## Float.com Reviews
  ### 1. Clear, Visual Resource Planning That Makes Scheduling Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** keith . | Graduate Roads and Transportation Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

What I like best about Float is how clear and visual the resource planning is. The timeline view makes it easy to see who is allocated to what at a glance, which helps catch capacity issues early and avoid over‑ or under‑booking people. It’s also quick to adjust schedules when priorities change, and the interface is intuitive enough that team members can get up to speed without much training.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

What I dislike about Float is that some more advanced reporting and customization options feel limited without exporting data. While the core scheduling works well, digging deeper into trends or historical insights can require extra steps.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float solves the problem of unclear resource allocation and capacity planning. Before using it, it was difficult to get a quick, accurate view of who was available, who was overbooked, and where potential conflicts might arise. Float provides a single, visual overview of schedules and workloads, which makes planning much more predictable.
This benefits me by reducing last‑minute conflicts, improving workload balance across the team, and making it easier to adjust plans when priorities change. It saves time, improves visibility, and helps make resource decisions with more confidence rather than guesswork.

  ### 2. Useful for Resource Management, But Not User-Friendly

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anika H. | Associate Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like the color coding options. It makes it really easy for our team to view people's schedules and organize the information in a way that makes the most sense to us. Organizing our schedules based on clients and assigning colors to each one makes it easier to see allocations in Float.com. The color coding helps us make decisions more quickly since we can view the schedule in this way, organizing it in our brains more easily.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I don't think it's the most user friendly at first. We switched from another resource management tool that everyone was able to understand really quickly. I think there's a lot of tabs that kind of feel like they do the same thing, but you're only able to do certain actions when you're in a certain view or on a certain page. So that can be kind of confusing. We tried doing a Monday integration, and that didn't work. It was actually quite challenging. We had a Float.com representative that tried to kind of onboard our team or prep our team, but I think we tried to implement it before we were really ready. So overall, the company struggled a lot with the implementation, and we didn't find the Float.com rep to be all that helpful.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to manage resource allocation and project future needs, organizing team availability to see bandwidth and hiring needs clearly.

**Official Response from Alexandria Petigna:**

> Hi Anika, thank you so much for this detailed feedback. I think it will genuinely help us improve. I’m really glad color coding has made scheduling clearer and faster for your team, and that’s exactly what it’s designed to do.
I hear you on the navigation complexity. Making Float intuitive from day one is something that our product teams are actively working on, and your point about actions being tied to specific views is a fair one.
I’m also sorry the Monday integration and onboarding experience fell short. When it comes to the onboarding experience, in particular, that’s not the standard I’d expect from our team. If you’re open to it, please reach out to our support team (support@float.com). It would be great to gather some more information from you on where things broke down and help you get more value from Float.

  ### 3. Great Schedule Clarity with Minor Mobile Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Archie B. | Junior UX Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like that Float.com has a clean and clear schedule interface. It's helpful because, at a glance, I can see the blocks of work I have to do for the day. The initial setup of Float.com was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

The information within the blocks is not super clear, which might be due to the setup at the agency. Also, on mobile, when I click on a work item in the schedule, sometimes there's no way to close the pop-up, and I have to refresh the page to return to the schedule view.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com for checking my schedule and the work I have to do. It solves scheduling by providing a clean and clear schedule interface, where at a glance, I can see the blocks of work I have to do for the day.

  ### 4. Effortless Work Planning with Float

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krzysztof J. | Strategy Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I love how simple Float.com is, with moving bookings, adding placeholders, and changing time estimates all easily done by pointing, grabbing, and clicking. As a process tool, it allows me to spend less time on processes and more on actual project work, making handling bookings and tracking my work super quick and easy. The initial setup was super easy and hassle-free, which was great for my team.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I'd love to be able to integrate Float with Asana, where I manage my work, so it automatically copy bookings between those two tools.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to track bookings, plan work time, and manage daily tasks, making handling bookings and tracking work super quick and easy. It's a simple process tool that allows me to focus on project work by minimizing time spent on processes.

  ### 5. Clear, Real-Time Team Capacity Planning with Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Scheduling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

What I like best about Float is how clearly it visualizes team capacity and project allocations in real time. As an account manager, it makes it easy to see who’s available, rebalance workloads quickly, and avoid overbooking before it becomes an issue. The interface is intuitive, and the drag-and-drop scheduling saves a lot of time compared to manual planning. It’s especially helpful for keeping client projects on track while staying aligned with internal team bandwidth.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

What I dislike about Float is that reporting and customization can feel a bit limited, especially when you need more tailored insights for client-facing updates. While the core scheduling is strong, pulling more detailed analytics or exporting data in a highly specific format sometimes requires extra manual work. It would also be helpful to see deeper integrations or more flexibility in how views are configured for different stakeholder needs.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float solves the lack of visibility into team capacity and project staffing. It replaces scattered spreadsheets with a real-time view of who’s working on what and who’s available.

As an account manager, this helps me plan resources more accurately, avoid overbooking, and adjust quickly when priorities shift. The result is smoother project delivery, better utilization, and more proactive client management.

