Floik was great for recording step-by-step videos for clients who are not necessarily so tech-saavy. It's relatively simple to use so I was able to get started with it right away. It did take some time for me to edit my Floik to make it as clear as possible for my end users. I also would love the ability to add additional screens after the initial screen recording is finished. The Chrome extension is handy for quickly putting together demos or guides. It's nice to see new features rolling out now and then based on what we users ask for. Floik helps in creating simple product showcases without much fuss: - Editing Tools: They have basic tools to tweak your content, which is nice. - Demo Branching: You can create interactive demos allowing some engagement from the viewer's side. - SEO Capabilities: For those on the Teams plan, this could be a plus for better discoverability. - Multi-format: Recording once and using it in different formats is time-saving. - Sharing: Sharing the content is easy with a URL or embed code. I miss the ability to add annotations to the video and screenshots in the pdf. It's also difficult to sync the audio with the video, and you have to add the transcript bit by bit. A superb and extremely easy way to build out your Help center and answer product queries in seconds in the most helpful way possible. Our CS team uses Floik everyday to draft super helpful guides to customer queries. These can be explainer videos, step-by-step guides or clickable demos. We have been able to deliver excellent support, over and above anything a simple text-based email answer can deliver. We can then repurpose that content in our help center or on social media.
