## Flashpoint Reviews
  ### 1. Flashpoint: Nothing to Dislike, with Room to Improve PDF Preview & Downloads

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beth M. | Threat and Protective Intelligence Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

What we like best about Flashpoint
1. It gives us raw, actionable threat actor visibility
Flashpoint surfaces unfiltered criminal chatter, listings, and screenshots that directly reference Chime accounts, cards, and abuse patterns. This isn’t abstract intel—it’s the same material bad actors are actively using to sell, access, or exploit accounts, which lets us see fraud *as it’s forming*, not after losses post. The recurring presence of Chime-specific offers, guides, and activation claims across underground communities shows how deep that visibility goes .

2. Strong signal-to-action pipeline for TPI and FI referrals
Flashpoint intel repeatedly converts into real internal action. It’s a primary source feeding TPI referrals tied to account takeover, synthetic ID, and ID theft investigations, and it shows up explicitly as the source in our FI workflows. That traceability matters—it means the intel isn’t just interesting, it’s *operationally useful* and defensible in review and escalation contexts .

3. Scale and consistency via API access
The Flashpoint API gives us sustained, high-volume coverage across many small, fast-moving channels that would be impossible to monitor manually. The “Small Channel Log” data demonstrates how consistently Flashpoint captures short-lived posts, resellers, and niche communities that are often where early fraud signals appear first .

4. Early warning for emerging abuse patterns
Because Flashpoint captures not just sales but *how-to guidance* (activation steps, OTP capture, card linking, bulk availability), we can spot shifts in fraud tactics early—before they fully mature into loss trends. That early visibility is critical for threat modeling and proactive controls, especially around Chime-specific workflows .

5. High relevance to Chime specifically
This isn’t generic cyber intel. The volume of direct Chime mentions, recurring product references, and targeted abuse narratives shows that Flashpoint is particularly strong in the fintech and FI threat space we care about most. That focus increases confidence that time spent reviewing Flashpoint intel has a real payoff .

We value Flashpoint because it consistently turns underground noise into usable signal—early, specific, and tied directly to Chime risk. It helps us move faster, act with more confidence, and stay ahead of how threat actors are actually operating today, not how we assume they are.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

I wouldn’t say there’s anything I dislike about Flashpoint. That said, there are a few areas where improvements would make the platform even stronger. One is the ability to preview and download PDFs shared by threat actors, which was a capability we previously had in FP tools and found very useful. Additionally, the way conversations are ingested could be improved—at times it can be difficult to clearly follow who is speaking to whom, which adds friction during analysis. Expanded language translation support, particularly for languages like Indonesian, would also significantly increase efficiency for me and my team. I know this is already being worked on, and it’s a change we’re very much looking forward to.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flashpoint is solving the problem of visibility and speed in the criminal ecosystem, and that directly benefits how I do my job.

At its core, Flashpoint gives us early, real-world insight into how threat actors are targeting Chime—what they’re selling, how they’re doing it, and which tactics are actively working. Without that visibility, we’re reacting after fraud has already happened. With Flashpoint, we’re seeing activity while it’s still forming, which lets us get ahead of it.

More specifically, Flashpoint helps by:

Surfacing threat actor activity at scale
Instead of manually chasing forums, Telegram channels, and marketplaces, Flashpoint aggregates this data in one place. That saves time and ensures we’re not missing smaller or short-lived channels where a lot of early fraud signaling happens.

Turning intelligence into action
The intelligence we get from Flashpoint regularly feeds into real investigations—TPI referrals, FI escalations, and internal fraud reviews. That means the intel isn’t just interesting; it’s actionable and directly tied to risk reduction.

Providing context, not just alerts
Seeing conversations, screenshots, and listings helps us understand *how* accounts are being compromised or abused, not just *that* they are. That context is critical for identifying patterns, refining threat models, and advising on controls.

Improving response time and confidence
Because the data is direct from threat actors, it gives us stronger confidence when we escalate issues or recommend action. We’re not guessing—we’re pointing to concrete evidence from the ecosystem itself.

