Five Hundred — Solar O&M CMMS, Built on Microsoft 365
Five Hundred is a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) designed specifically for solar energy operations and maintenance. Built natively on the Microsoft 365 platform, it serves European O&M operators and asset managers overseeing portfolios of 50 MW and above.
What it does
Five Hundred manages the full operational lifecycle of a solar portfolio from a single platform. Core capabilities include work order management, preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling, EHS compliance tracking, and IEC 62446-aligned document management. Field technicians access job details, checklists, and asset history through a mobile app built on Power Apps. SCADA integration enables automated work order creation triggered by equipment alerts. An investor reporting portal delivers performance dashboards and portfolio-level insights through Power BI.
How it is built
Five Hundred is not a third-party application integrated with Microsoft 365 — it is architected natively within it. The platform is composed entirely of Microsoft-native components: Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, and Azure Entra ID. No proprietary middleware or external databases are introduced.
Deployment and data sovereignty
The solution deploys directly inside the client's own Microsoft Azure tenant. All operational data — work orders, asset records, maintenance histories, compliance documents — resides exclusively within the client's environment. There is no shared infrastructure, no vendor-controlled data layer, and no dependency on third-party cloud services.
Pricing model
Five Hundred is priced on a CAPEX basis. Clients pay a one-time implementation fee scoped to their portfolio size, number of sites, and required modules. There are no recurring SaaS subscription fees, no per-user licensing charges, and no vendor lock-in. The platform is owned by the client from day one.
