## FloQast Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlined Close Process with Seamless Integration and Top Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swetha S. | Senior Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2026

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

From a Chartered Accountant’s perspective in RTR, what I like best about FloQast is how it brings structure and transparency to the close process. It simplifies reconciliations, provides clear visibility into close status, and ensures strong audit trails. This reduces manual follow-ups, improves accuracy, and allows me to focus more on analysis and reporting rather than coordination.
Also its ease of use and ease of implementation, which allow the team to get productive quickly without heavy training. The tool integrates smoothly with existing ERPs, making integration seamless and reducing manual work. Its strong customer support ensures quick resolution of issues during close. The frequency of use reflects how naturally it fits into daily RTR activities, and the right number of features keeps the close process efficient without adding unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

During month-end close, when a client had entity-specific reconciliation requirements and ad-hoc adjusting entries, FloQast’s standardized checklist and reconciliation formats didn’t fully accommodate these exceptions. This led to maintaining parallel Excel trackers outside the system, increasing manual effort and the risk of version-control issues, which partially offsets the efficiency benefits FloQast aims to provide.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast addresses the challenge of disorganized and manually driven close activities by bringing all close tasks, reconciliations, and reviews into one structured platform. In an RTR role, this helps eliminate scattered trackers and constant follow-ups.

The benefit to me is better control and visibility over the close process. I can clearly track task ownership, review status, and supporting documentation in real time. This improves accuracy, strengthens compliance, and reduces time spent on coordination, allowing greater focus on review and financial insights rather than process management.

  ### 2. User-Friendly, Feature-Rich, and Organized—Minor Lag with Heavy Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sadonia S. | Property Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I love how easy floqast is to use. It is extremely user-friendly and has an abundance of features. Each day that I use floqast, I am introduced to a feature I did not know. Floqast also sends email updates and trainings that I can take advantage of to learn more about their tools. The platform keeps everything organized, transparent, and easy to track and works so well with excel! The automated reminders and checklists make sure nothing slips through the cracks, which helps reduce stress during month-end.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

The only minor issue is the occasional lag in updates when a lot of people are working in FloQast at once, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Also, the setup and customization phase can take a bit of time to fine-tune

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast helps solve the challenges of tracking close tasks across multiple properties and entities. Before using it, our team relied on manual spreadsheets and email reminders, which made it hard to stay organized and meet deadlines. Now, everything is centralized — I can clearly see what’s been completed, what’s pending, and who’s responsible. It’s also made reviews and reconciliations much faster and easier to track. Overall, FloQast has reduced stress during month-end, improved accountability, and saved us a ton of time.

  ### 3. Keeps Our Small Team Organized and On Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura B. | Staff Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I really appreciate how FloQast helps keep our team organized. Since our team is small and each member handles a variety of responsibilities, FloQast makes it much easier for us to stay on track and ensures that all our documentation is centralized. This way, anyone can step in and take over a task whenever necessary. While we primarily use FloQast for our monthly close process, we're also in the process of moving our daily and weekly tasks into the platform.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Based on my experience with FloQast, I truly can't find anything that I dislike about it. If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be the addition of a dedicated area for managing daily or weekly tasks that aren't tied to a specific project or the close dashboard.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast has enabled our accounting team to transition from using separate Excel trackers for each person to a unified platform where everyone can check off their monthly tasks. Now, tasks are automatically routed to reviewers, eliminating the need to remind them manually. FloQast also centralizes all of our documentation, making it much easier to manage. During audits, we've saved significant time by simply setting up auditor access to our tasks and workbooks, which has greatly reduced the need to download and email documents that auditors previously couldn't access.

  ### 4. All-in-One Solution for Daily and Month-End Tasks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Romana Z. | Accounts Payable Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I appreciate that it's a one-stop shop for all my tasks, whether they're daily responsibilities or related to month-end close. I use it every single day, and it helps ensure I don't overlook anything. It's also straightforward to use.
I wasn't involved in implementation , integration nor needed to talk to costumer support.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I wish there were an out-of-office feature, so that when I return from PTO, I wouldn't have to manually review and mark as done all the tasks that were delegated or skipped during my absence. It would also be helpful to have a way to check multiple tasks at once in these situations, or to skip completion of those tasks.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform serves as a comprehensive solution for managing daily tasks, month-end close activities, and tracking as well as storing accounting reconciliations. It brings everything together in one place, making these processes more organized and efficient.

  ### 5. FloQast Streamlines Month-End Close with Intuitive Automation and Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammed R. | Senior Accountant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

What I like best about FloQast is how it centralizes and automates the month-end close process. The checklists, task tracking, and automated reconciliations make it easy to see exactly where we are in the close at any time. It’s intuitive, collaborative, and eliminates the chaos of managing the close through spreadsheets and emails. The visibility it gives our leadership team is a huge bonus.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

While FloQast is an excellent tool overall, the initial setup and integration process can be time-consuming, especially for larger or more complex accounting environments. Customizing workflows to fit unique internal processes sometimes requires extra support from their implementation team. Additionally, certain reporting or analytics features could be more flexible for deeper insights.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast solves one of the biggest challenges in accounting — managing an efficient, accurate, and transparent month-end close. Before using FloQast, our team relied heavily on spreadsheets, email chains, and manual checklists, which often led to version control issues and missed deadlines. FloQast centralizes the entire close process, automates reconciliations, and provides real-time visibility into task progress.

As a result, we’ve shortened our close timeline, improved accountability, and gained better insight into where bottlenecks occur. It has also enhanced collaboration across the accounting team and given leadership greater confidence in our financial accuracy.

