Initial setup requires quite a lot of implementation work. Flatfile's customisability comes with the downside that it's not something that works readily out of the box. After exploring so many other options on the market, we found flat-file was the easiest to use while providing a depth of tools to our users. their support staff was always available to help work out problems and was always extremely responsive. We have been fortunate to participate in their build program and receive an extension on that program as well. We really like the product, I think the only thing we could ever ask for is a "free tier" for very low utilization and experimentation. Helps us standardize and validate data coming from a multitude of sources that have similar vocabulary, but each have thier own spin on it. this allows us to run comparable analytics and provide more immediate feedback. I appreciate the ability to configure and control the Flatfile \*Portal within our Elixir application. \*The portal is a beautiful interface that our customers use to upload their data in almost any CSV format and easily choose the attributes that will map into our database. What do you dislike about Flatfile? Not much to dislike - Flatfile provides a B2B Data exchange solution, which can be a complex problem or time investment to solve from scratch. What problems is Flatfile solving and how is that benefiting you? Flatfile allows customers to bulk import their data, which makes onboarding new customers easier. I've started to think of Flatfile for data exchange like I think about Stripe for billing. Both billing and data exchange features are not core to my product's value proposition, and it makes sense to leverage these as 3rd party tools for my software application. The documentation procedure is comprehensive and makes the workflow very easy. The design and the dashboard is well arranged and all the tools properly arranged in the most unique way. The functionalities of all the tools present in this software are unique, and the arrangement of devices and dashboards is fantastic of this software. Its data import feature is impressive and helps make your workflow easier. IT drag and drop feature is also quite interesting in making your workflow more accessible and intuitive. The platform also supports converting the document's file format to your desired file format. Easy to migrate and process the data from one server to another server. There is no preprocessing feature of data available in this; if it could have been there, the processing of documents could also take less time. For some dynamic mapping, there are lesser and limited tools available on this platform. Integration with other third-party applications is quite complex and more time-consuming. The software is saving us time in uploading heavy and more significant-sized documents for advertisements and campaigns, and generating bills, quotations, and invoices has been easier with this software. I'm too busy to be writing a CSV reader with this level of polish. I'm too attached to my sanity to have to spend time telling a customer how to format their CSV to match our setup.