  ### 6. Easy to Switch Between Projects and People on the Report Screen

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda B. | Senior Director of Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like that I can move in and out of different projectes or people fairly quickly on the Report screen. I am a people manager as well as an individual contributor, so I have to balance views of multiple schedules and it is very easy for me to move around to get to what I need quickly.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I do not understand the Schedule page at all. The team member that is the "owner" of Float is able to look at it and know exactly what is going on, but the screen is overwhelming and I cannot make sense of it. I also really struggle when logging time, if I accidently bump my mouse or move in an incorrect way, it will log all of the time for that day even though it is not accurate. I wish there was a way to undo that when it happens.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an agency that works with billable time, it allows us to track time usage and do future capacity planning. Its really great to be able to have a tool that can do that and not rely on spreadsheets that get frequently ruined.

**Official Response from Alexandria Petigna:**

> Hi Amanda, thanks for the feedback. Glad Float is helping your agency move away from spreadsheets for capacity planning and time tracking.
- For the Schedule, I totally understand it can feel overwhelming when you're not the person who set it up. A small tip: try using filters to show just your own work, or just the team or projects you’re involved in. That can make it a lot easier to navigate. If you’re used to a calendar view, the Schedule works similarly, except that allocations can span multiple days. So a 4-hour allocation across 3 days means 4 hours per day, not 4 hours total. Our support team can walk you through your setup or send you a video if that’d help.
- On the time logging issue, that’s frustrating. Unless your team is using locked time entries, you can adjust or delete logged time to correct mistakes when you accidentally hit something you didn’t mean to.
Reach out to support (support@float.com) anytime 24/5 if you want help with your setup.

  ### 7. Intuitive Scheduling, Real-Time Profitability Insights, and Fantastic Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabir Hussain M. | Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like Float for its intuitiveness and how easy it is to use. It’s implementation is smooth; it's straightforward to add my schedule in the time-blocking section and quickly get a clear, visual view of what I have on for the day. It’s also simple to check what everyone else is working on throughout the day. It integrates well with our profitability program, which lets us see in real time how profitable certain projects are compared to others. I use it every day along with the rest of my team, and if any issues come up, customer support is fantastic at making sure they’re resolved promptly.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Float’s least helpful feature is probably that, once items are synced from my calendar, they can’t be moved around within the schedule. Sometimes I want to place a timed meeting between two other untimed tasks to block out that time, but I can’t reposition the meeting if it’s stuck at the bottom of the day. Aside from that limitation, Float has been fantastic for my everyday use.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com helps us manage team availability, project workloads, and upcoming deadlines in a clear, reliable way. It takes the guesswork out of scheduling by giving us an accurate view of who’s available, who’s at capacity, and what work is coming up next. As a result, we can spot potential bottlenecks earlier, avoid overbooking, and plan ahead with much more confidence. Overall, it leads to a smoother workflow and a better use of our team’s time.

  ### 8. A Tool for Managing Resources Efficiently

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nihar S. | Client Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I’ve been using Float for a couple of months since we switched from Timely, and it’s been a noticeable upgrade. The user experience feels intuitive, so it’s easy to navigate and manage time efficiently. One of my favorite features is being able to schedule time and view the entire team’s timesheets in one place. That setup makes tracking simpler and gives better visibility into team workloads, which helps us stay organized and keep on top of our tasks. There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, Float becomes a very effective tool for resource management.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

While Float is a great tool overall, there are a few areas I find challenging. To start, the initial setup and learning how to use all the features can feel a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re new to this type of software, and it definitely takes some time to get comfortable with everything. In addition, the platform can sometimes feel a little slow when loading or updating, which is frustrating when you’re trying to move quickly. Lastly, I wish the reporting options were more detailed, since that would make it easier to generate more specific insights around time tracking and overall project progress.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resource Allocation and Planning: Float provides a clear view of team availability, making it easier to distribute work effectively. This helps ensure no one is overloaded and that resources are used efficiently.

Time Tracking: Float simplifies tracking time across different projects and tasks. It helps maintain accurate work-hour records, which is important for billing, payroll, and overall project management.

Project Management: By combining time tracking with project management, Float supports keeping projects on schedule and within budget. It lets users set deadlines, monitor progress, and manage timelines more smoothly.

Visibility and Reporting: Float generates detailed reports that show how time and resources are being used. This makes it easier to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.

Efficient Time Tracking: Float makes logging work hours straightforward, reducing errors and helping ensure my timesheets stay up to date. As a result, I can manage my tasks better and meet deadlines more consistently.

Better Project Management: With Float, I can track project progress and handle deadlines without friction. It keeps me organized and focused, which helps me complete projects on time and within budget.

Improved Resource Management: Float shows how my team’s time is being allocated, so I can make better decisions about who should work on what and avoid overloading team members.

Detailed Reporting: Float’s reporting tools provide useful insights into how we use time and resources, helping us spot opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.

  ### 9. Intuitive Visual Scheduling That Simplifies Resource Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

What I like most about Float is its highly intuitive visual interface. It gives me immediate clarity on team capacity and project timelines at a glance, so it’s easy to see what’s happening without digging through details. The drag-and-drop functionality makes schedule changes quick and seamless. Overall, it removes much of the usual complexity of resource management and helps us stay organized and proactive, without the typical administrative overhead.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

If I had to pick one thing, it would be the notification settings. I wish there were more granular controls to customize alerts for specific project updates. Additionally, the mobile app could be more optimized for editing schedules, as it currently feels more like a viewing tool than a management one.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float has solved the constant struggle of manual resource planning for me. Rather than relying on static spreadsheets, I now have a live view of my team’s capacity in real time, which helps prevent over-allocation and keeps projects on track for on-time delivery. It’s also significantly reduced the time I spend on administrative scheduling, so I can focus more on actual project strategy instead of managing the calendar.