  ### 6. Great for Accountability and Storage, But Needs Smoother Bulk Actions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey M. | Outsourced Account Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I use FloQast every day and really appreciate its storage features, as well as how it encourages accountability by assigning tasks to individuals. I also value that it acts as a sort of playbook for managing a client's work. If a quick transition were needed, anyone new to the role would find it much easier to understand the client's requirements. On the rare occasions I've needed support, the assistance has been prompt and helpful.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

It's a little clunky and a pain when you have to mass change settings. I also wish there was a way to see every file uploaded in a single place, searchable by date range.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After we began using FloQast, we no longer needed to rely on three different programs to handle the same tasks. Previously, we had to open Engagement, Document, and Project Trax separately, but now we can simply log in to FQ and manage everything in one place. It has become a one-stop shop for our needs.

  ### 7. Effortless Team Coordination and Organization with FloQast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Pablo B. | Senior Revenue Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

What I like most about FloQast is how easy it makes it to coordinate team tasks and keep everything organized. It provides great visibility into progress and ensures everyone knows what to do and when, which makes collaboration much more efficient

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

What I don’t like about FloQast is that we need an administrator to make any changes. I would like to have more control over my own tasks. For example, I often have a single task in FloQast that actually involves completing five different steps. It would be great to create my own ad-hoc subtasks within FloQast to track those steps — ones that I can edit or manage myself without changing the main team task

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast helps our team to stay organized during the close process, like it really makes easier to keep track of tasks and see what everyone is doing. It helps with collaboration and to make sure deadlines are not missed. For me, it’s great cause I can have everything in one place and know exactly what I need to do and when, so it saves a lot of time and avoids confusion

  ### 8. Keeps Month-End Close on Track—Seamless Organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor L. | Accounting Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I use FloQast to track month-end close activities and manage reconciliations. FloQast helps both me and my team stay organized and on schedule. Whenever I want to check the progress of our month-end close processes, I simply log in and can immediately see which tasks are still outstanding. We use Floqast on a monthly basis.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I honestly have no complaints about FloQast. It meets our business needs effectively. The only minor issue I occasionally encounter is when an Excel spreadsheet is uploaded and converted into a Google Doc; sometimes, the formula connections are lost in the process. However, I believe this is more of a Google Doc issue rather than a problem with FloQast itself.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast addresses challenges that often result from disorganization and limited visibility into the progress of month-end close and reconciliations. By centralizing all tasks and processes in a single platform accessible to the entire team, it enables everyone to quickly gain a complete overview of the team's status and any outstanding items with just one click.

  ### 9. Effortless Task Tracking and Powerful Reconciliation Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Urvil P. | Accounting analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I appreciate being able to keep track of everything on a monthly basis - Completed and what task are delayed, Who is doing it. The reconciliation feature, along with the automatic reconciliation, is particularly useful for large data set. I also like how adaptable the platform is and how well it integrates with Google Docs.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Sometimes it crashes and I loose all my data and have start the process from very beginning. I also don't like how after i check the completion if someone else touches my google doc, the complete checkmark would be automatically removed with notifying me and also it should lock in once the file is done.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I often face tight deadlines at month end, with a large volume of data to reconcile before invoicing partners to guarantee accuracy. FloQast helps me stay on track and meet these deadlines, which is especially beneficial when it comes to my year-end review and performance appraisal. The reconciliation process ensures that all my data is accurate and complete before I send it to customers, significantly reducing the time I need to spend on these tasks.

  ### 10. FloQast Keeps Me Organized and On Track with Timely Reminders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Whitney L. | Senior Accountant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I really appreciate how FloQast helps me stay organized by keeping track of all the tasks I need to complete and sending reminders that ensure I meet my deadlines. It's especially helpful to receive notifications for tasks that occur less frequently, such as annual ones, which could easily be overlooked. As someone responsible for many account reconciliations, some of which are also posted to by others, I find it very useful to get alerts when an account goes out of balance. Before using FloQast, I might not have noticed these issues until the next month's reconciliation.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I realize this might be a minor point, and I’m sure it’s something that’s already being addressed, but as a user of Transform, I would really appreciate having an integration with Netsuite. It would be great to pull data directly into the steps, instead of having to reference a file.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has been instrumental in helping me meet tight deadlines. As well as SOX reconciliation controls, which used to be a very time-consuming task.

  ### 11. Provides Awesome Features that Accountants Need!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco M. | Accounting Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

FloQast has significantly enhanced the closing process for both me and my team. It provides valuable metrics that help us monitor our progress during the close, and it streamlines reconciliations by connecting account balances directly from our reconciliations to FloQast. What I appreciate most is the ability to easily see whether I am ahead of or behind schedule, which makes managing deadlines much more straightforward.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

While I have very few complaints about FloQast, there are some nuances and aspects that require workarounds to make the software fit my needs. For example, I can't easily generate a list or report of entries that have been approved but not yet posted. To address this, we've been using the notes section to run reports on these entries, and we've also considered using tags as an alternative solution. Another area that presents more of a knowledge gap for me is the use of the remind features in FloQast. I believe this feature has a bit of a learning curve, but it could be a valuable automation tool for certain close processes. Although I haven't fully explored this tool, I did spend about 10 to 15 minutes once trying it out and realized it would take some time to learn or to identify practical use cases. More training and standard operating procedures around this feature would be helpful. Another downside would be not being able to add subtasks or mark an entry partially complete. For example, for weekly entries it would be nice to mark those 25% complete if 1 out of 4 entries are completed. This could help reduce some volume of checklist items in FloQast.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast has been especially helpful in ensuring that reconciliations are submitted on time. I find the notifications it sends when something goes out of balance to be particularly important.

