## Flinto Reviews
  ### 1. Great software to simulate animation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fine Art | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2016

**What do you like best about Flinto?**

I love the capabilities of animation for our prototypes. intuitive once you get the hang of it, Free-form animation has its good and bad qualities. Good Qualities being that pretty much any animation style you would like to add to your experience can be done, scrolling, sticky states, spinny icons. the new updated version now allows you to edit text and create additional UI to fill any gabs you come your by whilst connecting your screens.

**What do you dislike about Flinto?**

the software is still going through some growing pains it seems. it's not exactly "user-friendly" I wish the "live Preview" was more flexible as far as adjusting screen size, I have had issues when using smaller screens to test prototypes the preview state was not flexible and could not be zoomed in on or adjusted. often times "hover states" get wonky when there are multiple behaviors happening in one zone. sometimes when I add additional content to an art board after behaviors have been added, all of my visuals get wonky and warped into different parts of the page, this is incredibly annoying because I keep having to redo my animations and fix placements. It crashes on me when I have too much animations going on in one page.

**Recommendations to others considering Flinto:**

Take the time to watch ALL tutorials. They will most likely not give you exactly what you are trying to achieve, However it will give you the tools to be able to improvise and figure things out as you go.

**What problems is Flinto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are creating prototypes for our companies sothebys website redesign. clients love animations so it allows us to sell our ideas a lot more efficiently. by " be-dazzling" our prototypes

  ### 2. A pretty solid app

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam M. | ui/ux designer, web & graphic designer, and digital media generalist, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about Flinto?**

The app is quick and stable, and it's easy to use with a simple interface. I like that it has dynamic panels in the design interface.

**What do you dislike about Flinto?**

This app has fewer options and capabilities than its competitors. The lack of graphical design tools is a particular problem. It also can't import files from other apps like Sketch, which presents a problem when working in a mixed environment or with other designers.

**Recommendations to others considering Flinto:**

It's a simple and easy app to use for rapid prototyping, but you may wish to consider InVision or Sketch for a more complete solution.

**What problems is Flinto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to for rapid prototyping simple mobile interface designs. It's a quick and easy app to use.

  ### 3. Easy to Learn

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2016

**What do you like best about Flinto?**

It's easy to learn the interface, it's pretty straightforward to use. I like the mirroring as well for quick presentations. Sketch import. Great with handling a lot of screens, especially if you're just doing state to state.

**What do you dislike about Flinto?**

Not much really, I just like how more granular I could get with animation values with Principle.

**What problems is Flinto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly showing and presenting flows to stakeholders. Having an interactive prototype really helps with telling the story.

  ### 4. Direct approach to software prototyping

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taras B. | Founder, UX designer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2016

**What do you like best about Flinto?**

- A UI familiar to any Sketch user
- Mobile companion app
- Easy import from Sketch

**What do you dislike about Flinto?**

The app looks simple at first, but don't let that fool you.
Even with a few screens the prototype's complexity raises fast, so you'll have serious problems trying to debug it. This approach is quite straightforward and inelegant, but it may work for some basic apps.

**Recommendations to others considering Flinto:**

Try the demo and see if it fits your workflow.

  ### 5. Standard

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2016

**What do you like best about Flinto?**

The ability to set screens to a timer is a very useful feature.

**What do you dislike about Flinto?**

Lack of updates and communication with the user base.

**What problems is Flinto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was primarily using flinto as a tool to create a user flow and test that flow against business requirements with users as well as gather feedback.
