"Quicker & Smarter Video Editing Tool"
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

FinalCut Pro offers you all the necessary tools and elements which you require for a professional video editing project. It is loaded with tons ot effects, transitions & 3D animations as well. Moreover, the software has also a library where you can find a lot of professional videos, images and sound effects to make your videos more attractive and engaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

The software sometimes behave a bit slow while working on super large files. It can be managed by changing few settings but that is harder to find for some users. The company also need to consider rethinking on the price as there are many cheaper options available in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everything you could need!"
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

Final Cut Pro is your right-hand man when it comes to editing videos. It's very user-friendly and super easy to get started on. Once you get through the short learning curve you'll start editing videos like a pro. This is exceptionally well for videos done for ads, vlogs, or YouTube. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

Unfortunately, while it may be extremely easy to use for your basic video edits, for example, podcasts, Vlogs, Ads, etc. once you want to scale beyond that and explore much more complex video editing ventures, you're sort of limited. It's a great tool for easy edits, but if you want complex edits, it's not your go-to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"a powerful piece of video editing software that gives Adobe a run for its money"
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

Easy to create 3D titles and other graphics. Has all tools necessary to cut a legitimate-looking video. A great entry point for people digging into video editing software for the first time. There are plenty of resources available online for anyone who wants to pick up the program, and it is taught as the industry standard in many classrooms. I believe it is still available for one-time purchase, which I prefer over the new Adobe subscription model. Non-linear and nondestructive editing is extremely helpful, especially to those who are just learning the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

Much more expensive than iMovie, but obviously much more powerful of a tool. It might be too expensive for someone just getting into video editing- which is a shame, because I think they're the best audience for the program. Not as sophisticated as some other more expensive and specialized products. Only available on Mac, so if you want to edit between computers and your personal computer is not a Mac, you are SOL. If you're accustomed to a different program, you might have a hard time adjusting to the new shortcuts. Rendering can sometimes be very slow. All this being considered, it is not my preferred program- I'm more likely to use Adobe Premiere than Final Cut Pro. Additional plugins are necessary for some functions. "The best choice for non editors"
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

It does the work of a professional NLE application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

Apple broke a lot of what worked well in FCP 7. Their new (in relation to FCP7) workspace is a pointless change meant to help with file managemen but it does the exact opposite. If I worked as an editor, I would be bothered by it, but since I only edit video sporadically, it doesn't bother me that much. The magnetic timeline bothers me too, but I disable it. I would hate all these things if I were a full-time editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User experience with Final Cut PRO"
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

1. I like that it supports so many third-party plugins, which helps boost the level of creativity we can do.

2. It makes it easy for users to quickly export their work to many external services, such as Youtube. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

1. I wish someday they allow me to use this on the cloud since I can now access most of the tools except FCP.

2. The file references should be relative to the project file, so if you have all your files under one folder and move the whole folder to another drive, you don't have to relink all the files again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"FinalCut Pro is simply the best Video editor for newbies and experts."
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

The design is simple to grasp and has a ton of very easy-to-use effects. FinalCut has a very user-friendly interface that is best designed for easy workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

The only problem with FinalCut Pro is that it may be a bit difficult for users who don't have a Mac computer. This is fixed with numerous video tutorials on youtube and other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Power software that is also easy to use"
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

Final Cut has a streamlined interface, is easy to use, and offers plenty of powerful features if I need to use them. It is also well integrated into Apple's ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

The magnetic timeline. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. I've probably picked up bad habits from my time as a Premiere user. Oh well. It's probably still the least intuitive part of FinalCut. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

The steep learning curve to master it and some advanced features are harder to do such as blurring people's faces from the background or text from sensitive documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Final cut Pro is a great video editor for content creators."
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

The thing that I like most about Final Cut Pro is that it has a lot of features and tools that can help you create professional-looking videos. For example, it has a built-in color correction tool that can help you fix any color issues in your videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

Sometimes video export takes too much time after completing editing. Also I think the price is too high. The colour grading feature could be better, It's my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"FinalCut Pro is a very easy to use video editing tool aimed for fast professional media workflows"
What do you like best about FinalCut Pro?

It has a very simple and easy to use interface and the learning curve is also not that steep. It is not complex like adobe premiere pro which throws away users due to its complexity. It has various presets which are ready to be used in your video files giving a professional look to your video in minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FinalCut Pro?

One of the biggest disappointment I have found for this software is that it is not available for Windows. I have a very powerful windows machine and I would love to use FCP in that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