  ### 12. From Chaos to Control: Closing Made Simple.......Smooth Sailing Through the Close Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunal Sanjeev S. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

FloQast is an excellent platform for managing the month-end close process efficiently. I really like how it centralizes all close activities in one place — from tracking tasks and assigning them to team members, to performing variance analysis and reviewing journal entries. The ability to collaborate seamlessly across the accounting team improves visibility and accountability throughout the close process. Additionally, FloQast’s integration with NetSuite (and other ERP systems) makes data flow smoother and reduces manual work, helping ensure accuracy and timeliness.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

The only thing I dislike about FloQast is that, at first, it can feel a bit cumbersome to navigate through the different options. However, after using it for about a week, it becomes very intuitive and user-friendly.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast helps streamline our entire month-end close process by allowing us to manage and track all close-related tasks in one place. We can assign tasks to team members, set deadlines, and easily monitor progress. The platform also supports reconciliation and variance analysis, helping ensure accuracy and accountability. One of the biggest benefits is the clear audit trail — we can see exactly when a preparer completed a task and when it was reviewed, which enhances transparency and improves our overall close efficiency.

  ### 13. Floqast Simplifies Month-End Close with Intuitive Tracking and Filters

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher C. | Accounting Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

Floqast makes tracking tasks and reconciliations during month-end close simple. You can easily see what's what items are still open and how long they are overdue by. Numerous filtering options by preparer, reviewer, due date, status, are all very helpful. Integration with Dropbox makes updating recs and documentation of reconciling items easy.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

No cons to Floqast I can think of. Used Blackline as a reconciliation tool prior to Floqast and Floqast UI/UX and functionality is definitely a big upgrade.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Floqast is used as the main tool for the Accounting team to track progress of month-end close and reconcile balance sheet accounts every month. It has streamlined Accounting's month-end closed by consolidating all recs and tasks into one system/place and has eliminated having to manually track tasks in a Google Sheet. It's secondary use for the team is to track compliance and reporting related tasks.

  ### 14. Streamlined Financial Management with Intuitive Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prithvi D. | manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I like how FloQast makes the month-end close process very easy, fast, simple, and organized. The reconciliation automation is great because it reduces a lot of manual work. I also appreciate the Excel integration since our team heavily relies on Excel and FloQast connects directly to it. The onboarding team was helpful and guided us through the straightforward initial setup.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

FloQast feels complex for new users and customization and reporting options feel limited.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast helps me automate financial closing which reduces errors and speeds up processes, eliminating the need for spreadsheets and manual follow-ups, making tasks less delayed. I also like its reconciliation automation and Excel integration, reducing manual work and simplifying the month-end close.

  ### 15. FloQast Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachael H. | Accountant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

FloQast really helps me and my team stay organized during both the close and pre-close periods, which can often become quite hectic. Thanks to FloQast, we remain focused on our objectives and aligned with our monthly and quarterly goals. It was easy to implement into my monthly tasks, and customer support is there when I needed help. I use FloQast frequently and just recently learned about FloQast remind and looking forward to integrating it into my processes.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

When I first began using FloQast, there was a bit of a learning curve. However, I am now comfortable navigating the platform.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast is helping solve time management problems and also keeping myself and the team on track with our daily goals through busy times.

  ### 16. Intuitive and Streamlined Closings, with Room for More Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brady H. | Treasury Accountant III, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

FloQast has proven to be highly intuitive and has significantly streamlined our month-end closing process. I appreciate how easy it is to upload documents to a folder and have them automatically linked and added as support, which is especially helpful when updates are required. Also, the reminders and the way tasks are organized among teams and individual team members have made it much clearer to track responsibilities and see who is handling each task.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I think there could be a little more flexibility in the recurring items, but overall it has been very useful.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform addresses the challenges of assigning, tracking, and uploading reconciliation reports, while also offering checklists for recurring tasks that we frequently use and continually refine.

  ### 17. A Reliable Tool That Brings Structure and Efficiency to the Close Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana A. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

The most helpful features have been the task tracking and reconciliation checklists, which keep our team organized and ensure nothing is missed.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be making the user interface a bit more intuitive when navigating between modules or reviewing completed tasks. At times, it can take a few extra clicks to get where you need to go.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our accounting team implemented FloQast earlier this year, and it has made a huge difference in our month-end close process. The platform has helped improve our organization, streamline reconciliations, and increase overall visibility into our close tasks. It’s been a great tool for keeping our team aligned and ensuring a smoother, more efficient close each month.

  ### 18. The Cleanest Cloud-Based Deliverable Tracker

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

The organization of all the tasks & deliverables. Having a clean & user-friendly UI that clearly shows when & what is open. Having an option of rotating frequency of tasks that can be rolled daily, monthly, & quarterly. It's integration with OneDrive makes the review process a lot easier with having all the required support online. Pretty fast process of setting up or implementing it for new clients. A useful tool assists us each quarter.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Unfortunately, a fairly manual process to copy or replicate Checklist items & templates. I wish there was more customization for the Dashboard to make more effective/personal for the layout & info displayed

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has been instrumental in helping us track our deliverables and maintain compliance for our SOC 2 testing, both quarterly and at year-end. One particularly valuable feature is the clear display of the Preparer and Reviewer for each checklist, which greatly supports our training of new team members and makes it easier to log sign-offs.

