These are a few things I like about FloQast: - Checklist feature where the due dates are only based on working days, ensuring the due date to be more accurate. - ReMind feature to automatically send out the request for reports / vendor estimates. - Most of the features on Floqast portal is user friendly, and very easy to use and implement. - Customer support was a great help, when there are ReMind issues throughout my usage. What do you dislike about FloQast? - Variance Analysis - allowing each individuals team member to create their own flux, creating multiple version of templates, and need to open each version to ensure I am using the correct one. It will be great if the creation of analysis is restricted to 1-2 admin - Dashboard - as part of Sept-2025 close, these feature did not show up on my dashboard - reconciliation, notes, analytics, variance analysis. Only when I click on the email notification on variance analysis, then the feature pop-up. Not sure what happen, but it did not create a huge burden/issues for me due to email reminder. What I appreciate most about FloQast is how it helps me stay organized by displaying all my weekly tasks in one convenient location. I can easily sign off on tasks once I’ve completed them, which notifies my manager that everything is ready for review. If any questions arise regarding my tasks, FloQast allows me to add comments directly. One of my major month-end reconciliations is linked to FloQast, and since it integrates with Excel, I can sign off on the task when the reconciliation balance falls within the acceptable threshold, signaling to my manager that it’s ready for review. I also use FloQast to comment on month-over-month variances. Our organization is working towards making FloQast the central hub for all our accounting procedures, and it truly helps everyone on the team stay organized. We rely on FloQast daily. Floqast has allowed our team to shorten our close time frame from around 12 business days down to 7. The various dashboards have allowed our team to track progress in real time, limiting the need for manual check ins on status updates. It was very easy to implement, requiring the lowest lift of some of our other platform integrations, and has been very easy to train new users on. Our company uses JEM and its been great to be able to integrate actual journal entries right into their corresponding checklist item. Definitely would like to run a completeness check for any income statement accounts, uploading a reconciliation to compare to our ERP system's balances allows us to ensure that new account activity is captured & there aren't any transactions that were accidentally booked to a inactive or infrequently used account. They are also starting to venture into the AI space, something all accountants are dipping our toes into. Additionally, the automation capabilities, particularly for reconciliation purposes, are highly valuable. The potential for integrating artificial intelligence to deepen the balance sheet reconciliation process makes FloQast an attractive tool for our needs.