  ### 10. Intuitive Interface and Effective Task Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea G. | Post Producer, Motion Pictures and Film, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I use Float.com in the office to manage daily tasks. I like its UX/UI design and useful tools like automatic calculation of allocated hours and time off management. The interface is simple and straightforward, there's no need to enter formulas to do calculations like on Excel. I find it practical and intuitive. Also, setting up Float.com was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Working in production and post-production, I would like a tab dedicated to a specific project, where I can individually manage a project timesheet with the progress of ongoing work for each project. I would like to be able to allocate personnel and update the timesheet with the progress status to keep the managers aligned.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com is a more dynamic and intuitive alternative to Excel for managing daily tasks, with a simple and straightforward interface that doesn't require formulas for calculations. I love the UX/UI design and useful tools like automatic calculation of allocated hours.

  ### 11. Intuitive Interface, Perfect for Team Scheduling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mika K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I use Float.com to receive tasks and scheduling from my project managers at a design agency. I love that it gives me a clear overview of who is working on what and what project codes are connected to my work. The ability to see when I and others can have holidays is extremely helpful. I find Float.com very intuitive, and it’s easy to filter different roles and projects. Since we are mid-sized teams that sometimes work together, I can easily choose which groups, roles, projects, and people I want to view. This makes it simple to see who in the other team might be involved and who I will work with in the upcoming weeks. As a designer, I use quite limited functions on Float.com, but I have nothing that needs improvement. It's a great step up compared to the previous project management tools we've used, and the overviews are fantastic. Switching was very easy for me as a user.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

There is almost nothing i dislike.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com gives me a clear overview of tasks and schedules, making it easy to filter roles and projects. It's intuitive for managing who I'm working with and plan holidays.

  ### 13. Intuitive Project Management with Visual Appeal

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matilda L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I use Float.com at my agency to manage creative time and as a project management tool. I find it really useful because it allows us to see who has capacity within the business and expedites work where needed. Float.com is easy to use, and visually, it makes sense even to people who aren’t so technologically savvy. Within Float.com, I appreciate being able to see the visibility of all arms and disciplines of the business. This feature helps us create more volume of work to go through quickly and easily. I also like that Float is very intuitive, which made the onboarding process short and easy for most people within the business.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Sometimes I find it tricky if people have different permissions to move items around in Float.com. But I think that's something we need to solve internally.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to manage our creative time, see who has capacity, expedite work, and improve project management efficiency.

  ### 14. Efficient Resource Management, Lacks AI Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff H. | EVP, Director of Creative Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I primarily use Float.com for resource management, and I love the way we can forecast and look ahead to see what people are working on weeks or months in advance. I really like the user interface; it's easy to scroll, understand, and quick to get. I appreciate the ability to quickly see what people are working on. I like being able to group people into different teams or categories, so I can quickly filter and select among different teams. The setup was pretty easy and smooth, especially since we're using it in a basic capacity, and the admin support was great.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

We don't use the full project management capabilities, and it feels a bit expensive for how we're using it. It probably wouldn't feel that way if we used it holistically, but the pricing is kind of tricky. I wish Float.com had more AI features built in. Some newer tools are more responsive, like suggesting available people for tasks. I haven't seen much innovation from Float.com in that area.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that Float.com lets us forecast and see what people are working on weeks in advance. The visual layout is easy to scroll, understand, and quick to access.

  ### 15. Visual and Easy, but Integrations Could Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like that on Float.com I can divide the planning by departments, such as security and professional services, which is a positive thing. I also enjoy the integration with Outlook, as it allows me to see if an engineer is busy or has meetings, which is very convenient. Additionally, I love how visual the system is, allowing me to easily see the weeks or even up to two weeks and know which schedules are already booked and which are not. I also find it quite easy to use, as when there is a new engineer I can add them to the group without complications.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I would like there to be an integration between Autotask and Float.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to see which engineers are available and which are not. If I'm stuck with a project, I can see who can replace someone who is busy. I like that it is visual and allows me to see the engineers' schedules to plan better.

  ### 16. Intuitive Scheduling and Seamless Integrations That Streamline Our Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Being able to easily view everyone’s work schedule makes it much simpler to allocate resources and support colleagues more quickly. The UI is intuitive and straightforward to understand, and the ability to integrate our company systems into the website helps streamline our workflow. I’ve experienced very minimal performance issues overall. I can’t comment on the website’s pricing since I’m simply a user at our company and don’t deal directly with finances, but I do believe it’s a valuable investment for companies to make.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

There isn’t much to dislike about Float, given its simple nature and straightforward use case.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personally, being able to view my colleagues’ schedules helps me understand their availability for the week and see what jobs they’re currently working on. It also makes it easier to reach out with questions about their work, especially if I’m assigned to the same project.