  ### 19. Streamlined Month-End Close, Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | Director of Property Accounting

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I appreciate FloQast's seamless integration with our ERP system and OneDrive, making it exceptionally user-friendly and easy to set up. The software's ability to pull GL balances and tie them easily to Excel sheets greatly enhances our account reconciliation process's accuracy and completeness. FloQast effectively aids in solving the month-end close challenges, particularly helpful for our large team, as it provides insight into everyone's progress, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and swiftly. I also like how FloQast is constantly evolving, always adding new features and modules, which expand its usability and make it a desirable tool for month-end closes and other accounting-related tasks.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I would probably change the pricing model, making a more transparent pricing model that's not so dependent on the number of users. This would make it easier to implement for teams of all sizes. Additionally, just knowing what the prices are upfront without having to go through a salesperson would make it much easier.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use FloQast to streamline our month-end close process, enabling team coordination and efficient account reconciliations, significantly speeding up the closing process.

  ### 20. Streamlined Month-End Close with FloQast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly B.

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I appreciate how FloQast eases the month-end close process by being user-friendly and easy to set up. The software's capability for automatic reconciliations and sign-offs is particularly valuable as it eliminates the need for manual tasks, saving us significant time during close periods. I also love the easy visibility into close deadlines, which enhances our team's efficiency by allowing us to track the completion status of other teams' tasks without direct communication. Additionally, its compatibility with Oracle aids in our variance analysis by updating the trial balance, further streamlining our tasks. These features collectively contribute to a smoother and more efficient accounting process, which I find incredibly beneficial. FloQast's integration into our workflow has been seamless, creating efficiencies that not only save time but also allow us to stay informed about where each team stands during the close process.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

nothing

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use FloQast to eliminate manual reconciliations, gain easy visibility into close deadlines, and enhance team communication without constant check-ins.

  ### 21. Good Features, Competitive Product

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob Y.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I appreciate how FloQast brings all necessary reconciliations and documents into one centralized location, making it easy for the entire team to collaborate virtually without relying on tools like OneDrive. The platform allows easy access to prior month's comments and facilitates quick variance analyses quarter over quarter or year over year, which is essential for our workflows. I also value the changes FloQast has made recently, such as the variance analysis now defaulting to show the prior period explanation, which saves time and reduces the need for navigation to old records. It's a simple tool that isn't trying to reinvent the wheel but instead focuses on delivering functionality that works efficiently. Additionally, the smooth integration built-in with the API and the connection to NetSuite enhances productivity by helping to streamline tasks. Overall, I find it simple to use and effective in meeting our core needs.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I find that FloQast does not have a real competitive advantage in terms of functionality compared to other similar tools. The primary factor seems to be the price point rather than unique features. Additionally, I am not impressed with the AI features and explanations, which do not stand out from other offerings. I also believe there is an issue with overpromising and underdelivering common to many SaaS companies. I would prefer if the company focused more on perfecting the core product and customer experience. Specifically, I find the lack of customizability in variance analysis frustrating, such as the ability to view journal entries not yet posted to the general ledger without having to reach out to FQ to build out this functionality. This limitation can result in bottlenecks during variance analysis, and having more native customizable options would be a significant improvement.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast centralizes access to reconciliations and documents, enhancing team collaboration without relying on OneDrive, and simplifies variance analysis. Built-in API and NetSuite connection streamline processes.

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I find FloQast an invaluable tool for organizing my month-end checklist and reconciliations, offering a singular, centralized workspace that keeps my focus on essential tasks. Its search functionality stands out for its efficiency, allowing me to quickly locate task numbers and presenting immediate results as I type, significantly speeding up my workflow. I appreciate how seamlessly FloQast integrates with Excel by using hashtags to automatically connect for reconciliations, ensuring everything ties neatly into the general ledger and providing reassurance as I navigate the web interface. Its ease of use and simplicity add tremendous value to anyone working within the accounting function. The product naturally markets itself through its effectiveness and utility, making it highly recommendable to future accounting teams I might join. Overall, I am highly satisfied with FloQast and believe it to be exceptionally beneficial.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I fully enjoy FloQast, and I do not have a part of the software I dislike.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find FloQast organizes my month-end close tasks, providing a central location for checklists and reconciliations, which streamlines my workflow.

  ### 23. Powerful Dashboards and Task Management for Smooth Month-End Close

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I really value the dashboards and the ease with which I can organize checklists and tasks across different business functions. This tool has proven to be especially powerful for us during End of Month and End of Quarter close and reconciliation processes. I also appreciate the ability to integrate with our other business tools.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

One area where I wish FloQast could improve is in its reporting and data analysis features. I feel that we are not fully utilizing this aspect of the system, and I would appreciate having more guidance or resources on how to make the most of these functions.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a centralized location for our financials allows our leaders to easily see where we stand at the end of each month, quarter, and year. This setup makes it possible for us to communicate effectively and quickly identify what is missing, especially since multiple business units are working and logging information into the system.

  ### 24. FloQast Keeps Our Team Organized and Streamlines Accounting Tasks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

What I appreciate most about FloQast is how it helps me stay organized by displaying all my weekly tasks in one convenient location. I can easily sign off on tasks once I’ve completed them, which notifies my manager that everything is ready for review. If any questions arise regarding my tasks, FloQast allows me to add comments directly. One of my major month-end reconciliations is linked to FloQast, and since it integrates with Excel, I can sign off on the task when the reconciliation balance falls within the acceptable threshold, signaling to my manager that it’s ready for review. I also use FloQast to comment on month-over-month variances. Our organization is working towards making FloQast the central hub for all our accounting procedures, and it truly helps everyone on the team stay organized. We rely on FloQast daily. Implantation was easy and customer service is always available and helpful.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Like with any software, there were some learning curves when I first started using Floqast. However, once I became familiar with it, the platform proved to be very easy to use. I also find it quite intuitive.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Floqast keeps everything is one easy to use dashboard. It helps communication between myself and my manager as well.

