What do you like best about Flocksy?

There is a large variety of people to work with and your project manager will help build the right team. I've loved having access to a variety of people and skills and also the opportunity to work with them repeatedly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flocksy?

Making sure your project queue is full at all times to get the best value for your money. It makes it hard to really disconnect on holidays or to transfer hours to a busier time of year. It would be a helpful option to "bank" some time or be able to pause a subscription rather than full on cancel for at least some period of time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Flocksy:

Subscriptions are for a month at a time, so make sure you have enough work for the plan/projects you've signed up for. Remember, all the work doesn't have to be the same - when I'm not ready with my usual work, I fall back on some social media help which always feels never ending. What problems is Flocksy solving and how is that benefiting you?

I wanted to expand what I was doing but needed help - one person can only do so much! But am not at the point where it makes sense to hire a full time employee - or rather, employees! Flocksy was recommended to me and I decided to give it a try. It's been almost a year and I've really been enjoying the variety of artists that I've worked and developed relationships with over that time. It's a "part time" team that has changed and adapted with my needs and freed up time for me to be more creative and work on other areas of my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't much that we have disliked. It took some time to develop the roster of designers who we feel most comfortable working with, but this allowed us to develop relationships with them that have significantly improved the quality of our deliverables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Take you time to develop a solid creative brief template that details your specific brand goals, specifications, and desired outcomes. This will help to speed up the briefing process and get you your deliverables as quickly as possible.

What problems is Flocksy solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a quick-turn solution to developing high quality content for our DTC business division. Our internal team was not equipped to provide the scale and variety of digital media assets we needed. Flocksy has helped us to not only meet our content volume needs, but has been able to do so with premium deliverables that meet and frequently exceed expectations. What do you like best about Flocksy?

They are always so responsive and never complain about how complex a project is. They give very realistic timelines on when things will be done and are great at implementing the feedback that I have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flocksy?

There is a little bit of a learning curve when working with an online partner in this way. Sometimes feedback can be harder to communicate than if you are used to being able to sit beside a person at their workstation and give realtime feedback while in the editor. But that is more of a learning experience on my part, and the more I work with the Flocksy team, the less I desire that version of feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Flocksy:

Make sure you are organized on your end for uploading and downloading project file. That is the main bottleneck I face, is that I have to be regularly be uploading video shoots while on the road. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a lot of busy work in the creating digital assets for companies and Flocksy does an amazing job of not just getting the grunt work done for me but doing an amazing job of delivering a close to final project if not the final project every single time! Flocksy is helping provide reduced-cost graphic design services that doesn't require hiring an additional employee. Some artists may be a little more green with a bit more hand holding, or just not as intuitive to business end user. But happy to help develop these creatives in working a project.

What do you like best about Flocksy?

Everyone there is INCREDIBLY responsive, nice, and reliable - Truly they do an amazing job of sourcing their talent and hiring quality people.

They're also pretty quick with churning out the deliverables, so it's a nice pillow to rely on with getting client work done quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flocksy?

They allocate a specific amount of hours every day to your projects - the number of hours depending on what tier you get, so for example, the highest tier, which is what I have is only 4.5 hours per day. The other thing that is a but sucky is that there's no timeproof for their work, so it's a bit difficult to gauge truly how much work is and can be done within your allocated hours.

Although it's being positioned as a negative, I can also see it as a double-edged sword. There have been times where I've told the project manager that I need a certain deliverable with urgency, and they're usually pretty good about responding to that and getting it to me quickly - so if they do go above the 4.5 hours of the day, we also won't know. Recommendations to others considering Flocksy:

It's not a cheap service, but if you've been burned by creative hires in the past and have a budget to work with, then streamlining your creative content with Flocksy is a great option to go! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