  ### 17. Effective Workforce Scheduling with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brianne A. | Senior Associate Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like that I can assign people time in a day to work on one of my projects. It also lets me put in comments and assign work by project numbers so that people see exactly what project they're gonna be working on that day.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I don't like the aspect of Float.com where it's too easy to accidentally delete someone else's information. Sometimes things are just too easy to remove, and there should be some extra fail safes for that. It's hard for me to see if something was previously there and who removed it. I'd like to be able to see who added time to somebody so that I know who to follow-up with.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com helps me track in and out of office time for myself and my team, making it easy to see when colleagues are unavailable for scheduling fieldwork.

**Official Response from Alexandria Petigna:**

> Hi Brianne, I’m glad to hear that Float is helping you schedule your team’s time out in the field. I wanted to drop you a note to say thank you for offering us the feedback on deleting items. I will pass this along to see if there are any ways to prevent accidental deletions. Generally speaking, we pride ourselves on how easy it is to move things around in Float, but that can come with drawbacks, as you mentioned above.

  ### 18. Intuitive Project Tracking with Smooth Outlook Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosaria C. | English Language, Environmental Geography and Contemporary History Tutor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like that Float.com is fairly intuitive for my company to start using and it makes it easy for us to identify how we are using our time. With our different business fields and projects, it simplifies time allocation for tasks. It's also easier to understand how much time and budget each task takes in our broad and varied projects, helping us estimate where resources go.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I do think sometimes the integration with Factorial does not work that well. Like, quite often, I log my time, and it's not immediately reflected on Factorial. And sometimes for days, So I guess I will look into that.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to track projects and billable hours, eliminating manual tracking. It syncs with my Microsoft calendar, making it easy to manage resources and understand task time and budget usage.

  ### 19. Effortless Project Planning and Collaboration with Powerful Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konjengbam M. | BDR, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I love this platform for its capability to plan and schedule the timeline of project. This platform improves the efficiency and allows teams to better collaborate to complete the project within the time frame. The best part I like about this platform is reporting that allows better and informed decision making that is critical for the organization. This platform have a less complex user interface which is comfortable for users. Other than this the handling of project life cycle can be tracked and managed very efficiently with this platform.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I love most part about this platform but I wish that the android application was as efficient like the desktop version. I also feel that an user needs to spend a good amount of time on this platform to be very efficient in using this platform.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform assist a lot in managing project life cycle and completion of project within the stipulated time. It allows better collaboration and delegation of task to improve efficiency of the task.

  ### 20. Steep Learning Curve and Usability Issues

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolyn W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I guess I like that it's easy to log in through my Google, so I don't have to save another password.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I don't really like the tool. It's really hard to use, honestly. It's hard to understand what I'm allocated to for the week. It's hard for producers to actually input and move people's time allocations around. There's a steep learning curve to getting it to work the way we want. The data is never really trustworthy because it's always off. Getting reports has way too much information, and it's never in the format that I want. The calendar view is very hard to navigate and understand. It's not a good tool.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com helps us understand which resources are over or under-allocated and lets us track project health from a budget perspective.

**Official Response from Alexandria Petigna:**

> Hi Carolyn, thank you for this honest feedback. Although it’s a bit tough to hear, it means a lot.

It’s great that Float is helping your team with resource allocation and project budget tracking. I want the rest of the experience to feel just as useful.

The difficulties you’ve described with navigation, reporting, and the calendar view are really helpful for our product team to hear. I hope that, with some of our upcoming roadmap items, we’ll make Float easier for you to learn and use.

In the meantime, I’d love to help your team get more out of the tool. Drop us a line at support@float.com, and the team will set up a walkthrough tailored to your team’s workflow.

I appreciate you sharing this with us.

  ### 21. Simplicity and Mobile Access on the Go

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like the simplicity of Float.com and how useful it is overall. The mobile app is great because it allows me to see what I'm doing each day, especially on my commute to work. It's very smooth to use, and the initial setup was really easy since I could just sign in using Google.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

When I click on a project, it gives me the job details like number and time assigned instead of taking me straight to a list of everyone booked on the project. I currently have to copy and paste the number into the search bar to see who's on a project.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to see my daily tasks and identify project managers quickly. Its simplicity and mobile app allow me to check my schedule on the go.

  ### 22. Easy UI and Clear Workload Visibility, with Solid Integrations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liangshi C. | Environmental Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

It lets my manager see what my workload looks like, so I’m not overloaded. The UI is easy to use, and the integrations with the company system are satisfactory. Performance hasn’t been an issue for me. Pricing isn’t my concern.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I like everything about it. Maybe you could increase the price a little bit, just to make my boss pay an arm and a leg.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems overall. It would be helpful if it could link with Fairwork NSW, so they’re aware that some staff aren’t being paid properly.

  ### 23. Clear, Visual Project and Resource Planning Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kushneet K. | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I use on a daily basis to plan for projects and resource allocations. It helps me track past spent hours and future allocated hours, and match against budget burn rate. The clear visual representation is easy to digest and adjust.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

My Float is stuck at the "split" option and I have reached out to support already. I tried their solution but that hasn't worked.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning for projects against available resources has become a cakewalk with Float. We can easily check reports to see how it is affecting budget available.

  ### 24. Fantastic Color-Coded Blocks for Visual Thinkers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle W. | Associate Copywriter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Honestly it's the great colour coding of my blocks. I'm a visual person, it's fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Scrolling horizontally across the schedule assumes that someone is using a track pad or has an apple mouse.
I can't click and drag to shift it across. Or alternatively, there's no bar to drag, or hover buttons on either side to move to different weeks.
The little white arrow in the grey box at the top right only allows me to go forward as well.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying organised and hitting deadlines. Basically: time management.