  ### 25. Floqast Streamlines Close Process, Needs Better Completeness Checks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

Floqast has allowed our team to shorten our close time frame from around 12 business days down to 7. The various dashboards have allowed our team to track progress in real time, limiting the need for manual check ins on status updates. It was very easy to implement, requiring the lowest lift of some of our other platform integrations, and has been very easy to train new users on. Our company uses JEM and its been great to be able to integrate actual journal entries right into their corresponding checklist item. Lastly, we haven't required support often but in the times we have the team has been very responsive and provided valuable feedback very quickly.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Definitely would like to run a completeness check for any income statement accounts, uploading a reconciliation to compare to our ERP system's balances allows us to ensure that new account activity is captured & there aren't any transactions that were accidentally booked to a inactive or infrequently used account. Currently we are only able to run this for balance sheet accounts

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Floqast is allowing us to centralize our close process, something that was manually managed via excel sheets before. They are also starting to venture into the AI space, something all accountants are dipping our toes into. The approach has been really great so far, almost a forced approach to go slow and get really comfortable with the AI product in order to gain confidence moving forward

  ### 26. Useful Features, Initial Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nishant G.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I find FloQast's checklist functionality and timely reminders really useful, as it sends notifications directly to my email about what's coming due. This keeps me organized and on track with deadlines. I also appreciate the integration with Slack, which is a very useful feature for sending out reminders, enhancing the coordination and communication within my team. Additionally, the automation capabilities, particularly for reconciliation purposes, are highly valuable. The potential for integrating artificial intelligence to deepen the balance sheet reconciliation process makes FloQast an attractive tool for our needs. Its effectiveness has kept it as our top choice over other vendors.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Initially, getting around FloQast can take efforts from admin perspective, indicating a learning curve when starting out. From a reconciliations perspective, I would make the software more reporting heavy by incorporating multiple aspects such as aging in balance sheet reconciliations, lag status, and the quality of reconciliations directly on FloQast. Additionally, I see a need for more customization of the filters on the checklist and reconciliation to better fit individual needs.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the product for checklist and balance sheet reconciliations, finding its timely reminders and Slack integration enhance my workflow efficiency.

  ### 27. Seamless Integration and AI Empowerment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica A.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I truly appreciate how FloQast significantly streamlines financial tasks with its AI tools, allowing us to efficiently prepare financials for our diverse clients. The platform reduces the need for direct communication among team members, as everything is accessible through FloQast, ensuring seamless updates and clarity on task statuses. The recent introduction of new AI tools has elevated our service level and enhanced team communication even further. FloQast's dependency management, rules, and notes facilitate a high level of accuracy in our financial reporting, fulfilling the service expectations of our clients. I find the setup process notably simple, and the ease with which it connects to popular financial systems like Xero, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, and Intact Sage is remarkably smooth, ensuring that post-connection issues are minimal. The auto-matching feature is incredibly beneficial for managing various data sets, while the prepaid amortization feature simplifies addressing challenging journal entries unique to each client. This functionality minimizes cumbersome manual tracking and allows the accountants to focus on verifying balances accurately. FloQast enabling notification alerts for balance sheet changes is highly valued, as it decreases unnecessary communication and allows real-time updates for immediate handling. Overall, it empowers me to dedicate more time to management tasks, confident in the reliability of FloQast’s numbers. With these comprehensive tools, our firm can enhance our client advisory services remarkably, adapting to the rapid technological advancements in the accounting industry.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I wish FloQast was more tailored to client advisory services firms allowing more functions for managing multiple clients. The current setup seems more focused on individual firm financials rather than offering robust support for client services. Another issue is the lack of flexibility in switching between accrual and cash basis within FloQast, which complicates verifying balances when clients operate solely on a cash basis, as FloQast primarily pools accrual basis data.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use FloQast to streamline financial tasks, reducing team communication needs by centralizing information. It helps manage balance sheet changes efficiently, allowing more time for strategic management due to reliable numbers.

  ### 28. Perfect for Accounting Teams, Streamlines Month-End Close

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I find FloQast incredibly useful for managing our balance sheet reconciliations and providing journal entry support. It streamlines the audit process, allowing auditors to easily access and review journal entries and reports, which not only helps in ensuring accuracy but also saves our team a considerable amount of time in gathering information. The software's ability to integrate smoothly with our ERP and cloud software without any major setup difficulties was a big plus, making the implementation process straightforward. The audit review feature is particularly valuable, offering a thorough and efficient way for auditors to review necessary documents. The prepare reviewer feature ensures that every transaction is reviewed and prepared by separate parties, providing an extra layer of control. I love that FloQast offers a customizable dashboard where I can sort items assigned to me for preparation or review, giving a clear view of the status of our tasks, whether they are on time or delayed. This feature aligns well with project management needs, helping keep track of the team's progress. Additionally, FloQast's ability to connect seamlessly with the trial balance to balance out reconciliations and view everything on a single dashboard is very efficient for an accounting team like ours. It's perfect for completing month-end close tasks which makes me confident in recommending its tailored nature to accounting professionals.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I think FloQast could improve by adding more project management capabilities for other teams outside of accounting. While the accounting-specific dashboard is great, having similar features for finance, cash management, AR, AP billing, etc., would be beneficial. Right now, it's somewhat limited to checklist items, and expanding the dashboard offerings could enhance its utility across various departments. I'm unsure if more advanced features are available in higher-level subscriptions.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast streamlines our audit process, ensures journal entries are reviewed with control, and saves time by consolidating and facilitating auditor access to information.

