It allows ads to be way more a way to get a click out or trafic to a desired page. **What do you dislike about Flexitive?** Flexitive does not have a robust way to report on interaction performed by the user. Ex: there is no way to know how much of a certain video the user watched, before clicking out. The global assets allow us to save time when designing something, but does not work as a "component" from products like Figma. It would be nice to have instances of global ids, as well as other features that makes it smarter. At this moment, hover interactions are very limited and would be nice to have more control so that we can create banners that works like widgets. Ex: on hover, the colour of a button changes to show it is clickable. The carousel has to be finessed, adding arrows to jump to next slides and a loading bar would be a huge upgrade to let users know that more content is a about to come up. I could list others, but here is a list of improvements. **What problems is Flexitive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Flexitive allowed me to design ads with multiple clickable cta's. By doing that we maximized the click opportunities of several placements, increasing our avg car from .13 to 0.27. ### 2. Creating child animations and utilizing design IDs as well as animated SVGs has also been very helpful in expanding our banner capabilities while maintaining best practices and optimizing delivery times. **What do you dislike about Flexitive?** There is a learning curve, not a steep one, but it takes time to adjust to, in order to begin thinking about how to best structure banners. Also, text has been our biggest hurdle. Often our creative and art directors will require or request line-breaks at different places depending on the banner layout. We mostly have to resort to creating additional text fields on those sizes and hiding the others. It would be nice if there were a way to let the text field stay the same, but adjust the line breaks either with a custom character, setting the text value to be "unique" on certain sizes, or something other than only an automated line break box. **What problems is Flexitive solving and how is that benefiting you?** At this time, the biggest benefit from Flexitive is having the dedicated support for Ad Servers as well as technical issues. These used to fall entirely on myself, but being able to have Flexitive step into that role, I can now focus on bigger picture issues, optimizations, and work. ### 5. Would be nice to create custom sizes that are not available in the platform as well as be able to create multiple versions of one size within a set. **Recommendations to others considering Flexitive:** There is a little learning curve but the interface is very intuitive, it's just a process learning where to find the tools you know you need. It can be slow to respond at times but all-in-all it is a well thought out, well organized and well developed tool that makes our lives easier for responsive design projects. I do trust that if I have any issues they will be addressed and the company cares about our success in their platform. As a designer, creating 20+ designs for 1 ad that happens to be in 20+ sizes is a huge pain point, not to mention time-consuming. With Flexitive, I'm able to trim my time down by a fraction of what would be spent in other design tools, while actually spending more time creating fresh ideas--like interactive and dynamic designs. **What do you dislike about Flexitive?** While you can export to HTML5, animated GIF, and video I wish they had the option to export to PDF for print -- for example crop marks and bleeds. **Recommendations to others considering Flexitive:** Watch the training videos -- they're short and helpful. **What problems is Flexitive solving and how is that benefiting you?** • Create 1 design that is fully adaptive to export into many sizes, based on one design in seconds. • Awesome animations that don't require overly complex animation software • Making awesome HTML5 designs that don't require any code ### 12. I've had issues exporting from programs like this only to find that DCM won't accept it. **What do you dislike about Flexitive?** The logic of the interface is not the most intuitive. It could use an overhaul to make it swifter and more intuitive. The way each ad set is stored is also not very flexible. For example, it would be of more value to be able to arrange the ad sets in folders and to move the ad set freely between existing folders. Right now each ad set is rigidly listed chronologically as you create them. And I haven't figured out an easy way to group them by Topic, in my case I would group them by Client or by campaign. **What problems is Flexitive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Flexitive has cut down our build time on HTML 5 ads in two ways. It automates a lot of basic animations that we would otherwise have had to build and then applies that to various sizes automatically. There's still some fine tuning required, but with the proper planning it is much easier for the vast majority of animated designs. Also the plethora of export options for practically every DSP is rock solid. And the exports work without hassle, such as broken links or non-working clicktags. And lastly, their customer service is very responsive. They've always responded quickly and been proactive about problem solving on every request I've made. ### 13. It allows me to get the best balance of creativity and efficiency for robust campaigns. However, if I’m on a project requiring more custom animation, I may consider using another platform. **Recommendations to others considering Flexitive:** For digital display: make duplicate layers of you’re wanting to animate something independently of the other sizes. **What problems is Flexitive solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can use live type with embedded fonts in my campaigns so I’m able to make changes quickly. I also enjoy the preview page so I’m able to send my clients previews of everything without bothering with an FTP. ### 14. Their software as a service has helped us streamline our internal workflow from both an effectiveness and an efficiency standpoint. We are now able to share previews of our assets directly with our clients and make edits in realtime, across multiple ad-units which has been dramatically effective for our clients from an impact perspective. **What do you dislike about Flexitive?** The only thing we dislike about Flexitive is that some of our competitors have learned of their software and we are no longer able to tout it as our secret sauce and a competitive advantage. **What problems is Flexitive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Flexitive allows us to design, develop, and deploy digital assets across any size display quicker, faster, more effectively and efficiently than ever before. I have a lots of elements that need to resize and they seem to have a hard time making that happen. I also wish the fonts sizes could be changed within one text box.