The benefit to me and my team is simple: we work faster, with better signal, and with fewer blind spots. Flashpoint reduces the gap between emerging threat activity and internal response, which ultimately helps protect customers and the business more effectively.

  ### 2. Go-to tool for deep dark-web related investigations and automated monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The Ignite platform UI is easy to interact with and has a unique combination of built-in resources that help with navigation. The quick search easily narrows down what you are looking for and has options to filter across different communities/channels/types of media and authors.
The keyword alerts are quite handy to track the latest threats emerging related to anything specific you are looking for. I instantly get alerted as soon as there is a new hit in the dark web communities about anything that I set alerts for.
With quick integrations with Slack, all the alerts are sent right to my messaging, where I can review and action them quickly.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Communication channels - We have no way to discuss RFI cases directly over a chat medium; it is email only. Other competitors support dedicated analysts for cases to discuss and ask questions

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Darkweb monitoring: Helps you find several information across platforms that we usually don't get access to even with using discreet browsers. Since the team has reputed accounts in these forums/platforms, any new data that's added there can be found using their ignite platform.
Enterprise credentials: The new feature allows you to track any leaked credentials that are on sale across these darkweb platforms. They even support with purchasing them for us and send it to us. Which means no hassle or extra work to deal with threat actors or obtaining files from unknown users. Flashpoint verifies the file authenticity before sharing with us.
Telegram active monitoring: The platform has access to several private channels and can alert us about any discussion about our keyword searches, domain mentioned etc. If any channel is not tracked, we can request them to be added to their search base.
Threat intelligence: The easy automated keyword search help us get information on latest threats related to the industry. With additional intelligence about hot topics or any serious cyber threats, Flashpoint standouts in terms of providing latest information.
FP Collab: Shares latest threat intel about on-going cyber incidents and any other active threats targeting the community.

  ### 3. Cyber intel to keep your organization ahead of the incoming threats

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

It has been over 2 years since I been with Flashpoint. My opinions of FP have changed -While the product is good, I now think the strongest feature of Flashpoint are the bulletins, and community communication via email. I have found incredible value from this. Getting the heads up before it hits any main stream security media coverage has been invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The ability to make pie charts or graphs, or modify current charts or graphs on the fly. These would be amazing for easier ingestion, or reporting.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to detect fraud or incoming fraud. Being able to see blackmarket activity on social media communication platforms that we as a team cannot track alone, provides our security team a big convenience.

  ### 4. Streamlined Threat Intelligence with Strong Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie D. | Security Specialist, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

One of the key strengths is its extensive access to various sites and platforms, making data scraping highly effective. The interface is user-friendly, especially when it comes to setting up queries and alerts. It also supports strong collaboration across teams, allowing different users within the organization to view cases and alerts easily. I particularly appreciate the intelligence reports and the compromised credential alerting, which adds valuable context. Customer support has been excellent-responsive and helpful in addressing any issues that come up. Overall, integrating with Flashpoint has been seamless, and it’s now an essential part of my daily workflow.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

I wish there was a way to create and manage lists where we could store various names or values, and then simply reference the list by name in our queries. It would work similarly to lookup tables in Splunk, where you input values into rows and then reference the table directly in your search logic. This would make queries more efficient, scalable, and easier to maintain.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides deep visibility into illicit communities, forums, and platforms that are typically hard to monitor, giving early insight into potential threats. This helps us proactively track threat actors, leaked credentials, and emerging tactics before they impact the organization.