  ### 29. Excel-Based Efficiency with FloQast Shines Bright

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuliya F.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I find FloQast to be incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, particularly appreciating its Excel-based functionality, which seamlessly integrates with our existing workflows. This has been a major advantage as our team extensively uses Excel, and it eliminates the need to transfer data into other formats, unlike with BlackLine where additional and sometimes cumbersome steps were required. The ability to attach Excel files directly and proceed without any hassle has streamlined our reconciliation processes significantly. FloQast has become an essential part of our monthly close and reconciliation processes, providing clear visibility into the status of reconciliations and including features like review notes which simplify managing deadlines and follow-ups. Moreover, I appreciate the ease of setup based on feedback from my team that it was very easy and intuitive to set up. FloQast’s capacity for managers to make notes directly within the support file greatly enhances the efficiency of the review process, eliminating the need to return files to the preparer for further clarification, thus making the entire reconciliation process more streamlined. These features make FloQast an indispensable tool that greatly enhances our productivity and organizational efficiency.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I find it challenging that downloading Excel files from SharePoint takes time, which can be frustrating as a reviewer. I'm still trying to determine whether this is a drawback of FloQast itself or just our internal Sharepoint set up issue. We are still investigating

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use FloQast for balance sheet reconciliations, simplifying processes and improving organization across entities. Its Excel-based format aids in ease and efficiency, providing clear visibility and making reconciliation management straightforward.

  ### 30. Floqast Keeps Us on Track—A Breath of Fresh Air for Task Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

The most helpful thing is that it can remind you of tasks that otherwise may be easily forgotten. This makes it extremely easy to keep track of any tasks that you need to complete. I use this primarily on a daily basis to make sure that my company is reporting to all regulatory agencies in a timely manner to avoid any issues with our permits and licenses.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

As a newer user I still haven't experienced any negative parts about Floqast. It really has been a breath of fresh air.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Floqast has really benefited my company by allowing us all to keep track of various tasks that other members of my department handle. I have tasks that are reliant on other's completion. So by allowing me to follow these necessary tasks in Floqast, I automatically get emailed when certain things are completed, letting me know that I am allowed to start on my tasks.

  ### 31. Difficult Setup, But Effective for Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauran L. | Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2024

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I appreciate FloQast for its effectiveness in enhancing management transparency within our company, which is a crucial factor for us. The system has greatly benefited us in this area, providing clarity and better oversight. The integration with other management tools like Workday complements our workflow, making this a seamless part of our accounting process. I find the layered security features particularly valuable, as they ensure that our data remains protected at all levels. This security aspect, combined with FloQast's overall ability to provide transparency, makes it a compelling choice for us. Additionally, the capability for sign-offs is one of the most useful features for my team, streamlining the workflow and facilitating easier tracking of approvals.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I find the initial setup of FloQast very difficult. Another significant issue is the update refresh time for journal entries and other transactions, which takes three to six hours. This delay complicates the process of making sign-offs and should be changed to happen in minutes instead of hours for efficiency.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find FloQast enhances management transparency with layered security, making our accounting processes more secure and clear.

  ### 32. Effortless to Use, Slight Performance Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam S.

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I appreciate that FloQast provides a transparent, audit-ready platform for managing finance and capital markets activities, ensuring there are no gaps in our processes. It serves as a central hub for final versions of documents, helping to avoid version control errors, which is critical for accuracy and compliance. The user interface is easy to navigate, even when toggling between different entities, which helps simplify otherwise complex processes. Additionally, FloQast streamlines month-end activity summaries and allows other finance employees to autonomously access necessary details, reducing my workload. Assigning tasks to specific team users also enhances collaboration and workflow efficiency.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I find entry-level upload speeds quite slow, which is annoying when dealing with many uploads of large file size.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use FloQast for a transparent, audit-ready finance platform ensuring no gaps and as a central hub to avoid version control errors, streamlining month-end summaries and allowing autonomous access to transaction data.

  ### 33. Keeps Me Organized with Seamless Sync and Timely Notifications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan H. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I like that it syncs to the Shared Drive and it helps me stay on track with all my tasks in one spot! I love the email notifications when something is due soon or when something is ready for review!

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

N/A - currently no dislikes about floqast!

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Floqast helps me stay on track and has become my to do list for every month end close and every quarterly close. It organizes via tags that I can use to filter out which tasks I'd like to prioritize. Rather than having a physical to do list, a manager can comment directly in a task and it helps me have a digital trail

  ### 34. Efficient Reconciliation with Helpful Alerts and Customizable Checklists

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman G. | Assistant Controller, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I've used other reconciliation software and I believe that FQ works very well. The email alerts are helpful.

An area that I believe is particularly noteworthy are the checklists. We have different checklists for month end close vs compliance. Having different checklists helps us to focus on close timelines which is great.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

The only issue with FQ is that it takes too long to upload documents. I don't think the issue is from our end as we can upload documents to other sites without the long delay we experience with FQ.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FQ helps with tracking tasks and letting me know when reconciliations are ready for review.