  ### 25. Helps me plan patient follow ups and content work in one schedule

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content. I tried Float.com to plan my clinic work and content work in one place. I created small projects for patient follow-ups and content planning, and blocked time for things like diet notes and patient guidance. This helped me see how my day is split between clinic work and content work.

The calendar view made it easy to place work into time blocks. When clinic timings changed, I could just drag the blocks and adjust the schedule instead of planning again from start. This is useful because clinic timings change often.

The first setup was simple and did not take much time. I could start using it without doing anything complicated and plan my week in a simple way.

I also liked keeping clinic work and content work in separate projects. It made my routine work easier to manage and did not feel heavy to use. So Overall, it helped me plan my work in a more organized way.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

One small thing I noticed is that when I was adding my first project and time blocks, I had to click around a bit to find the right options. It is not confusing, but the first setup takes a little time.
Apart from that, the planning view worked well for my clinic and content work, and I did not face any real problems in normal use.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Float.com, it was hard to clearly see how much time was going into clinic work and how much time was going into content work. Things were planned in different places, so it was easy to miss or overlap tasks.
Float.com helped by putting my work into one simple schedule. I could place patient follow-ups, diet notes, and patient education content into time blocks and see my day in a clearer way. This made it easier to plan my work and avoid doing too many things at the same time.
It also helped me separate clinic tasks and content planning into small projects, so I could see where my time was going. This gave me better control over my routine work and made planning feel more organized and less stressful.

  ### 26. User-Friendly and Efficient Task Management with Float

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

What I appreciate most about Float is its user-friendly interface and accessibility. It provides a clear and efficient way to understand assigned tasks, and the use of color coding makes it easy to distinguish and organize different tasks effectively.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

One aspect I find less favorable about Float is that it can sometimes feel limited in customization options, especially when managing complex schedules or projects.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float helps solve the problem of managing and organizing workloads efficiently. It provides a clear overview of team schedules, task assignments, and project timelines, which reduces confusion and overlapping responsibilities. This benefits me by improving time management, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring that tasks are completed in an organized and timely manner.

  ### 27. Clean, Easy Weekly Planning—But Copy/Paste and Individual View Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis B. | Senior Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I can plan my week using my mouse, which makes it quick and convenient. The dashboard is easy to navigate and has a clean, minimalist design, and I really like that.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I cannot copy and paste a previous activity easily into another day. Also, the individual's view is not that satisfying.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to show my line manager how busy I am and which activities I’m working on. It also helps me organize my schedule, including my plans and holidays.

  ### 28. Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Scheduling with Great Google Calendar & Jira Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Using Float is incredibly easy, intuitive, and smooth. The drag-and-drop interface, along with the keyboard shortcuts, saves me a lot of time day to day. I also really like the integrations with Google Calendar and Jira, and I find the time tracking useful as well. The different colours make it very easy to differentiate between projects at a glance. I also like being able to add time off in Float, because it helps me communicate availability clearly to the wider team and makes scheduling easier overall.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

The only downside for me is that it doesn’t integrate with Harvest, which is a very popular time-tracking tool.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling, resourcing, and managing expectations—it’s saving us time, money, and mental bandwidth.

  ### 29. Fast, Easy Scheduling with Great Filters and Daily Summaries

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin M. | Director of Graphic Arts, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Fast and easy scheduling, the filters, the daily summaries, pricing, quick onboarding, sharing a link to specific projects.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Would like to see a calendar view in a block format. Right clicking to split a task is challenging/not user friendly. Would be nice to add in custom fields.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to balance workloads across several departments as a tool on our resource management team. We also log employee time off across several departments to track coverage and availability.

  ### 30. Smooth, Easy-to-Use UI That Makes Projects a Breeze

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

We needed a scheduling software desperately and float was extremely easy to setup and onboard with everyone in the team. The UI is very easy to use and visually everything is very smooth. It also offers great insights as to how much time you spend on certain tasks, highlighting which areas need to be streamlined. We use float every day, week in week out so it's very useful to us.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Not as much a dislike but it would be great to have further depth to information you can associate with each project so we can use float for other purposes other than scheduling too.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a scheduling software to streamline our planning process and float was perfect for the job. We also needed to highlight which areas of the company required change to become more efficient and it has helped a lot with that.

  ### 31. Effortless Scheduling and Team Coordination with Float

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

What I like most about Float is how easy it is to use and how clearly it shows everyone’s schedule. It makes project planning straightforward because I can quickly check who’s available and what tasks are coming up. I also appreciate that we can update and track leave, so we always know who’s on holiday or taking time off. On top of that, it integrates well with other tools and keeps everything organized in one place, which helps the team stay aligned and makes collaboration smoother.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I don’t really dislike anything in particular about Float. It’s straightforward to use and does what I need it to do. Every now and then there are small things that could be improved, but overall it works well and keeps planning and scheduling simple.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float helps me see everyone’s schedule and plan work easily. It shows who is available, who is on leave, and what tasks are coming up. This saves time, keeps the team organized, and makes planning projects smoother.

The platform eliminates the need for meetings by allowing information sharing, which is really helpful. Additionally, the initial setup was very smooth, and I liked how easy it was to add names and new colleagues into the platform.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I sometimes find it can be too easy to delete things in error.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com for resourcing and logging time, helping me plan my day and reducing the need for meetings by sharing information on the platform.