  ### 5. A platform with all the key CTI capabilities that an organization needs to stay informed.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** M S. | Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Flashpoint has arguably the largest collection of surface/deep/dark web data amongst other suppliers in the CTI space. Their analysts are one of the best in the industry. Their finished intelligence reports are very thorough and timely. Their customer specific curated reports such as RFI are very impressive. Flashpoint's customer community called FPCollab is an added benefit of using the supplier where users are able to collaborate and seek input from other peers in the industry.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Flashpoint uses Boolean logic to match supplied keywords with their datasets to trigger alerts. Their alerts are generally noisy and result in large false positives. It requires significant effort and collaboration with their CSM to fine tune these alerts to our liking. Additionally, Their IOCs are not on-par quality wise when compared to their competitors. I feel this is an area where Flashpoint could improve upon.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deep/Dark web monitoring
Enterprise Credential Monitoring
Situational awareness
Tactical intelligence

  ### 6. Go from Reactive to Proactive!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Easy to use.
So much data.
Great sales and support team.
They solved our problems, didn't just sell, sell sell.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

None, its perfect for our new cyber fraud team!

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are finding fraud as it is happening and responding before members lose data. We are on track to more than pay for the tool with the reduction in fraud losses we are seeing.

  ### 7. Top Tier Program with Phenomenal Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn E. | Director Of Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Flashpoint has been very accommodating to our company. They have gone above and beyond to help out and cater to our needs. The platform is customizable and easy to use. We utilize the program on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

There are very few downsides to Flashpoint. The only area of improvement that I could recommend would be continually updating the platforms that are monitored and they do a fairly good job with that currently.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flashpoint provides a solution that we were failing to see as a real threat. They have patched a glaring hole with their threat intelligence.

  ### 8. Great start

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marek S. | CTI manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The platform offers an impressive amount and quality of data and sources. I appreciate the advanced options for filtering data, which are particularly useful for research and setting up alerts. Communication is very clear, and I value that all declarations have real-life backing.

Overall, my experience has been excellent so far.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

At this point, almost everything is going well and I am really satisfied.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They serve as the threat intelligence provider for our team.

  ### 9. I had a great experience and have learned a lot!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

I like the search/filter features and most recently, the AI summary capability. That has really helped me filter out a lot of noise and made certain datasets a bit easier to use.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Sometimes images accessed from alerts do not load all the way for me, for some reason. Maybe just be a me problem. There is nothing major that I dislike. BUT if I could ADD something, I would love the ability to communicate with the AI feature.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flashpoint has helped me most in creating threat actor profiles for our most prominent threat actors.

  ### 10. A reliable source of truth for threat intel investigations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

For me, the biggest value Flashpoint brings is that it’s become a trusted source of truth when we’re validating incidents or potential breaches. If we see news or get alerts from other platforms about our business, a vendor, or a third party being involved in a breach, we can quickly verify it in the platform. The ability to check intelligence pulled from dark web forums and other non-public sources is a huge help in confirming whether something is credible. The daily intelligence standups are also a strong point. They help speed up our internal reporting and dissemination with some high profile or key news stories already reviewed and analysed, which saves us a bit of time.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The search functionality can feel a bit inconsistent depending on which section of the platform you’re in. Building alert queries is also a tad clunky and it’s easy to end up with very noisy results if the logic isn’t right. Managing and adjusting alerts can be confusing too, mostly because the way options are accessed has changed since moving from the old version to Ignite and it’s not very intuitive where to find things. That said though, it’s clear FP are working on this and I’ve already noticed improvements based on user feedback, so I expect it’ll get smoother over time. Another thing to note, while the daily intelligence standups are useful, they can feel quite generic at times. For example, you’ll occasionally see a lot of focus on manufacturing related incidents, which aren’t very relevant for financial services. Having those reports tailored a bit more by industry would make them even more valuable.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us validate and triage potential threats quickly, especially when it comes to third party or vendor incidents and data breaches. In a busy environment, we get a constant stream of alerts and news from different sources, and not all of it is reliable. Being able to jump into the platform to check saves us time and cuts down on chasing false positives. It also gives us better confidence when briefing stakeholders because we’re working from verified, high-quality intelligence rather than generic and scattered information online.

  ### 11. Everything you need for CTI in one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex D. | CSIRT Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Constant updates and news: Threat actors profiling, Malware IOCs, Credential breaches...