  ### 35. A helpful Tool to Increase Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deann B. | Staff Accountant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I like that I can select checklists/Reconciliations and all of my required tasks pop up. I can see the dates assigned and decide what needs to be tackled first. I feel the organization of tasks is much better than when using Monday.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I dislike the transformation from excel to google sheets. Some data is lost and does not present correctly.

**Recommendations to others considering FloQast:**

FloQast can be a tool used to incentivize production. By following the assigned completion dates and making sure all due dates are met users can be tracked to see who is staying on task, who is in front of the tasks, and who might be falling behind.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast is allowing multiple users to gather and maintain information in a timely manner. We are starting to get reconciliations done sooner, which may enable us o move up our close time.

  ### 36. FloQast Streamlines Month-End Close and Reduces Team Stress

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

FloQast assists the month end close process in a way that genuinely reduces stress for accounting teams. The checklist functionality keeps everyone on the same page about what needs to be done and by when, which holds members accountable on their responsibilities.
The reconciliation module similarly helps save significant time on repetitive tasks. Ensure accounting teams reconcile significant accounts and assist with understanding the variance module

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

As a preparer I would like to be able to create recurring tasks on the checklist module. I dont understand why a preparer can create single month tasks but a manager/admin needs to be the one to make it recurring

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving internal controls to ensure area are covered during monthly close journal entries and through reconciliations and variance analysis. All of which are items our auditors want to ensure are being completed each month

  ### 37. FloQast Streamlines Month-End Close, Minor Glitch with Approvals

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

FloQast was implemented right before I started at my current company. The Checklist feature is incredibly helpful in making sure that all of the team's work items are complete. When I run our month-end close meetings, I will filter on items that are not yet prepared and are due that day or are past due. I also appreciate how easy it is to review checklist items. Uploaded support is easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

One thing that has bothered me is occasionally, I will not be able to mark a checklist or reconciliation as approved; this generally happens after disconnecting/reconnecting to internet throughout the day. It is easily solved by restarting my computer, but this is not ideal during close.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves task management with our close checklist. It also solves reconciliation organization and approval workflows.

  ### 38. Intuitive interface and streamlining the close process

Another aspect I find beneficial is its audit trail capability, which enhances compliance and documentation. Overall, these features enable me to manage my workload more effectively and enhance team productivity.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

N/A

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use FloQast to efficiently track deadlines for period-end tasks and reconciliations, keep things organized and clean, and maintain audit trails.

  ### 39. Centralized Reconciliations Speed Up Audits, But Needs Better Intercompany Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brianna S. | Senior Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

All of our balance sheet reconciliations and task are in one place and can be accessed by all staff as well as auditors. It makes our annual audits move much quicker and more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

We don't have the ability to reconcile intercompany accounts between businesses in separate GP companies.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task completion and accounts reconciled can be tracked as a whole. We are able to see what areas we are having issues and where we need to step in and help to meet close deadlines.

  ### 40. Streamlined Task Management, But Reconciliation Matching Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I like that it gives transparency of what are the tasks of each team. The FloRequest and adding dependency on a Reconciliation or checklist helps me streamlined the process of my task during close. The Reconciliation in FloQast helps me on saving time reconciling and preparing my JE.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

So far, the main issue I have encountered with the Reconciliation feature is that it matches transactions based on the exact amount, rather than always matching by check numbers. Sometimes, it automatically matches transactions by amount instead of the check number, which is not what I expect. In these cases, I have to go back and double-check the matches.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency on the task and streamlined the process of close and resolving issues.

  ### 41. Organized Task Lists and Smart AI, Minor Automation Hiccups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I like how organized the task list is for JE's and recs. The AI as well is great in variance analysis. I use it to point me in the right direction, as well as check to see if what I came up with is on the right track.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

There is not much I am frustrated with in FloQast. Only thing is software "temperament" when trying to add more automation. I suppose that is with any software. FloQast is pretty great.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Depreciation has been automated more so. The reconciliation for depreciation is so fast now. We are saving a lot of time on this front. Once we figure out how to automate the depreciation JE this process will be even better.

  ### 42. Month 2 in FloQast and I LOVE IT!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donna M. W. | Senior Accountant, Accounting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

- Organized
- Easy to use
- Saves time
- Easily identify if account goes OOB
- Check list and reconciliation are combined on the folder tab
- Ability to lock folders once complete
- EVERYTHING :)

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

- Set up was a little time consuming for me b/c we used one spreadsheet for all our recs - however tbh nothing outrageous and probably pretty typical when implementing a new system

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company is part of a much larger parent company - we had a pretty manual ME close check list which really was not part of my process and I often didn't keep up w/ it until it was due and had to think back on the dates tasks were completed - our reconciliations we seperate and had to be loaded to another site - FloQast has combined both of these tasks into one and is just saving so much time -

  ### 43. FloQast Simplifies Payroll Tasks After Initial Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I was a bit overwhelmed when given my initial tour of FloQast but now, after using it for a few months, I've found that it's a great way to track the many, many tasks required of my busy payroll position. We've had a couple of issues that involved Trial Balances not loading but our IT department took care of that issue. I love that I can upload the corresponding documents for Journal Entries and Reconciliations. It puts everything at the tip of my reviewer's finger! I use it more towards the end of the month as that's when most of my tasks can be completed.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

It took me a bit to get used to the navigation but once I knew where to look for things I was good to go.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe that my employer was using either Excel or another system to track tasks and FloQast has been a significant upgrade for the team. It's so easy to mark items as complete and upload corresponding documents!

