"Bench Review of Finch"
5/5
What do you like best about Finch?

Finch has a robust, comprehensive and relatively standardized method of recording payroll data from a large variety of providers. It's allowed us to automate much of our payroll recording processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Finch?

The standardization is 100% comprehensive and so still requires manual work arounds at certain times. But often it's not Finch's issue but rather something the base payroll platform APIs don't necessarily provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for HRIS integrations across multiple providers"
4/5
What do you like best about Finch?

Finch allows me to collaborate with customers who use a variety of HRIS platforms. The team is very communicative in resolving issues, but the prioritization can take some time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Finch?

HIRS platforms frequently update their APIs and integrations, which often leads to various bugs appearing unexpectedly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration and Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Finch?

Single integration from our side gives us 200+ providers. Also, great support team with fast response and resolutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Finch?

A few integrations require additional work outside the embedded flow from the customer side. However, these are getting fewer and fewer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Payroll Integrations"
5/5
What do you like best about Finch?

Handled our payroll integrations effortlessly. Completely seamless for our end customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Finch?

Not every payroll provider is listed yet but they’re adding new ones seemingly everyday. I’m not sure how we would even build our product without Finch Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finch is a great company to work with!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Finch?

Finch and Thoropass have been partners since both were early stage startups years ago. That means both companies and our relationship have seen a lot of changes over the years. When Sam Gurdus came on board as the head of customer success, him and the team really did an amazing job ensuring we were supported and we had a voice at Finch who helped address any needs we had. We're able to quickly deploy new HRIS systems with ease and we're excited about the roadmap Finch has shared and grateful for including us in their roadmap and love working with their productg team. Yash has been our dev success manager this year and he's great to work with and has really gone above and beyond constantly to help us have a successful partnership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Finch?

This is really changing now, but until somewhat recently we had less input into the product or opportunities to be interviewed by the product team. I think moving forward this will really be mutually beneficial especially because there are some really important 2025 Finch Roadmap items that are important to Thoropass. Can't wait to continue working with this team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finch employee data fetch"
4/5
What do you like best about Finch?

I appreciate how Finch is standardizing data from different providers. It's highly scalable, although we have yet to use it in production. I'm also glad to see the integration with multiple providers now available in the market. The support team at Finch has been consistently helpful and responsive to our questions and feature requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Finch?

Many of the fields we receive are nullable, except for the internal IDs generated by Finch. This often leads to uncertainty about whether it will cause issues. As a result, it falls on the employer's team to address and resolve these issues, which can require significant discussions and effort on their side. This undermines the benefit of having a standardized, single platform to provide data for us to consume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