  ### 33. Intuitive Tool That Enhanced Our Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlotte G. | Operations Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I really like that Float.com is simple to use and not over complicated. I can get the reports, data, and insights that I need very quickly. It also looks good, which is important for our creative agency. Our users are really drawn to the nice visual user experiences.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Project planning and estimating would benefit from a quicker view of spend, especially when putting budgets to tasks. Although phases have been introduced, setting it up quickly isn't particularly efficient for us.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com centralizes project scheduling across multiple locations, offering a clear view of business activities. It helps instruct our team on daily tasks and collaborations, simplifying project estimating and progress tracking.

  ### 34. Effortless Scheduling and Team Coordination Made Simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RASHAB K. | Research Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

It's simple to schedule and block out the day, and it's also easy to keep track of everyone's schedules and see what has been completed. We can plan out a week's worth of work, and everything is straightforward to understand.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I find the search functionality on the app quite frustrating. When I need to quickly look up a specific past issue and see who it was assigned to, there really isn’t an easy way to do it. The app also isn’t very beginner friendly. New users tend to have a lot of questions before they start feeling comfortable using it.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use Float as a resource management and work management tool. It allows us to monitor completed tasks, track what is still pending, and see which resources remain available for allocation. This makes scheduling our resources much easier. While the time tracking feature is useful, it isn't essential for us since we rely on other software for that purpose.

  ### 35. Intuitive Resource Planning That Keeps Teams Aligned

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sahil P. | AI Automation Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Float.com provides an intuitive and visual way to manage team capacity and resource planning. The timeline-based interface makes it easy to see availability, prevent over-allocation, and plan projects efficiently. It helps teams stay aligned and improves overall utilization without unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

While Float.com is excellent for resource planning, it can feel limited for teams looking for advanced project management or detailed task-level tracking. Some reporting and customization options could also be more flexible for complex use cases.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com helps solve resource allocation and capacity planning challenges by providing clear visibility into team availability and workloads. It reduces scheduling conflicts, prevents burnout, and allows better planning across projects, leading to improved productivity and more predictable delivery timelines.

  ### 36. Clear Team Schedule Visibility Makes Planning Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subhajit B. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

It’s easy to visualize my colleagues’ schedules. As a team lead, being able to quickly see their daily or weekly availability clearly makes my job much easier.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

There’s a lack of automation. I want to email my teammates to ask them to update and fill in their float schedules, but it would be much more helpful if an automated feature could handle this for me.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com makes planning and scheduling projects much easier for me. What we previously tracked in a spreadsheet can now be managed easily in Float, and developers can update their own schedules themselves. We just need to verify.

  ### 37. User-Friendly Time Tracking with a Small Integration Gap

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillemette G. | Business Ethics and Human Rights Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I really love how user-friendly Float.com is. I never have to look around for things very much, and I can just drag and drop things. The report features are really good, and everything is just very straightforward. The initial setup was super easy and straightforward. I didn't even have to do a training, as it was already set up by my team.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

It would be great if Float.com and my Outlook calendar could sync so that certain meetings would already be registered on my float.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to track my time on projects, helping me calculate project profitability and plan team availability effectively.

  ### 38. Lightweight and Easy to Use, but Team Setup Takes Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davide C. | Security Network Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

This tool is lightweight and easy to learn, making it simple to use on a daily basis. I have relied on it for nearly three years in my work, and it helps me quickly assign time for myself and my team across various projects. It also gives me a clear overview of which tasks are currently being worked on, allowing me to stay organized and efficient. The Outlook Calendar integration is excellent and can be set up with minimal effort!

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Getting everything set up for the entire team can be a bit time-consuming.
Admins need to stay on top of new additions/updates or users risk falling behind with logging and/or reporting

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float is helping my team report on the time invested in each project as well as scheduling work. I am able to autonomously create tasks in the projects that are assigned to me and thus can keep track of the different phases. The log time functionality helps me understand in retrospect how much effort was invested during each task. Also, the Outlook integration helps in seeing which of my coworkers - that are assigned to the same project as me - may be available in the coming days based on their schedule

  ### 39. The simplest tool to log my time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashleigh Z. | Senior UI designer / Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I can pull other projects that are not currently in my schedule, making it seamless and hassle-free. My project manager knows exactly what's happening daily. It makes my everyday life so much easier and less time spent on admin.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Honestly, nothing. I've found it to be the best experience compared to other admin portals.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves communication between myself and project managers. It also helps me keep an eye on my team's capacity, helps me delegate to make work-life fair. As a lead, the constant need to keep on top of tasks weighs heavily on my mind and this tool has really eased my mental clutter.

  ### 40. Great resourcing dashboard - easy to set up and maintain

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve H. | Head of Hybrid Cloud, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

It is fast and simple to set up and then edit projects.
The ability quickly set up recurring events saves a lot of time.
Our general user experience is good, as they each have an ability to view resourcing through different lenses which is impactful.
As a leadership team we have very good visibility across shared resource pools.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

There are no major flaws.
For what it costs, the limitations are quite easy to work around.
Forgetting to quit the 'Delete' button has caused some issues when editing in a hurry, but Ctrl+Z fixes almost all of these.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple resources working across multiple customers and work streams, so need to have an easy reference guide to minimise potential for error.
It gives our leadership team a clear view of individual workloads, and potential resource contention, so that we can take prompt action with a frequently changing customer demand.
It helps our Head of Finance to predict revenue streams from services work.

