Obviously the price is right. You can pay for a "pro" version, but if you needed a professional video editing software you probably would not be looking at VSDC, but something like AVID, Adobe or Final Cut. First off, you have to pay for the pro version in order to be able to save your projects. Essentially they are letting you test drive the software for free.
