Firebase is free, quick to set up and very complete. In particular, the push notification features are useful to send push notifications without having to maintain its own infrastructure, and the crash data, inherited from the venerable Crashlytics are very valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Firebase? The user interface is complicated, not very pretty and not very ergonomic. It is very difficult to extract useful information from analytics. The steps to make Crashlytics work are complicated and don't always work (because of the symbolization data that must be uploaded correctly). The framework used to have compatibility problems with every Xcode update and with Swift Package Manager. Firebase has a huge number of dependencies, so it clutters the project with a lot of Google or other third-party frameworks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Despite the rich functionality I have a feeling that it wants to do too many things. It is not that easy for a non tech guy to get all the data what he needs from the console. You have to get your hand dirty too for example uploading the dSYM files for crash reporting. Also it is not that easy to get valuable information from Analytics.
