e-Spirit’s SaaS-based FirstSpirit Digital Experience Platform helps businesses engage customers and increase revenue with personalized, content-rich digital experiences anytime, anywhere. Savvy digital marketers across all industry sectors rely on the FirstSpirit platform—which includes a hybrid (headless+) CMS, AI-driven personalization and omnichannel marketing capabilities—for individualized and synchronized content delivery across all channels to differentiate their companies and turn customers into lifelong fans. Why choose the FirstSpirit hybrid CMS? You no longer need to be limited by a monolithic CMS or the lack of scalability of a pure-play headless CMS. FirstSpirit’s hybrid CMS combines the power of an enterprise-class CMS with the agility and flexibility of a headless CMS. Even better, in a headless CMS scenario, FirstSpirit gives you control over what the final experience looks like with view AND edit capabilities, regardless of the channel or device. Our hybrid model delivers the best out of all integration approaches resulting in a truly agile CMS.FirstSpirit’s flexible content architecture enables its use as a traditional CMS (integrated front end and back end), decoupled CMS and/or headless CMS, whichever is needed today or in the future, for our customers. This capability to support any type of situation in parallel, sets us apart from our CMS competitors — combining the power of deep integration (e.g., with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, Spryker), along with the agility of headless deployments. This translates into greater flexibility for your IT-team, and faster time to market for your marketing team so you can deliver inspiring digital experiences that drive action for customer engagement and/or digital commerce. Other Benefits Empowerment. Easy to use tools and an intuitive UI that empower nontechnical users to intuitively create and deliver personalized, content-driven experiences that inspire customers to action wherever they may be—without using HTML. Intelligence. Use our AI-powered personalization, A/B testing, predictive analytics, and optimized automation to deliver data-driven and contextualized omnichannel experiences at scale for greater engagement and revenue. Agility. FirstSpirit has a high degree of interoperability with adjacent technologies, services and data sources combined with proven integrations and a flexible API-driven microservices architecture for faster time to value. Founded in 1999, e-Spirit has offices in 16 locations in the US, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Asia Pacific. Customers include international brands and corporations such as Commerzbank, BASF, Bosch, Belk, Carter’s, Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof, GNC, Grohe, Reitmans, Olympus, Santander Bank, Sterling Jewelers, Walbusch and many others.

"Relaunch of a corporate Intranet portal using FIRSTspirit as CMS"

4.5/5

What do you like best about FirstSpirit DXP?

FIRSTspirit allowed us from a corporate perspective to provide content and design guidelines from a central instance. With having many different sub-companies and locations, FS was the perfect fit. We could assign the different companies their own areas within FS to create their own content, with having them the corporate content inherited.

Furthermore, the content editor for the users is super user friendly and easily understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FirstSpirit DXP?

The price point of this product is quiet high. Also, at the time we implemented the product, worldwide distribution and availability of the software provider was not given. However, this was not a main criteria in that very project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FirstSpirit DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?

Finding a CMS that easily integrates into an SAP webportal and allowing content creation on different levels.

FS allowed us all of it and we even realized that the webeditor is so user friendly, that we decided to even add more levels for content creation and added more web authors (e.g., every department created and now maintains their own Intranet site) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful tool for building complex. rich websites"

4/5

What do you like best about FirstSpirit DXP?

A comprehensive and powerful tool for building rich, complex websites. FirstSpirit works with your own designs and HTML, rather than forcing you to choose from limited templates. It has rich support for multiple authors, workflows and permissions. The developer API gives impressive access to the underlying data structures. Page generation is fast even on large sites. The web-based editorial environment is very impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FirstSpirit DXP?

Support for enterprise-level environments such as JBoss Portal is limited and requires 3rd-party support. The main development environment, the Java-based Site Architect, is quite resource-intensive, especially when using it with the live previews enabled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering FirstSpirit DXP:

Don't think of FirstSpirit as a CMS like WordPress - it's more of a powerful tool for you to create your own specific CMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is FirstSpirit DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?

Building a content-rich public facing website and integrating it with custom-built JBoss Portal portlet applications for both public site and back-end users. Using the CMS to build the framework in which the portlets sit, alongside hundreds of pages of custom content, allows for a seamless experience for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