  ### 41. Float - A Great Tool for Managing Team Resources

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiren M. | Technical Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Float is a great resource management tool that makes scheduling and planning easy. The interface is simple and easy to use, even for beginners. I love how you can quickly see your team’s availability and avoid scheduling conflicts. The ability to assign tasks based on your team's workload helps keep things organized and on track.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Float can feel a bit complicated for smaller teams or simpler projects. The price is a little high, especially if you only need basic features. Some customization options for reports could be better, and the platform can sometimes slow down during busy periods. Also multi currency option is missing. Also it should support third party integrations and there should be APIs to directly access data.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest challenges in resource management is keeping track of everyone's availability. Float solves this problem by allowing you to easily view the schedules of all team members in one place. This helps you avoid overlapping tasks and ensures that no one is double-booked, making your workflow more efficient. Float makes this process easier by letting you plan and assign tasks based on your team’s real-time availability. This ensures that work is evenly distributed, preventing burnout and improving productivity.

  ### 42. Robust Project Planning with Float, Excellent for Mid-Sized Companies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpan D. | Brand Protection Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I find Float to be an excellent tool for project management and task tracking within my organization. It significantly enhances our efficiency by allowing us to easily add and log multiple tasks and manage our schedules transparently across all levels, from analysts to CEOs. The visibility it provides to higher management and colleagues about daily tasks and time utilizations is invaluable. Float also excels in generating reports, which makes tracking team activities and projects straightforward. I appreciate Float's capability to automate scheduling tasks, which alleviates the need to perform these tasks manually, saving us a significant amount of time. The software's high level of customization makes it preferable over others we've used, such as Timely, ensuring our reporting and planning processes are both comprehensive and clear. Float's ability to reduce time spent on tasks by over 50% due to its automation features is another huge benefit. Furthermore, even though we don’t integrate external systems with Float, its wide range of built-in features is more than adequate to meet our needs, making it a self-sufficient tool. The software's robust project planning and reporting functionalities are key reasons why I would choose Float again. Overall, Float has proven to be a superior solution for our needs, and I would confidently recommend it to both large and midsize organizations, rating it a perfect 10 for its effective task management capabilities and beneficial features.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I found some initial setup issues with Float, such as lagging, since it is a web-based platform rather than an application. This led to a slow response when logging time for specific tasks, sometimes causing the page to become unresponsive for up to ten to fifteen minutes. Additionally, I would appreciate more customization in reporting, as currently, Float restricts reports to daily, weekly, and monthly time frames. It would be beneficial to pull reports for entire years or multiple years to better identify workflow gaps. Integration with tools like Microsoft Power BI or Metabase for dashboard creation would also enhance its functionality.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float for project planning and reporting, streamlining daily task tracking and management visibility. It automates scheduling, reducing manual repetitive tasks, and boosts team efficiency, significantly cutting time spent on research and analysis.

  ### 43. Float Makes Planning Easy, But Project Access Could Be Smoother

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy G. | Lead Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Float has revolutionised the way we work in terms of forward planning and capacity planning. It's been great. We can see ahead and pivot if needs be. It was really easy to set up and use, the whole team are using it.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I wish there was a way to request access to a project if you're not already added to it rather than having to message that team member separately. Having that little feature would save time.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float solved our forward planning issues. Previously we used Monday and it was difficult to see what projects were coming up and move them if needs be. Float gives us a view of the days/weeks/months ahead and allows us to plan time in effectively. Each Monday we sit down and look at the week ahead and it's so simple to move things around. I especially love the fact that we can assign a budget to a project/task and monitor that as the work progresses.

  ### 44. Float - From a Daily User's Perspective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William P. | Accounting Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

We use float on a daily basis at work to create a daily agenda for each member of the team. It is very handy having pre-set different job types that can all be colour coded. I also like the notes section being hidden until you click in so that it is presented neatly. I also like that you can create a custom schedule dashboard that i can filter with certain peoples calendar's so that it isn't cluttered

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

It don't like the layout when you are working over your hours for that day. I understand that it is done like that to show that you are working over your time but it doesn't look nice and promotes cramming jobs in even though they might take longer

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a centralised hub to create agendas that we are all familiar with at work, where different members of the team can add things to your calendar quickly and easily. It is also very good for seeing a large volume of different people's agendas while still being able to filter it to make it easy on the eye.

  ### 45. Float’s Intuitive UI Sets a New Standard for Design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Viven J. | Online Brand Protection Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

In my opinion, the UI/UX team at Float has truly perfected the page design. Every element, including the icons, clearly conveys its function, making the interface highly intuitive. The layout is not cluttered; instead, it achieves an excellent balance between functionality and aesthetics.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I would really appreciate it if the team could add a delete button to the log time section. When deleting a time entry for a specific day, it would be helpful if the system asked whether we want to apply the same deletion to the entire week or month. Additionally, Float currently does not prompt to update the Schedule section when we increase the logged time in the Log section. It would be a great improvement if increasing logged time in one section automatically reflected in the Schedule section as well.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, we relied on a timer to log our time, which required us to manually start and stop it. This process was quite inefficient, as we constantly had to check the application to ensure it was actually recording our hours. I find that Float offers a much better approach, allowing us to schedule our tasks and log them for an entire month in advance. This not only saves time and effort but also helps us manage our workload more effectively. It's truly a lifesaver.