The platform is also really easy to use and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

I would like to see a section for 'Trending TTP's' on which my team could focus for building and improving detection rules.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides the information I need to perform investigations and get impactful alerts on credential breaches.

  ### 12. Flashpoint Feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael D. | Enterprise Cybersecurity Manager Threat and Vulnerability Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

My team utilizes Flashpoint for Vulnerability Management and Threat Intel

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Navigating can be overwhelming or not intuitive

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dark web, Threat intel and vulnerabilities and how they. tie together in prioritizing vulnerabilities and remediation.

  ### 13. Informative Platform for One Stop Searches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

I really like the notifications my teams and I get from Flashpoint when it hits one our keyword searches. This feature assists in our imminent response to reducing any risk to the bank. I find Flashpoint easy to use and navigate. Also the mini courses provided are very informative, and help me with different kinds of searches.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

There is very little that I dislike about Flashpoint. Sometimes it feels that when I search I don't get the results I am looking for. It could be because my searches are too broad.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flashpoint is helping with reducing risk to the bank as we are able to identify any bad actors that may be targeting the bank or individuals online to conduct fraudulent activity.

  ### 14. Easy to use scrapping/collection software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Its ability to pull data from messaging apps and forums. Then make that data easily searchable and exportable. Flashpoint also has a simple process for adding additional channels or forums that have been identified.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Currently bookmarks are limited to 20 searches, and it is not easy to organize those searches.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I primarily look at the human terrain of threat intelligence ie, positive identification of threat actors and early warning of emerging threat efforts. By putting channels and forums at my fingertips, i can easily search for additional posts from a threat actor to see if they have accidently disclosed information that can lead to actionable intelligence.

  ### 15. The best all-around Threat Intelligence tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Flashpoint is the best all-around Threat Intelligence tool. If you are new to threat intelligence, start with Flashpoint and then add additional tools and services if as needed, but Flashpoint will meet most of your needs.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

There can be a learning curve on parts of the platform and some parts of the platform have separate interfaces.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flashpoint solves the majority of our threat intelligence requirements all in one vendor.

  ### 16. Best threat intelligence tool in our arsenal

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael G. | Senior Advisor, Incident Response, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Flashpoint has the most comprehensive deep and dark web coverage we've seen to date. We love that we can search across ignite for any keyword and get actionable intelligence that can mean the difference between an open and close case investigation. It is easy to add things to ongoing investigations within Flashpoint to collect relegvant data about any one investigation over a long period of time. I love that we can get easy insights into some of the metadata for these findings too. Cross-referencing usernames with posting activity has been invaluable for our Fraud team.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Probably the price, but with one of the best service offerings in the industry you get what you pay for. We could use more than five seats for our organization but price controls prevent us from doing so.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking threat actors across multiple platforms, chats and forums. This is helping us get clues to follow for our existing investigations on who the fraud actors are and what they are attempting to do. Sometimes we can piece together things they're saying on the net with what we see them doing to us. Flashpoint is benefitting me by providing me a lot of valuable data and information that is relevant to many different teams at my organization.

  ### 17. Flashpoint helps fill our intelligence gaps & more

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

What's most helpful is the extensive collection that Flashpoint provides across various sources. The search bar is easy to work with. The new Ignite AI feature is saving me time searching across their collections for answers.

I would like to see a mobile browser friendly version of Ignite.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flashpoint helps to fill our intelligence gaps. We can easily search across their collections and create alerting which assist in our brand monitoring initiatives. Flashpoint's OCR detection is on point and has caught many actionable intel items. New Ignite AI feature speeds up my searches for answers.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The Ignite platform is a re-imagining of a once clunky UI which is now streamlined and provides rich actionnable data and consolidates information in a singular easy-to-use view.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The query syntax has changed a bit and this may cause some queries to break but am hopeful the streamlined query will enhance the ability to mine for rich data whenever needed.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use FP to monitor the dark web for compromised credentials and loyalty points being sold fraudulently as well as monitoring threat actor groups targeting the industry

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Sometimes it's hard to get original publications, as usual, it's not about FP, but there is a lot of noise on the web(s).

