What do you dislike about Fishbowl Inventory? It was described as more of a one time purchase, but the ongoing support is a continuing subscription. So if you have a plug in (integration) with an outside software then you need to keep the latest version to ensure it works properly. So there isn't really a way to avoid the ongoing subscription if you want to integrate with another software. The shipping process is fairly robust, but there isn't really a way to streamline it for dealing with simple orders going out every day. The reporting side of fishbowl is not very advanced, it is hard to manipulate the data yourself without having to purchase a custom report, manipulation of the reporting side of things is not very intuitive to make changes. Unpainful migration from our old system, user-friendly navigation, proactive support desk with different contact options: email, online chat, phone call, and return calls. Customized fields in the Moduels and Customized Reports. Transparent and errorless integration with Quickbooks. Daily use under multiple users without conflicts and errors. There is no module for container tracking (ship date and location, ETA, arrival date). It helped us work with Sales Orders and Purchase orders, tracking inventory in different locations, including transit. I checked out serveral inventory software companies. Fishbowl was really one of the very few that would allow me flexibilty in what I wanted to do. Implementation was easier with the great support. Paying for additional logins so that users won't be kicked out isn't great. Also charging for custom reports. There is a lot to learn in a short period of time about the program. I had amazing support though but please consider customers like me that make fishbowl work the way we need it to. Again, there are ways around the software but it takes more time to learn and understand. Your software can do many things and there are what seems to be thousands of options which is good for a company like mine to figure out what I can use. Maybe create something that's on a simpler scale that matches the app? Desktop version was a bit confusing in the beginning and some of the actions seemed repetitive. I'm using only about 25%-30% of what your sofware is capable of but paid a lot for it. Just saying it's something to consider for companies running smaller scale businesses. We are a circuit board design and manufacturing company. I can easily import a bill of material that my Altium CAD software generates (With a minor spreadsheet format adjustment). From there Fishbowl tells me what I need to order to make the circuit boards. With one touch of the "AUTO PO" button, my POs are all created and ready to be sent to the suppliers.