  ### 46. Excellent for Team Planning, But Mobile and Load Times Need Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vedshri M. | Research Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

The best thing about float is it's log time, schedule, project plan visuals and it makes easy to schedule task on it. Seriously, for day to day management it's an best software/app. It helps me avoid team burnout and the utilization reports make tracking billable time and planning future tasks way less painful. Float just takes the stress out of figuring out who's working on what or what schedule i have for future.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Float offers a good interface on the web, but its mobile experience feels too limited for handling detailed management tasks. Additionally, the loading times on the web version can be frustrating, as it sometimes takes ages for Float to load.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It prevents the constant scrambling and guesswork involved in assigning work. It shows a real time, color coded view of utilization, allowing my manager to proactively rebalance workload. By accurately tracking and reporting on both billable and non-billable hours, it also helps my manager set more precise project prices.

  ### 47. Intuitive, Visual Project Management with Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberto P. | Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Float is clean, intuitive, and visually clear for managing projects and team capacity. The drag-and-drop scheduling makes it easy to see who’s doing what and when, and the integration with tools like Slack, Google Calendar, and Asana keeps everything connected. It’s great for quick planning and forecasting workloads without getting bogged down in heavy project-management detail.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

The reporting and analytics could be more robust, it’s hard to drill down into project profitability or time-tracking insights beyond surface-level data. Permissions and user roles can feel limited for larger teams, and the mobile experience is less smooth than the desktop version. Sometimes updates or edits take a few clicks more than expected, which slows things down when managing multiple projects.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many project-based firms struggle to know at any given moment: who is free?, who is over-booked?, what’s upcoming leave or part-time availability? Float gives a live view of availability, including time off, working hours, and leaves, so you avoid double-booking or unexpected overload.

  ### 48. Essential for Resource Scheduling with Powerful, Intuitive Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca S. | Platform Operations Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Float is an incredibly intuitive tool for managing resource scheduling and project allocation. It gives a clear, real-time view of how my team is allocated and helps ensure a balanced workload across projects. Over the years, the platform has evolved significantly, adding reporting features that are both accurate and easy to use. The reports provide great visibility on capacity, utilization, and forecast, allowing me to plan efficiently and make data-driven decisions. It has truly become an essential part of our daily operations

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

One limitation I’ve found is related to reporting and data export. While it’s possible to export active team schedules, there’s currently no way to generate monthly reports for each activity that include archived team members. This makes it harder to analyze historical data or build complete performance reports over time. It would be very helpful if Float allowed exporting data that includes both active and archived users, especially for long-term reporting and forecasting purposes.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float helps us efficiently manage resource allocation and project planning across multiple teams and services. Now, we can quickly visualize availability, track workloads, and forecast upcoming needs with accuracy. This improves scheduling efficiency, supports better decision-making, and reduces the risk of overallocation or idle time. It also provides valuable insights for management reporting and strategic planning.

  ### 49. Manageable and portative

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonas S. | Service planenr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

We've been using Float for our team planning and scheduling needs, and it's been a great fit.
One of the standout features is how easy it is to access the app on the go.
The mobile integration is smooth and reliable, making it simple to check schedules, make updates, or review plans directly from a phone, no hassle.
Float offers just the right amount of features for our needs.
It’s not overloaded with unnecessary complexity, which makes onboarding and daily use straightforward for everyone on the team.
The interface is clean, intuitive, and helps us stay organized without getting in the way.
Overall,

Float has streamlined our planning process and made team coordination much easier. Highly recommended for teams looking for a lightweight yet powerful scheduling tool.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

one area where Float could improve is in handling daily processes within larger projects.
It would be helpful if it were easier to assign recurring or sequential tasks across multiple team members within a single project. Right now, that kind of planning takes a bit more manual effort than we’d like.
Overall, Float is a reliable and streamlined solution, but a few enhancements in project task management would make it even better.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Float, coordinating tasks across multiple people often meant juggling spreadsheets or scattered calendar invites. Float brings everything into one place, making it easy to see who’s doing what and when.
The ability to access Float on the go is a big win. Whether we're checking schedules during a commute or making quick updates from a phone, the mobile integration keeps us connected and responsive.

  ### 50. Float - A Reliable Tool for Streamlining Scheduling and Team Planning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niraj K. | QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

As a QA, I really like how Float gives me a clear picture of my workload and testing timelines. It is super easy to see on which project I am currently assigned to, and what projects I will be handling in the future. I also like that Float can be synced with Zoho People and if I apply a leave on Zoho, it automatically gets reflected in the Float.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

It can take some time to get accustomed to how everything is structured, especially if you are managing multiple projects with different timelines. It would also be good if Float can be integrated with some QA-specific tools like Jira, as it would make tracking QA tasks even smoother.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float has helped our team plan the project and testing windows much more effectively. Before using it, we regularly had overlaps with the development sprints or delays because testing timelines and resources weren’t clear. Now, everyone knows when the testing is happening and how much capacity we have for it. It has made our release cycles more predictable and reduced a lot of last-minute resource scrambling.
