The Simplicity sometimes limiting your options and the flexibility of every change you need to make in the layout and bringing other HTML elements from maybe other software and so on in both the email and pages becomes a limitation if you have such a level of advanced customization in mind. I LOVE how streamlined, intuitive, and simple Flodesk is to use. I use it most for sending out my weekly newsletters, and it has made this process so much more enjoyable. It's super easy to customize each newsletter. It's one of the easiest platforms I've used for offering a lead magnet on my website, and it integrates seamlessly with my Squarespace site. The link in bio feature for Instagram allows me to easily create a professional on-brand link in bio. It's also a really beautiful platform, which just adds to the joy of using it. And they're always adding really awesome new features. I use it every single week and I've never once had a problem with it. It is an amazing value for the cost, and their generous affiliate program is an added perk. The one time I had to use their customer support (to help me reconnect my Stripe account when I opened a new one), the response was timely, clear, and easy to follow. This is only a minor irritation, but it's the only thing I can think of. When I've downloaded an image and want to upload it into the email builder, I can't just drag and drop it -- I have to search for it in my downloads folder (or wherever I'm up loading from). What problems is Flodesk solving and how is that benefiting you? With Flodesk, I'm able to do so many things with only one platform, instead of having to manage (and pay for) multiple platforms. I do all of my email newsletters and marketing with Flodesk, manage my lead magnet opt-ins on my website, have a checkout integrated right into any offers I want to make, and manage my Instagram link-in-bio all in one place. The email builder feels really intuitive, so I’m not wasting ages trying to make things look good, they already do. The templates are gorgeous, the branding feels really polished, and it’s actually enjoyable to create emails rather than feeling like another boring admin task. I also love how simple it is to set up workflows, segments and opt-in forms. It makes email marketing feel way less overwhelming, especially as someone who wants things to look beautiful but also just work properly. Honestly, the main thing I dislike is that they moved away from the simple one-price plan. That was such a big part of why I originally loved Flodesk. It felt really refreshing to know exactly what you were paying, without having to think about subscriber limits or pricing tiers as your list grew. But honestly, if you're focused on email and selling something (digital products, courses, memberships, services), that's not really a gap. It's just not what Flodesk is built for. The biggest problem it solved: I don't need to hire a marketing ops person to manage my automations anymore. On other platforms, restructuring segments, rebuilds workflows, and setting up multi-trigger automations felt like something that required external help. Flodesk's interface is intuitive enough that I can own that work myself—no developer, no manual, no friction. It's also solving the "generic email template" problem. Everything I send—emails, forms, landing pages, checkout—reflects my brand identity visually. My audience sees consistency across every touchpoint, which builds recognition and trust. And the form conversion rates speak for themselves: I'm seeing 2× industry average conversion on my signup forms. I love how easy Flodesk makes it for me to design beautiful newsletters, even though I'm not very tech savvy. The organization of all my emails and the ability to decide who I want to email, when, and with what content is really helpful. The platform allows me to import pictures and upload files directly from my company, which is great because I often have new announcements and specials every month. I can also easily send people to my landing page with just the click of a button. The customer service is fantastic; they have refunded me for months I didn't use and allowed me to keep my templates when I came back. I would love to have a tutorial to help me do things better because I'm pretty basic with what I do. I often try to upload files and they don't work, like AVIF files, which are common for my company. I wish I could create more than just simple templates and look forward to tutorials to create different templates. I paid a company to build the template for me initially, and I've been using that same template for almost all my emails. I would have preferred some kind of tutorial during the setup. My favourite thing about Flodesk is its beautiful email templates, which make designing emails feel quick and effortless. Flodesk currently doesn’t have an A/B split-testing feature for email subject lines, but once they add it, the platform will feel flawless :) I reached out by email about this a while ago, and they responded promptly to say they’re in the process of rolling it out, which would be amazing. I can design beautiful, striking emails in no time at all, while easily incorporating my small business brand kit — fonts, colours, and overall style — for a personalised look and feel my customers have come to expect. I also love that I can integrate newsletter sign-up forms and pop-ups on my WooCommerce/Wordpress website to gather new email leads. Two years ago, when the email platform my gallery had used for many years announced it was shutting down, I immediately began searching for a replacement that would be both user-friendly and capable of handling the specific needs of our twice-monthly newsletters. As the owner of a fine art photography gallery, consistency, design quality, and ease of use are essential in our communications. During that search, I discovered Flodesk and decided to give it a try. From the beginning, I was impressed by the intuitive interface and the wide range of visually appealing templates and formatting options. The design flexibility allowed us to create newsletters that reflect the aesthetic standards of our gallery without requiring technical expertise. The transition was also remarkably smooth—importing and organizing our entire contact database was straightforward and efficient. The platform was quickly adopted by our entire team at Susan Spiritus Gallery, and it has since become an essential part of our marketing and client communication workflow (susanspiritusgallery.com). It has allowed us to maintain a consistent publishing schedule while elevating the visual presentation of our newsletters. Equally important, Flodesk’s customer support has been excellent.
