Once Quickbooks Desktop was discontinued for support we were forced to switch to Quickbooks online. Unfortunately that didn't offer us the ability to generate Sales Orders, ship small packages or effectively maintain inventory. With Fishbowl - integrated with Quickbooks online, we are able to quote a customer, generate a sales order, pick/ pack/ ship via small packages and generate a Bill of Lading for LTL shipments. Our inventory is now always correct. The workflow is easy and intuitive, we use it every day. The implementation process was great, we had a dedicated trainer who video-chatted with us for weeks before we went live. There's also a mobile app that allows you to do most functions remotely. If I had any complaints, it would be on the reporting side - some included reports could stand to be more customizeable but you can always get custom report templates made from customer support. The truth is that I can also get all of my reports in quickbooks online anyway so it's far from being a dealbreaker! What problems is Fishbowl Inventory solving and how is that benefiting you? It is a single product that handles the entire sales process except the CRM aspect. A "must have" for us was being able to handle small package and LTL shipments. The system forces you to do things the right way - you can't ship something you don't have which forces you to receive etc. This ensures inventory levels are always correct. Although Fishbowl provides a plethora of reports, there seems to be lots of reports that you don't need with very few reports that are helpful right out of the box. Reports that are most helpful for us have been customized and are expensive. I and my Lupos Biotechnology team, are using Fishbowl Inventory Software to track our Manufactured inventory as a Company of utilizing thousands of Raw goods and selling hundreds of our finished goods. This software is really helpful in the terms of where, how much, when and what exactly I shipped to our clients. Additonally, Fishbowl seemed to be very helpful in pulling out different types of Reports which basically keeps a history of each and every unit entering and leaving our facility.The thing I like the most is that Fishbowl can never loose a single unit of my inventory. It has brilliant reporting options such as Lot history, Accounting, Monthly sales and purchase orders, Inventory Adjustment reports etc. Another thing which is appreciable is their Customer Support. Even though we have Intensified Protocoals as a Pharma Producers, still Every time we contact support is really helpful. They have very supportive team especially their Implementatio specalist- Joshua Willamson Who trained us throughout the software in a very detailed and brief manner. Fishbowl has been an invaluable tool for us as we've grown over the past couple of years. I cannot imagine continuing to use QuickBooks Online for inventory management at our current scale. The support we received during setup was unbelievably helpful; I had as much help as I needed at every step. After the training we received, it became pretty intuitive to use. Our method of determining what products we needed to order was just to literally walk around and eyeball each product which is so wildly ineffecient and inaccurate. Fishbowl's tools to automatically create a PO for product we need, and the ability to set minimums for products, has been an enormous time saver and has undoubtedly made us much more effecienct. I really appreciate the ease of navigativing through the individual modules which helps with our process of receiving and delivering product. I really like the shortcuts as well such as creating a duplicate Sales Order to expedite the creating of many similar orders. For example, we had to purchase a report layout that includes pictures for our Sales Orders. I wish that would already be included as we are already spending so much on the program itself.
