I feel like this software can do anything. So far, I've focused mainly on building a warehouse simulation model, and I've been able to solve every issue I had. I'm also impressed with the amount of data I can pull from the model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about FlexSim? There is a steep learning curve and I am still learning as I go. The initial training was helpful, but I still had a lot of questions as I built my first actual model. I've been very impressed with the answers.flexsim message board; I'd probably be lost without it. Since I am new to 3d simulation modeling and I have no background in coding, I definitely needed some help starting out, but I need it less as I go now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering FlexSim: Overall, I think this is great software. It works well for warehouse and manufacturing environments. Flexsim offers a really nice UI trough which simulation secenarios can be easily created. It is possible to import custom CAD files to improve the accuracy of the simulation and have a exact copy of the real process. In order to make an in depth simulation it is somehow difficult since you have to write custom code. The process flow tool is really good, once you understand it's logic. The manual is sometimes quite unclear, so it is a trial and error process. More then once I had to make suboptimal changes of the real state, in order to rapresent it in the simulation. There is often the need of having someone coding for customization. But for an engineer is enough user friendly, if there are enough GUI. But in the past the was an error that was crashing the file. But having backup files is always good for these cases. And I never lost files. Benefits, it is very customizable.
