I really like how easy it is to integrate Fingerprint. The setup was super simple, just adding a few lines of code, and it was up and running in minutes. The UI is also very simple and helps me quickly access necessary data across months. Fingerprint's device fingerprinting accuracy is impressive and it effectively identifies repeat users, even if cookies are cleared or during incognito browsing. What stood out to me with Fingerprint is how easy it was to integrate into our existing stack. The documentation is straightforward, and the setup didn’t feel overly complex or time-consuming. Once we had it running, it’s been pretty hands-off, which is exactly what you want from something like this. The accuracy has also been solid. We’ve seen very consistent device identification, even across different browsers, which was important for us. The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate, so it doesn’t take much effort to understand what’s happening at a glance. Support has been another positive. What do you dislike about Fingerprint? Pricing can get a bit expensive as you scale, especially if your traffic increases quickly. It’s not unreasonable, but it’s definitely something to keep an eye on as you grow. I also think there could be more built-in tools or clearer examples for some edge-case scenarios. The SDK itself works well, but having a few more practical implementation examples or ready-made patterns would make things smoother, especially for more complex setups. The best thing about fingerprint is the suspect score it provides for each user, network and IP details and the unique visitorId it generates. The visitorId can change when a customer uses a different browser on the same machine. Fingerprint helps us detect order fraud by identifying when the same customer is trying to enroll multiple times using different names or SSNs. This is especially critical for us because we run soft credit checks, and scammers may use stolen data from the dark web to sign up for electricity. This saved us thousands of dollars in the long run and saved our reputation as a whole with electricity suppliers. As a data analyst in a performance marketing agency, what I value most about Fingerprint is the reliability of its visitor identification across sessions and devices. In marketing attribution and fraud analysis, traditional cookies are fragile and frequently blocked. Fingerprint provides a much more stable identifier, which significantly improves match rates and reduces ambiguity in our datasets. We use Fingerprint on a daily basis across multiple client environments, particularly for fraud detection workflows and attribution analysis. Because it becomes part of the core tracking layer, reliability and uptime are critical, and in our experience it has been consistent and dependable. Customer support has also been responsive and technically competent. When we’ve had implementation or configuration questions, responses were clear and solution-oriented rather than generic documentation links. Having more clarity or tools to understand why a probabilistic match was created would aid in debugging. Additionally, consistency of data availability across different workspaces can be improved. We use Fingerprint in our web application as part of our team to identify users during signup and login. In my work I look at device IDs when new accounts are created to help us reduce duplicate and suspicious signups. This has enabled us to make our onboarding process more secure, without adding friction for users. It also works great without cookies, which has been especially helpful for our platform. We use Fingerprint to run checks during signup and login in our SaaS web application. As our user traffic grows, the pricing can become expensive. Part of my role is reviewing flagged or repeat devices, and the dashboard isn’t always intuitive, so it often takes extra steps to locate specific details. For pricing, it delivers value by reducing fraud, but costs can increase as traffic grows, so more flexible pricing would improve ROI. Support and onboarding were smooth overall, and documentation helped us get started quickly. I didn't think it was possible to collect this information from visitors, although it's a great feature if you have a website or app, as fingerprinting allows you to prevent fraud to a very high degree. I worked on developing the excellent statistics tool rybbit.com, which offered a free month of the paid plan. However, this was being misused, as users were creating multiple accounts, consuming a lot of our resources and time. So, we integrated fingerprinting into the registration interface and discovered that many were using VPNs to bypass our basic IP checks.
