"Best Professional Video Editing Software by Apple - FinalCut Pro"
4.5/5
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

The best thing about using FinalCut Pro is the availability of all the powerful and essential video editing features in one place in a very well-built package. I get regular updates with regularly new and improved tools. New features like Duplicate clip detections, better-selecting tools, and many more have made the experience more fun.

This software is the best when it comes to editing my videos in the most professional manner. The User interface is the best I have come across, even better than other editors I have used on my phone and windows. But this software only works in macOS.

On the basis of my experience, I recommend using this editor for both beginners and professionals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

The most undesirable thing about final cut pro is that it only operates on macOS. Sometimes, I have a requirement to edit the videos on the go but there is no availability on mac machines, for which I feel the need for it to be available in windows.

Learning and becoming an advanced editor comes along with knowing a bunch of keyboard shortcuts, which is a boon, but sometimes becomes cumbersome.

The last thing which I dislike is the pricing. I feel that as a beginner, the pricing is a little bit on the higher side.

Apart from this, I love using FinalCut Pro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive: It didn't take too much to get started"
4/5
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

It was really easy to get started with FinalCut Pro. I was used to Adobe programs and other timeline-based production tools. I wasn't doing anything too intense, but I was able to get a lot done - right "out of the box." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

One issue that can be frustrating is editing between team members who use different operating systems. A lot of us are spoiled by the Adobe programs and how many resources integrate (typefaces, AfterEffects, etc.). FinalCut Pro could do better in that regard. It might be one of their selling points - focusing on the consistent color that Apple products provide. I just feel a little limited in some of these regards. "A Professional-Grade, Versatile Video-Editing App"
5/5
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

FinalCut Pro is a vast, in-depth video editing suite. It has a wide range of capabilities and is usable by pros and relative newcomers alike. The interface is similar enough to other, less robust video-editing platforms that people without extensive experience can still make a polished product. There is also a wide range of information available online to quickly pick up tricks and become a power user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

Newcomers may be scared off by the interface as they learn new capabilities. However, once you start learning more and finding your way around the app, it quickly becomes second-nature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top-notch Video Editing Software"
4.5/5
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

FinalCut Pro is one of the best video editing software available in the market, which has all the necessary and advanced tools to create a professional video for business purposes. The ease of snipping, cropping and moving clips wherever you want, along with adding animations and transition effects, are key highlights that you will love in this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

Considering the features and usability which FinalCut Pro, the pricing is high-end. You can find other software cheaper than FinalCut Pro with similar characteristics. Reconsidering the price will be a good option to make it affordable to many users. Processing files of more considerable weight is an issue as the software slows down. "Quicker & Smarter Video Editing Tool"
4.5/5
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

FinalCut Pro offers you all the necessary tools and elements which you require for a professional video editing project. It is loaded with tons ot effects, transitions & 3D animations as well. Moreover, the software has also a library where you can find a lot of professional videos, images and sound effects to make your videos more attractive and engaging. What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

The software sometimes behave a bit slow while working on super large files. It can be managed by changing few settings but that is harder to find for some users. The company also need to consider rethinking on the price as there are many cheaper options available in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everything you could need!"
5/5
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

Final Cut Pro is your right-hand man when it comes to editing videos. It's very user-friendly and super easy to get started on. Once you get through the short learning curve you'll start editing videos like a pro. This is exceptionally well for videos done for ads, vlogs, or YouTube. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

Unfortunately, while it may be extremely easy to use for your basic video edits, for example, podcasts, Vlogs, Ads, etc. once you want to scale beyond that and explore much more complex video editing ventures, you're sort of limited. It's a great tool for easy edits, but if you want complex edits, it's not your go-to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"a powerful piece of video editing software that gives Adobe a run for its money"
5/5
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

Easy to create 3D titles and other graphics. Has all tools necessary to cut a legitimate-looking video. A great entry point for people digging into video editing software for the first time. There are plenty of resources available online for anyone who wants to pick up the program, and it is taught as the industry standard in many classrooms. I believe it is still available for one-time purchase, which I prefer over the new Adobe subscription model. Non-linear and nondestructive editing is extremely helpful, especially to those who are just learning the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

Much more expensive than iMovie, but obviously much more powerful of a tool. It might be too expensive for someone just getting into video editing- which is a shame, because I think they're the best audience for the program. Not as sophisticated as some other more expensive and specialized products. Only available on Mac, so if you want to edit between computers and your personal computer is not a Mac, you are SOL. If you're accustomed to a different program, you might have a hard time adjusting to the new shortcuts. Rendering can sometimes be very slow. All this being considered, it is not my preferred program- I'm more likely to use Adobe Premiere than Final Cut Pro. Additional plugins are necessary for some functions. "The best choice for non editors"
3.5/5
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

It does the work of a professional NLE application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

Apple broke a lot of what worked well in FCP 7. Their new (in relation to FCP7) workspace is a pointless change meant to help with file managemen but it does the exact opposite. If I worked as an editor, I would be bothered by it, but since I only edit video sporadically, it doesn't bother me that much. The magnetic timeline bothers me too, but I disable it. I would hate all these things if I were a full-time editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
