The filters also make it easier to narrow down what you are looking for. Implementation was easy for our company, and we felt supported along the way. The reconciliations being housed in Excel (where we normally work anyways) has made our reconciliation process so much smoother, and reduced down our close from 10 to 8 days. FloQast also continues to provide support after implementation, and will follow up quarterly to review what is working/vs not, and provide extra info on how to improve our experience. I wish we had switched over from Blackline sooner! They also continously update their features, which is great. **What do you dislike about FloQast?** I wish we were able to have a setting where files are opened in the Excel Desktop application when we click on the reconciliation links, rather than the online one-drive browser. While we can acecss them directly in our one drive, sometimes it's easier to click on the link in the reconciliation instead. **What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having all tasks in one place, and ability to roll forward the tasks each month. It has streamlined the process and made it easier to view how far along the close we are. ### 4. For example, we need to pay extra for using more than 2 auto amortization calculations. I also wish they offered a payment option of simply putting a monthly charge on a credit card insdtead of an annual payment. **What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Was extremely helpful in moving our paper close process to a pure online solution. ### 5. It seamlessly integrates with our existing workflow and enables us to monitor the completion status, identify the bottlenecks, and determine the optimal time for a soft close to generate financial statements. It also helps us to prioritize tasks and automate reminders, reducing the need for manual follow-ups and repetitive requests. We use FloQast on a daily basis and rely on it as the main source of information for our weekly meetings, where we discuss the week’s priorities and potential risks. FloQast is user-friendly and easy to implement, requiring minimal training and setup time. It also allows us to organize and reconcile our month-end working papers more efficiently and accurately. **What do you dislike about FloQast?** The autorec feature for bank recs isn't as helpful as we had hoped. It relies on separate imports of of the bank uploads and the GL details with tweaking required to import properly. With accounts in multiple banks in two countries, it makes it a cumbersome process. . It makes more sense to do the reconciliation in Sage Intacct and then uploading the data to see the official sign-off for the audit trail, but that's still a lot of effort just fulfill that audit request. **What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was difficult to answer the question "where are we at with month end" prior to FloQast. Now we can clearly see exactly what has been done, what is still outstanding, and where we can improve our processes to prevent bottlenecks. We've been able to see that even after one month of using FloQast, we have already started to shorten the number of days it takes to close. ### 7. I also really enjoy the reconciliation feature because it helps me to keep track of outstanding items or things that may need to be written off/handled by a certain time period. Additionally, the Remind feature helps to ensure that I never miss collection of documentation and entries are submitted more timely. **What do you dislike about FloQast?** There are small bugs when it comes to setting filters or saving documents, but otherwise, I thoroughly enjoy the platform and it has greatly helped me to organize my tasks daily, weekly, monthkly and annually. **What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping track of monthly tasks and account variances. A great benefit to this is that these processes are formalized in a way that if we experience staff change the tasks assigned to them are still visible and can be reassigned. We also now have a central place to store closing documents that can be viewed or updated as needed. I use FloQast several times per week. On critical items like AR and Cash, if an item gets backdated or reversed FloQast notifies me that a balance has changed and I can react more quickly to those changing items. Implementation was a breeze and required a few web meetings and an easy setup with our chart of accounts. The learning academy and help guides are super helpful. More so than other systems we are using and hopefully others take note to make it easier to use and fun like what is provided by FloQast. The staff I have dealt with at FloQast has been knowledgable, helpful, and certainly seemed genuinely interested in making sure my organization is using the product in a way that helps us. **What do you dislike about FloQast?** I have been using FloQast since June 2023, I haven't found something I would say I dislike about FloQast. It has met or exceeded all of my expectations. **What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our primary reason for seeking FloQast was to have a central place to document closing activity due to staff changes.