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to early detect potential losses by early detecting breaches, sales or fraud attempts against our org.

  ### 21. Great customer service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

it is acurate and easy to use, but sometimes the searching criteria is not that clear

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

the searching criteria are not always clear, we have to figure out many predetermined conditions (ate, marketplaces, etc), sometimes the results are larger than expected.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Is is useful to do research and to find past post we need to analyse

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Flashpoint has been instrumental in identifying threat actors targeting our business. By analyzing discussions on Flashpoint, we've uncovered various methods and tactics they use. Without this tool, we would spend countless hours not only in manual review but also in locating and accessing the necessary sources. Flashpoint significantly streamlines this process.

  ### 26. Flashpoint is the best threat intelligence tool you will ever use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The user interface is a lot cleaner and the mechanics of navigating through Ignite is much faster. The best thing about Ignite is the ability to submit RFI's directly through the platform, and the ability to request access to closed online communities.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The only thing I have disliked so far is how long it has taken to get our alerts transferred over to Ignite from FPtools.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We track what fraudsters are saying about us on the underground fraud communities on various forums and Telegram chats. This allows us to diligently track threat actors and fraudsters across multiple communities and create security controls based upon what methods fraudsters are using to perform fraud against us. We also use Flashpoint to monitor standard cybersecurity threat actors such as APT and financially motivated threat actors and their activities.

  ### 27. Modern Threat Intelligence Feed for the Modern Threats

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis M. | Manager Security Monitoring and Incident Response, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

It's very friendly interface with great threat intelligence feeds

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Sometimes is missing to catch relevant threat intelligence feed for our company.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dark web monitoring

  ### 28. Intelligence that matters

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Provides fast and accurate intelligence feeds from multiple sources - both dark web and deep web which helped inform our organization of leaked credentials. With these insights we were able to take decisive action to secure our organization.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The user interface can be complicated to use at first, if it can be simplfied further to make it easier for new analysts to start using the platform would be great.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help consolidate intelligence that matters to the organization from multiple sources. Doing so manually by analysts would be overwhelming and yet we still won't cover everything that is on the internet.

  ### 29. Enhances your CTI team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The speed increase on search results is incredible compared to the previous platform. The simplicity of the UX. Customer support is very quick on its responses.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Ignite AI is a great start but is still lacking. I'd like to see it create quick intel briefings on topics I ask for.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use extensive keywords based on our organization's profile, business, products and Internet footprint to alert on. Flashpoint also helps to keep me informed on latest threat groups, malware, and TTPs. Having the ability to go to a single place and get answers fast is a huge help.

  ### 30. Great Data & Platform - but API questionable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Data acquisition is second to none - they have it all.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The API and platform is not geared towards developers or enterprises trying to consume the data in bulk. Their "firehose" offerring is cost prohibitive.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Return fraud alerting

  ### 31. Making searching for compromised credentials easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

An extremely robust solution for keeping tabs on corporate users and credentials. The API is fantastic allowing for auto integration into our Xsoar playbook. Adhoc search are quite easy, just drop a name and wait for the results. The new edition of buying from the darkweb is really interesting and eye-opening on what's really happening on the internet.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Theirs so many options and data that can take a while to really get started.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The API is versatile and made even easier when integrating it into our Xsoar playbooks.

  ### 32. Great

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leo C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Its strenghts lie in its comprehnsive access to sources, curated reports, in-depth RFI services, and excellent customer support. The platform provides my team with a wide range of up-to-date data and expert assistance. It has become an invaluable tool for proactive threat mitigation.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The only downside I can think of is the application GUI that does not have advanced features such as pivoting and customisation. It would be great to see a newer version of it.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps identify threats proactively. It does it by providing high quality intelligence and tailored intelligence service for its customers. Despite the many competitors, Flashpoint offer a more comprehnsive access to sources.

