The checklist function which could track monthly task by due date so that we will never foget what we need to do 2. The autolink function which could grab the reconciliation number from the BOX directly. So that we don't need to update it manually if we want to update the Reconciliation. 3. I have been using FloQast for the past six months primarily for month-end closing and checklist management, which allows us to ensure everything is checked off accurately as per our audit manager's requirements. I particularly enjoy the ease of use of FloQast, which makes the checkoff process straightforward and enables smooth collaboration with our external accounting firm. The software's ability to integrate with our accounting software is highly beneficial, as it allows me to track the status of our closing process, identify bottlenecks, and contact team members who may be lagging behind in their tasks. This feature greatly enhances the efficiency of our closing process and helps prevent delays. I think that maybe in the prepaid section, which we have just started using, could be a bit easier, specifically when entering beginning balances that have already been amortized over several months. The organization of all the tasks & deliverables. Having a clean & user-friendly UI that clearly shows when & what is open. Having an option of rotating frequency of tasks that can be rolled daily, monthly, & quarterly. It's integration with OneDrive makes the review process a lot easier with having all the required support online. Pretty fast process of setting up or implementing it for new clients. Unfortunately, a fairly manual process to copy or replicate Checklist items & templates. FloQast effectively aids in solving the month-end close challenges, particularly helpful for our large team, as it provides insight into everyone's progress, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and swiftly. I love how user-friendly it is, making it easy to learn and use compared to other month-end close systems. The software significantly aids in tracking our month-end process, providing clarity on our progress and highlighting potential delays, which is invaluable for project management. The notes capability is a standout feature, serving as an excellent communication tool between preparers and reviewers by sending notifications through emails or Microsoft Teams. Additionally, I find the integration with Microsoft Word and VIZIO extremely useful for editing process documentation directly within FloQast. The ability to assign due dates with clear responsibilities for preparers and reviewers further enhances our workflow efficiency. I like how we can track where we're at with our month-end close using the checklist. I also like how FQ helps us track and complete our reconciliations. My biggest complaint is the time it takes for things to load. For example, when I submit my reconciliation files, it takes quite a long time for FQ to refresh. It's hard to be productive during this time because there really isn't enough time to go do something else, but also, it takes long enough that i feel like I'm waiting too long and wasting time. FloQast has demonstrated industry leading qualities from start to finish. In the sales portion of the experience, FloQast members shared genuine interest in helping us solve problems rather than just pushing us to signing a contract. Once implementation begun, we were assigend a rep that helped us not only set up the product, but guided us in a way to also think critically about how our business practices could evolve throughout. The implementation was incredibly easy and our rep kept me (as an admin) in the loop throughout to ensure I was able to continue supporting the software once the implementation phase had concluded. FloQast takes customer feedback seriously and rolls out additional features frequently based on feedback received. In total, after 6 months of use, the time to complete our close has decreased by 60% and we are more confident in the accuracy of the underlying data than ever before. FloQast is incredibly flexible and our company has been able to find many "work arounds" for some complex hurdles and reporting requirements. Our company had a problem with enforcing standardization across multiple entity types and reporting requirements, while also encouraging efficiencies. FloQast has not only allowed us to create standardization, but encourage cross training (i.e. people from different teams can easily help with one-off tasks by following the layout in FloQast). Since we implemented FloQast for our close a few years ago, our average days to close has shortened because we are focusing on the things that matter and not wasting time with Excel WB as our white papers. We can easily navigate to any entity (and we have over 40) quickly and readily and get a succinct overview of where we are at. I like being able to customize our reconciliations and checklist items for each of the entities that I am responsible for. We use FloQast everyday, multiple times a day. It integrates seamlessly with our Accounting Software, Sage. I also appreciate the Variance Analysis as this feature allows us to report to our CFO and Financial Reporting Team quickly by downloading the results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. FloQast did an update about six months ago, whereby when you are in the Folders View, the Checklist items area is really large but the Reconciliation Items (which is our most important thing), is very small and requires you to scroll. The platform allows easy access to prior month's comments and facilitates quick variance analyses quarter over quarter or year over year, which is essential for our workflows. I also value the changes FloQast has made recently, such as the variance analysis now defaulting to show the prior period explanation, which saves time and reduces the need for navigation to old records. It's a simple tool that isn't trying to reinvent the wheel but instead focuses on delivering functionality that works efficiently. Additionally, the smooth integration built-in with the API and the connection to NetSuite enhances productivity by helping to streamline tasks. I find that FloQast does not have a real competitive advantage in terms of functionality compared to other similar tools. The primary factor seems to be the price point rather than unique features. Additionally, I am not impressed with the AI features and explanations, which do not stand out from other offerings. I also believe there is an issue with overpromising and underdelivering common to many SaaS companies. I would prefer if the company focused more on perfecting the core product and customer experience. Specifically, I find the lack of customizability in variance analysis frustrating, such as the ability to view journal entries not yet posted to the general ledger without having to reach out to FQ to build out this functionality.
