## About Float.com
Float.com is the #1 resource management software for delivery teams, designed to give Operations and Delivery leaders the full picture of who’s working on what, whether delivery’s on track, and how to take on what’s next. Unlike disconnected spreadsheets or complex PSAs, Float offers a single, clear source of truth to plan, resource, and report on client work. It doesn’t replace existing CRMs, spreadsheets, HRIS, project and finance tools: it works alongside them to give you the full picture of delivery, so every decision gets made with complete visibility. 4,500+ of the best creative agencies, professional services, and in-house delivery teams globally choose Float to: ✔️ Always know who’s available and what’s coming next. No more spreadsheets that don’t match: your people’s availability, roles, and skills live in Float and update in real time. See who’s working on what at a glance, catch capacity issues early, and (re)allocate resources flexibly when plans change. ✔️ Scope accurately and adjust quickly. Set a baseline for every project—price, budget, roles, timeline—and know what delivery takes before work begins. Find the best-fit person with AI-assisted staffing; when something changes, compare your adjusted scope vs. the baseline and adapt with confidence instead of guesswork. ✔️ Stay on top of delivery performance. Get a live view of how delivery’s going, with the reporting depth to understand what’s driving it. ## Float.com Reviews
  ### 1. Useful and efficient resource planning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan M. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Visualises resource planning in a really intuitive and engaging way, clearly allocates projects to clients and budgets.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Some of the reporting aspects could be better, it can be a little awkward to report in certain dimensions, and linking the reporting into Xero for financials would be great too.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency and capacity - knowing who can work on what when.

  ### 2. Highly reccomend float

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Float is the best way to manage team workload and plan out project resourcing that we've used so far. Everything from setting up a project to moving resource needs around is super easy, intuitive and clear to understand. We run a busy studio with multiple projects in parallel, and Float is essential to managing our workloads. Plus we love the API access for integrating with other systemts.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Sometimes we need more clarity on hourly rates as they vary by project.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy overview of where time is needed for the team across projects.

  ### 3. A solid project management tool for a designer

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Logging time is super easy and clear, nice seamless process across the week. I only really use it to do that, around once a week but that's because it makes it easy. I haven't felt the need to have it integrated in any other apps. It's also worked without issue, so I haven't needed customer support.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I sometimes find it difficult to juggle tasks around before I log them, if I've completed things on different days etc

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to know what I'm working on for each day, easily — and what tasks are coming up

  ### 4. Effortless Time Management and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Ease of use, logging in time and managing timelines with other team members

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Havent faced any issues for my use case.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to know what project im scheduled to do as well as the hours needed for them. It also helps me understand what my team members are working on any given day.

  ### 5. Fast Performance, But Missing Baseline Gantt Comparison

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Speed of the UI and API make it fast to add projects and get planning quickly.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

No baseline Gantt comparison means you can't track performance in a visual way.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping on top of all team projects. With a high daily mix Float makes it easy to see an overview and drill into individual projects.

  ### 6. Very intuitive software for tracking time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karl P. | Product Trainer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

As the Float administrator for my organisation, Float is very easy to provide training on as it is very intuitive to demonstrate how to track time to my colleagues who use it to track the time they've spent on projects and tasks.
The layout is very easy and the process to schedule time and log time is also very easy as well.

When we run the end of month reports, there's very little chasing up of incorrect hours logged as the staff here have done their time sheets correctly.

The software looked very easy to implement as we didn't use any SSO integration to run the platform. Staff here use Float accounts and find it quick to log in.

The Customer Support is also good and efficient. I had a ticket resolved in 20 minutes over the web chat

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Nothing I can see.
We do use the platform very simply without too many layers to our processes.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an organisation that utilises project management to track our resources for project management, service management, programming, business analysys and more, we rely on Float to track the time spent on projects so that we can report this to our board to see if we are utilising resources correctly across different and simultaneous projects.
We need a solution that is quick to train on as we don't want staff who already have massive workloads to then have to log their time in a tedious platform. Float really solves this issue for us.

  ### 7. Great Analytics and Team Overview, Needs Smoother Entry Change Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

There is a good overview of all team members and projects with useful filters and color codes. I especially like the analysis functions with evaluation of what percentage of time is billable. As a consulting agency, this is a useful KPI for predicting revenue.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I would be happy if there was a workflow for changes of entries included, that the project manager can approve, because communicating necessary adjustments to our responsible administrators is bothering.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

See what team members have availability for a new project, see who is over-planned and needs support

Limited offline function, no deep reporting or analysis

Float gives you a live “who-is-doing-what” schedule so you can quickly see resource allocation. It ensures that teams are not burned out and resources are used efficiently

The functionality is quite limited, and the performance is noticeably slow. Additionally, the mobile experience is disappointing, especially due to the restricted filtering options available.
