on a monthly basis - Completed and what task are delayed, Who is doing it. The reconciliation feature, along with the automatic reconciliation, is particularly useful for large data set. I also like how adaptable the platform is and how well it integrates with Google Docs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

Sometimes it crashes and I loose all my data and have start the process from very beginning. I also don't like how after i check the completion if someone else touches my google doc, the complete checkmark would be automatically removed with notifying me and also it should lock in once the file is done. "FloQast Keeps Me Organized and On Track with Timely Reminders"
5/5
What do you like best about FloQast?

I really appreciate how FloQast helps me stay organized by keeping track of all the tasks I need to complete and sending reminders that ensure I meet my deadlines. It's especially helpful to receive notifications for tasks that occur less frequently, such as annual ones, which could easily be overlooked. As someone responsible for many account reconciliations, some of which are also posted to by others, I find it very useful to get alerts when an account goes out of balance. Before using FloQast, I might not have noticed these issues until the next month's reconciliation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

I realize this might be a minor point, and I’m sure it’s something that’s already being addressed, but as a user of Transform, I would really appreciate having an integration with Netsuite. It would be great to pull data directly into the steps, instead of having to reference a file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Provides Awesome Features that Accountants Need!"
5/5
What do you like best about FloQast?

FloQast has significantly enhanced the closing process for both me and my team. It provides valuable metrics that help us monitor our progress during the close, and it streamlines reconciliations by connecting account balances directly from our reconciliations to FloQast. What I appreciate most is the ability to easily see whether I am ahead of or behind schedule, which makes managing deadlines much more straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

While I have very few complaints about FloQast, there are some nuances and aspects that require workarounds to make the software fit my needs. For example, I can't easily generate a list or report of entries that have been approved but not yet posted. To address this, we've been using the notes section to run reports on these entries, and we've also considered using tags as an alternative solution. Another area that presents more of a knowledge gap for me is the use of the remind features in FloQast. I believe this feature has a bit of a learning curve, but it could be a valuable automation tool for certain close processes. Although I haven't fully explored this tool, I did spend about 10 to 15 minutes once trying it out and realized it would take some time to learn or to identify practical use cases. More training and standard operating procedures around this feature would be helpful. Another downside would be not being able to add subtasks or mark an entry partially complete. For example, for weekly entries it would be nice to mark those 25% complete if 1 out of 4 entries are completed. This could help reduce some volume of checklist items in FloQast. "From Chaos to Control: Closing Made Simple.......Smooth Sailing Through the Close Process"
5/5
What do you like best about FloQast?

FloQast is an excellent platform for managing the month-end close process efficiently. I really like how it centralizes all close activities in one place — from tracking tasks and assigning them to team members, to performing variance analysis and reviewing journal entries. The ability to collaborate seamlessly across the accounting team improves visibility and accountability throughout the close process. Additionally, FloQast’s integration with NetSuite (and other ERP systems) makes data flow smoother and reduces manual work, helping ensure accuracy and timeliness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FloQast?

The only thing I dislike about FloQast is that, at first, it can feel a bit cumbersome to navigate through the different options. However, after using it for about a week, it becomes very intuitive and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