  ### 33. An Excellent Partnership

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Flashpoint have been a great partner of ours for many years and I think the Trust that we have built with their team of managers and analysts is excellent. They care a lot about helping campanies solving complex problems, even if if the certain scenario is not in your contract or explicitly in their scope of work. They are also excellent in true emergency situations and they run to your aid and prioritise your challenge at a moments notice. The Flashpoint team are also extremely nice to work with; You can tell that they have spent a lot of time building out a strong culture within their business and everyone you meet is just extremely dedicated, genuinely ethusiastic , and interested in their job & realm of work. They will help you figure out your 'Unknown Unknowns' --> Even if you think you currently don't need their expertise, task automation potential, and extra eyes on your highest priorities --> just have a chat with them. :)

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

I wish I could use them and interact with them for more elements of my work.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can't really talk about details. We have a many-vendor, comprehensive strategy.

  ### 34. Love the platform!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

I appreciate that even though Flashpoint is a powerful tool, there are looking for new ways to make their platform better. The platform is extremely user friendly and has a familiar layout even if you are new to the platform. It is has proven helpful to be able to pivot within the platform to continue your research as you start uncovering what you are looking for.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

My biggest frustration is the lag at time to get a response on a bigger query. Not a huge deal, but can slow things down at times. I have brought my concern up and it is being addressed.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it daily for looked for leaked credential or company data being offered on the dark web. The ease of doing that research in one platform helps with my productivity.

  ### 35. Flashpoint Intelligence for Efficient Searches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajesh B. | Founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Because of its user-friendly design, I like Flashpoint Physical Security Intelligence. It enables me to swiftly read through a lot of material from many web sources. The natural language processing tools make my searches more precise and effective.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

I think it would be even better if the username/author search feature in Flashpoint Physical Security Intelligence. Could be expanded to include more platforms. This limitation makes me about 10 percent less satisfied with the platform.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the platform to perform security checks on myself and others to see whether our personal data has ever been leaked online or implicated in a data breach. It enables me to evaluate whether the public has access to my personal information or the information of individuals I might be considering interacting with.

  ### 36. Flashpoint is an excellent intelligence tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Velinda S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

I find it easy to set up keywords in Flashpoint, review specific blogs, and get to exactly what I am researching.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Sometimes I have to try different terms to get to what I am looking for!

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, it is making it convenient for me to be able to track the victims of CL0p

  ### 37. My Flashpoint Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Da'Zhawn B. | Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The quality of intel that Flashpoint produces.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

There seems to be a slight lengthy learning curve us FP.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping my team gather intelligence on all sorts of threats on the cyberlandscape.

  ### 38. Used daily by the SOC for global threat and vuln monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The daily standups and FPCollab alerts are great for keeping on top of current threat campaigns.
The marketplace automated searches work well.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Main dashboards do not allow custom time periods. Other views allow this.
Not all alerting views allow the export of data.
Chart colors are close shades of the same color making it difficult for staff that are color blind.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alerts of threat activity, evidence of exposed credentials and data theft.

  ### 39. Flashpoint service and product is a top-of-the-line intelligence platform for any level of analyst

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith W. | Managing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

There are very few platforms as versatile and still provide an outstanding customer experience alongside displaying top level intelligence for analysist to make educated and informed decisions.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The biggest challenge we face is when the platform is "down" and the research is limited.
Additionally, if there are too many results listed, while clicking through the multiple pages, the results will not load correctly causing additional time and effort into reloading and re analyzing the search hits.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The FP intelligence platform is supporting our incident response investigations by utilizing it to conduct research into specific attacks. We also utilize this to assist in determining the exposure of a client that is interested in identifying gaps in their security.

  ### 40. Great OSINT

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

I like the freeform search of OSINT resources very useful along with capture of the postings

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Everything I have used works as designed

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform helps us find fraudulent fake sites that are pretending to be our platform.

