This product has evolved quite nicely over the years, with them going to full HTML5 from their Flash version, and making conversions from Flash projects relatively painless. And the mobile-responsiveness of the product continues to get better. What do you dislike about FlippingBook? There were many more issues in the early Flash days. IMO the HTML5 version matured pretty quickly, and I have no reservations recommending it wholeheartedly. They published printed catalogues for many of their sales. I took the .pdf of each catalogue and create a "3D Catalogue" from that .pdf. The end result looks great. FlippingBook is a very unique, yet familiar user experience. It is easy for the user to navigate between pages using the interactive Table of Contents, and embedded content (such as videos), and it's different from other learning assets, making it very memorable. It's also great to see the stats and analytics to track which of our offerings are the best performing by view count, pages where users spent the most or least amount of time, and more. Currently, my team creates PDFs using other software, then we upload to FlippingBook and add interactivity. Secondly, my team had to find workarounds for including video assets as FlippingBook currently only allows for YouTube, Vimeo, and Wistia, though I saw a notice that there is a planned enhancement that allows users to embed mp4 videos into their books. My team designs and develops sales enablement assets for sales professionals selling SAAS products. Before FlippingBook, my team was authoring content in other eLearning tools, often which leads to learner burnout just by overuse of one modality. FlippingBook is a great way to differentiate from existing content delivery tools and allows us to create easy-to-use reference guides and visual learning paths that link to our LMS courses or include video introductions for products. The flipping book with the table of contents makes it very easy to find what you are looking for and with the ability to link to websites and content external to the book is another great feature. Finally, what I like the best is that when I make updates and revivisions to my original file and upload the updated PDF, every person I previously sent the link to, has access to the updated content. Support is instant and really, really helpful. I publish an independent, non-profit architectural magazine, small run, and rely on a flipook for each issue on our website. We don't fit the big sell, marketting, product-shifting profile that other flipbook creators are increasing geared and priced for. We are selling content, not product, a concept seemingly incomprehensible to US/Silicon Valley. I've left my old provider of flipbooks for FlippingBooks and feel a great relief. The price point is better for us. The support is better. The learning curve is easier and quicker. The fit between what FlippingBook offers and what I need is better. I'm not a developer, just a user and so far have done just the basic flip book shift from one code block to another.
