Easy to navigate. Lots of exceptions and possibilities have been thought of and accounted for. The onboarding team is a must. Their training sessions are informative, the staff is knowledgeable, and the Zoom sessions are short, so I can still get things done. Can't recommend this software enough! I've used a lot of Saas software across many industries, and with time, I've been able to tell whether a company is invested in its product within a few hours of using it. Fleetio is one of the best I've seen in that regard. **What do you dislike about Fleetio?** The software can seem a little overwhelming at first, so you'll have to take the time to focus on training. While there is an option for API, it would be nice if Fleetio could offer an additional service to connect with other software or point us to another company that provides the service. **What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fleet maintenance. Checklists, making sure maintenance happens on a regular schedule. Too many steps. I used a program before and it would create work orders from issues stated on our companies DVIR system. Not having to populate issues, then make a work order. The cost is more then fair and the fact that you do not need to sign multi-year contracts makes this a no brainer. **What do you dislike about Fleetio?** So far, the only downside has been when linking to an API for your fleet tracking / ELD, it does not pull past data. So your analytics will start tracking from the day you link the accounts. **What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fleetio is providing us an easy solution for tracking all of the fleets renewables in one place. It makes it easy to see where my fleet is, their condition, and when I need to get them into maintenance service so we can spend less on repairs. **What do you dislike about Fleetio?** I haven't found many cons to Fleetio, honestly. I do wish there was a system to scan keys in and out and track who had them last. Additonally, maybe a central message board for quick updates on where trucks are going or if they have a special application they need to be saved for. Or even a "getting serviced" calendar. **What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reduces confusion as to the status of fleet. Cost analysis and tracking so we aren't overspending on vehicles that should be phased out instead. Alerts to techs to service their vehicles. It's so simple and easily accessible that they don't mind doing them. And the admin. side is instant and can keep up with issues & service as well. The notifications are awesome as well. **What do you dislike about Fleetio?** It does take a while to set up all of your vehicles and contacts. There is a lot of information to enter, but the more you put in the better it works. **What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We just had an issue where a driver wasn't doing his inspections and now his truck needs a new motor. This app adds accountability to the drivers and ability to the supervisors. Now the supervisors can tell if they are doing their inspections and what an issue is instantly. The app helps drivers have their essential documents in their hands when needed. **What do you dislike about Fleetio?** Fleetio has more options than we basically need. **What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to keep our fleet inventory on a spreadsheet that had to be manually looked over. With Fleetio, reminders are emailed for issues that need attention. We have a relatively small fleet (27 vehicles), but I can see how this would make managing a fleet of 10 or 1,000 vehicles simple. My favorite features are the inspections/issue creations - if a driver reports an issue while doing an inspection, it will automatically email a list of people and create an "issue" page in Fleetio so we can immediately address and track the issue. This makes communicating when we are not all in the same place so simple, and following up could not be easier. **What do you dislike about Fleetio?** I honestly do not have any dislikes with Fleetio. It does everything I could ask for and then some. As I use the software more and become more familiar with it, I find more and more features that we are using in our day-to-day operations. **What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Fleetio, everything related to fleet management and maintenance was either on a loose-leaf piece of paper or in somebody's head only. Issues would be reported to someone, but would not be addressed beyond that. We also did not have a single place to go to see the entire history and information for a given vehicle. The centralized billing saves time and uploading all service records is of great help as well. I can review all the provided information and evaluate the reports and make a call on the severity within minutes. Drivers do not have to go to my office or drive to the office location. The mobile app allows them to report issues from anywhere at anytime day or night! I no longer have to remember to write notes for reminders about issues it is already documented in the system. Before fleetio I may have several drivers run across the back lot and tell me about minor issues and by the time I get back to my office I have forgotten by vehicle # what the problem were. We have found lots of value in the ability to set up inspections for pre and post trips as well as having drivers submit issues directly through the app rather than having to tell someone who has to tell someone else etc. **What do you dislike about Fleetio?** I wish there was a more robust list of integrations. Specifically integration with Lytx. The inital onboarding of the software was pretty taxing to figure out how everything worked together. **Recommendations to others considering Fleetio:** Make sure that you have somoene dedicated to setup and initial training so that they can teach the rest of your organization and/or users to use it the same way. We had a lot of initial confusion between an issue and a work order when peope were submitting them. **What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're solving a lot of issues with not doing preventative maintenance on a timely scheudle that was leading to expensive repairs that would not have been necessary had we done the maintenance on time. **Official Response from Clark Maxwell:** > Thank you for submitting this review, Tanis! In the past, we used excel spreadsheets to track things such as oil changes, routine maintenance and assignments - anything is an upgrade from that! **What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our fleet is maintained with an easy to use tracking tool. I received zero instruction but was able to immediately pick it up and be able to use it. It has a lot to offer with a very low price tag monthly which makes this a no brainer. **What do you dislike about Fleetio?** The team that manages Fleetio generally cannot offer in-depth support. More often than not, if I have an issue, I get a response back saying it is what it is and that I have to live with it. With how cut -ate the pricing is, it is evident that support options are limited for the client. Overall I have not had many issues, but the few I have were not resolved to my liking. **Recommendations to others considering Fleetio:** Make sure the software does what you need from day one; upgrades are slow and change seldom happen. **What problems is Fleetio solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to manage my vehicles and set up service programs to keep the fleet on the road.