  ### 41. Flashpoint an great Threat Intel Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Principal Security Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Their UI is definitely one of the bigger pulls for the product. It is very easy to use. Aside from the UX experience. Their API allows for an ever increasing diversity of usage.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

I think from a need to improve stance I think it is important for some of the IOC/IOAs to be better distinguished in terms of who used them in the MITRE attack tree.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it is really changing the scope of how threat intelligence is processed. In that is giving the power to the user to define what they care about rather have consultants do it for them.

  ### 42. Very Pleased

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

Alerts:
the # of alerts you can create is sufficient
the types you can create provides a big help from having to access the portal daily

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The search engine however I hear that is being redone so no issues

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insight into our industry and the latest cybersecurity news.

One correction is if the links in the intelligence reports directed you to the article versus to the portal first.

  ### 43. Thoroughly enjoy using your platform - timely, accurate, and in-depth analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

i have no downsides to the flashpoint intelligence platform so far as i have enjoyed using it

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

flashpoint intel platform provides easy to read reports on recent events or threat groups of interest which beneifts me and shortens my time spend researching.

  ### 44. Flashpoint is one of our most valuable tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The intelligence provided is timely and actionable, and the Flashpoint team is super responsive in terms of both break fix and feature requests.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The UI is not as polished as it could be and can be a little counterintuitive at times.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the service to monitor for account compromises, initial acces sales, and potential third-party threats involving our partners and vendors.

  ### 45. An exceptional Platform with an incredible intel team

- Finished intelligence reports are incredibly useful
- The built-in RFI process is a force-multiplier

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Nothing specifically comes to mind — I really enjoy using the platform

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding hard-to-reach data from niche sources.

  ### 46. Flashpoint Tools (FP Tools) Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The Flashpoint Platform offered the greatest amount of data regarding the criminal underground in relation to their peers. We often called the the Lexis Nexis of cybercrime data. The data was well sorted/presented and easy to search.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

The data was extremely voluminous and could be overwhelming to a new user. Maximizing available user training helped overcome this obstacle.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding information about particular threats and threat actors. Scraping relevant darkweb markets and criminal forums. Helping with threat actor attribution.

  ### 47. Really powerful and actionable threat intelligence with an intuitive user interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

We've been able to access it to identify actionable cyber threat intelligence for our membership.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Sometimes the interface isn't completely intuitive. I say this in spite of it being one of the better interfaces I've encountered.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us identify real threats against SLTT agencies and enabling us to leverage that information to inform and defend our membership.

  ### 48. Great Product/ Amazing Support Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The platform itself is a great tool; I often use the community and marketplace searches to determine our organization's risk exposure and uses for adversary montioring. However, the best part of Flashpoint is our support staff and the FP Community. Everything from customer success to the sales team is proffessionaly delivered and extremely helpful to my team. Everyone has sound technical advice and field experience that enables my team to get the most out of our intelligence requirements.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

Searching in multiple languages can sometimes be difficult, for the future, I would hope for a more seamless searching mechanism for looking at keywords across various languages.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The typical business problem I use FP Tools for is advesary and brand monitoring. SLTT and Higher Education have very broad threat landscapes, making it difficult to track threat actors and their TTPS. FP Tools allows my team to that with ease.

  ### 49. Great customer support and data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

customer support team is very helpful and reactive

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

not too many downsides, interface main page could be more intuitive

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helps to track down insider threats and track telegram chats

  ### 50. Great product, Great experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard K. | Deputy Sheriff Detective, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Flashpoint?**

The Echosec / Beacon system is the most intuitive and user-friendly OSINT tool I've used for Social Media. The results render quickly and the layout and operability are fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Flashpoint?**

My only regret about the system, is that I didn't take advantage of the product earlier.

**What problems is Flashpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the Echosec Systems I am working to realize a greater potential in all aspects of my investigations, from skip-trace to target location. It truly is a wonderful product.

**Official Response from Paula Hingley:**

> Thank you so much for this review Richard! Be sure to reach out if there's anything we can support you with in the future!