  ### 44. FloQast Brings Clarity and Organization to Our Close Process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

FloQast has truly changed the way we manage our monthly and quarterly close processes. Everything is now far more organized and transparent. The checklist and reconciliation modules make it incredibly straightforward to track responsibilities, and I can monitor progress in real time. This visibility is excellent for identifying bottlenecks early, allowing us to stay on schedule and complete our close on time. I also appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with Oracle ERP Fusion and Dropbox, keeping all our backup files properly linked and accessible.

One of the features I value most is the To-Do List. It clearly shows what’s overdue, what’s due today, and what’s coming up, which really helps me set priorities and plan my day more effectively. FloQast Remind has also been a major benefit. In my previous role, I had to manually send out recurring month-end emails for accruals and updates, which was easy to overlook. Now, those reminders are sent automatically, saving me significant time and mental energy.

The Slack integration, while a small detail, is extremely useful. It notifies me whenever a task is overdue or completed and provides a concise morning summary of the day’s tasks. Although it seems like a minor feature, it genuinely helps me stay organized and focused. Overall, FloQast has made the entire process much smoother—there’s less stress, fewer delays, and much greater visibility for the whole team.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Occasionally, syncing larger reconciliations can be time-consuming. After system upgrades, it may also be necessary to refresh connections. To help prevent accidental changes, I would appreciate it if completed tasks remained locked once their documentation is finalized.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I’ve mentioned before, FloQast has significantly improved our month-end and quarter-end processes. Everything is now much more organized and transparent. The checklist and reconciliation modules make it easy to see who is responsible for each task and to monitor progress in real time, which helps us identify bottlenecks early and avoid any last-minute surprises.

One feature I particularly appreciate is the To-Do List. It clearly displays what’s overdue, what’s due today, and what’s coming up, making it much easier for me to plan my workload. FloQast Remind has also been incredibly helpful, as it automates recurring emails for accruals and updates, so I no longer have to remember to send or follow up manually. The Slack integration is another great addition, providing quick notifications about overdue or completed tasks, along with a daily summary of upcoming items, which helps us stay on top of deadlines with ease.

In summary, FloQast has streamlined our workflows, saved us time, and given us better visibility, making the month-end close process less stressful and more predictable. It has truly made a difference for our team, and I would recommend it to any finance professional seeking to improve their closing process.

  ### 45. Streamlined Accounting with QuickBooks Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer S.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I find FloQast to be incredibly beneficial for organizing my work through its dashboard, which keeps my tasks streamlined and helps maintain clarity in my role. The reconciliations within Flowcast are a particular favorite of mine, ensuring that everything aligns neatly and efficiently. The end-of-month processes are another crucial aspect where FloQast excels, making an otherwise tedious task straightforward and manageable. The integration with QuickBooks Online is seamless, further simplifying the accounting and workflow management experience.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I would like the new month to roll out sooner than the first day of the month.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast helps keep my job organized with its dashboard and reconciliations, improving my workflow and end-of-month processes.

  ### 46. Simple and Organized, But Comment Navigation Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I like the simplicity of FQ. Everything is clearly set up in checklist/reconciliation sections that note due dates and tasks. I like the reminders FQ sends throughout the week, so it is nearly impossible to forget about a task.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Sometimes it is hard to find a task when I have left a note and someone else has commented on it. I will click the email to view comment but it still doesn't take me directly to the comment, I have to find it.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FloQast keeps me on time and within deadlines. It gives me on overview of what I need to do and when I need to complete it by.

  ### 47. Simple and User-Friendly, But Variance Analysis Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

Simple interface for checklists and reconciliations, ability to use a hashtag to auto reconcile, and ease of use.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Variance Analysis interface is not the most ideal: the inability to see 2 reviewers on the page without having to click to see the additional reviewer, the inability to filter for open items that are only open for your review (the "Ready for Review" filter shows all accounts regardless of whether it has already been reviewed - maybe showing this because there are 2 reviewers?), having to drag open the flux comment box in order to see the full flux comment, instead of it automatically displaying the full comment when clicking the first time around, not being able to easily toggle to see multiple prior month flux comments within the current month close that is being worked on.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time efficiency to help make close more efficient.

  ### 48. User-Friendly Features Make for an Efficient Close

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

I'm a new user so haven't learned all of the functions yet but am already a fan. My favorites so far are the Request Agent because I can view all the responses in one place, the Reconciliations because I receive notifications if something goes out of balance, and the Checklist because it is easy to update.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

It is a tad frustrating that only assignees can sign-off on a checklist item but anyone can remove the sign-off. From an audit perspective, I understand the restriction but don't quite get why it doesn't apply both ways.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with collaboration, centralizing supportive documentation, and audit support.

  ### 49. User-Friendly and Perfect for Organizing Data and To-Do Lists

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Constance L. | SEC Reporting Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

It's very user friendly and a great way to organize all of the data and keep track of to-do list items.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

Some of the navigation features on smaller screens aren't as user friendly.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We would lose track of due dates for various items, including account recs, controls, and miscellaneous tasks. Having the checklist feature makes everything easy to see in one spot.

  ### 50. Reliable tool for managing reconciliations and month-end close efficiently

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about FloQast?**

FloQast has made our reconciliation and month-end close process much more structured and transparent.

**What do you dislike about FloQast?**

I’d like to see even deeper automation in matching and reporting in future updates.

**What problems is FloQast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a finance professional, I particularly appreciate how it helps keep track of deliverables, ownership and deadlines across the team. The task checklist and automated reminders reduce follow-ups and the centralized dashboard gives a clear view of what’s pending or completed. In addition to this it helps in following ways.
Great visibility into task status and ownership
Simplifies reconciliations and close checklists
Strong audit and documentation features
