FloQast is an excellent platform for managing the month-end close process efficiently. I really like how it centralizes all close activities in one place — from tracking tasks and assigning them to team members, to performing variance analysis and reviewing journal entries. The ability to collaborate seamlessly across the accounting team improves visibility and accountability throughout the close process. Additionally, FloQast’s integration with NetSuite (and other ERP systems) makes data flow smoother and reduces manual work, helping ensure accuracy and timeliness. The only thing I dislike about FloQast is that, at first, it can feel a bit cumbersome to navigate through the different options. As FloQast continues to scale, maintaining simplicity while adding more advanced features can be difficult. Ensuring the platform remains intuitive for both small teams and larger, more complex organizations is something that likely requires constant refinement. Floqast makes tracking tasks and reconciliations during month-end close simple. You can easily see what's what items are still open and how long they are overdue by. Numerous filtering options by preparer, reviewer, due date, status, are all very helpful. Integration with Dropbox makes updating recs and documentation of reconciling items easy. Floqast is used as the main tool for the Accounting team to track progress of month-end close and reconcile balance sheet accounts every month. It has streamlined Accounting's month-end closed by consolidating all recs and tasks into one system/place and has eliminated having to manually track tasks in a Google Sheet. When using the Flux analysis I would love an option as preparer to filter for the items I have checked off, even if the reviewer has not checked off, instead of an all or nothing filter that indicates if the item is either completely done or still needs review.
