As a QBO user and accountant managing multi-location operations, Financial Cents has been a huge win for our team. It offers great team visibility, easy client access, and quick, responsive support. It’s simpler to train our team and clients on compared to some bigger platforms, and I appreciate the company’s openness about its development roadmap. A few standout features for us: • The ability to keep local files and link directly to our client OneDrive archives. • Integration with Adobe for digital signatures. • Direct QBO integration with our bookkeeping clients, so we can reclassify transactions without leaving Financial Cents or logging into QBO separately. Some areas could improve, especially as our operations grow: • More flexibility in managing dependent tasks and customizable, user-defined views. • Limited native integrations, with over-reliance on Zapier. • It would help to have simpler methods for inviting and onboarding clients to the portal, making client training more seamless. With assigned team members clearly responsible for tasks and deadlines, we can make sure we’re not just getting the work done — we’re also accurately tracking and billing clients for the services and value we provide. That’s been huge for avoiding missed work or under-billing. I also really appreciate how it brings everything together in one place: real-time dashboards, direct QBO integration (so we can reclassify transactions without logging into QBO), and the ability to link to our client OneDrive folders for file management. It’s easy for both our team and our clients to use, which has been a big win. Sure, there are a few things that could be better — like more flexibility with dependent tasks, more native integrations (without relying so much on Zapier), and smoother ways to onboard clients to the portal — but overall, it’s made us more efficient, more organized, and better able to deliver great service across all our locations. I have only been using this software for a few weeks and it's just what I needed. I can see what's ahead of me and use it to plan. The clients are loving the client portal simplicity, including my tech resistant 70 year old client. I love that it's stopped the pick up and put down when a client emails that they've sent everything but I start the job and they haven't.
