"Intuitive Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I used Filio for documenting our journey through Sikkim, and it was great with helping document photo locations, which was really helpful when analyzing photos for our final presentation. I like its interactive user interface, which is relatively simple to use. I really liked how you could speak to the app, and it would document what you had to say for each of your photos. This feature makes things quicker, especially in fast-paced environments or while traveling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

It was a bit laggy at times, but that may have had more to do with our remote location than the app itself. I think if it were able to sync quicker, that would be nice, but nothing's ever going to be truly instant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

We are thrilled Filio helped streamline your documentation and final presentation! It’s great to hear the voice-to-text feature saved you time in the field. We have improved our sync speeds and offline experience to ensure seamless performance in remote areas. Thank you for the feedback!

"Enhances Field Studies with Precise Location Data"
4/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I like that Filio shows the location the picture was taken as well as the direction in which the picture was taken. This helps me understand the location and what I’m looking at or how to find it. I also found the initial setup of Filio very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

Adding photos taken from your phone normally (not through the Filio app) doesn’t include the same location data. I often forgot to open the Filio app when I needed to take a picture quickly due to a lack of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Filio?

I find Filio to be a good platform for uploading images, especially field inspection images, which helps me with reporting tasks in my job role. I like that it is a friendly user app and really handy for getting each detail. The initial setup was quite easy, making it convenient to start using. Also, the support we received has been helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

I don't like that we can't change the upload dates. It shows the previous date when we upload images, and those dates are not editable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Photo Management for Field Projects"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I like using Filio because I can directly upload pictures for projects like field photos without saving them on my phone. I appreciate the edit option that allows me to edit location names and directly upload them into the project folder. As a field engineer with lots of pictures from different sites, Filio makes my job easier by organizing them into different projects. I also find Filio easy to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

It makes my phone slow. I guess they should make the storage of the app less. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Hi Eshu, thank you so much for your feedback. It’s awesome to hear that Filio is helping you manage all those site photos without cluttering up your personal gallery.

I noticed you mentioned the app has been slowing down your phone. Even though the photos aren't in your camera roll, the app sometimes holds onto a "cache" of synced data that can get a bit heavy over time.

To speed things up immediately, try this:

1. Open the Filio data collector app and go to Settings.

2. Tap on Data and Storage.

3. Set the "Remove synced media" option to one or two weeks.

This will automatically clear out the local storage for photos that are already safely backed up in our cloud, which should make your phone feel much faster.

What do you like best about Filio?

The time-saving and effortless ease of use that provides our team with instant results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

We dislike nothing. When a company is capable of enhancing their already cutting edge technology and makes it simple to use without completely changing how you already use it, that says a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhances Photo Management with Accurate Geo-Tagging"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I use Filio for capturing photos and videos with location tags, which helps me remember places easily. A feature I really like is how it tags areas with geo-tags, making it easy for me to find those places later. It also aids my work by allowing me to add the address directly in the picture instead of manually typing it as a caption. Additionally, Filio lets me create or edit PDF or Word reports and back them up or save them in OneDrive or Google Drive. The initial setup was good, and overall, my team likes the Filio app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

While it integrates with big names like Procore and Autodesk, it may not sync perfectly with smaller construction software. And subscription cost is also a bit more high according to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Thanks for your feedback and for taking the time to leave a review. On pricing, we hear you - budgets matter. We have worked hard to keep Filio budget-friendly compared to other platforms while still offering strong features for jobsite photo documentation and reporting.

"Cooperative Methods for Data Collection"

What do you like best about Filio?

I have enjoyed being able to see data from our field staff in real time from anywhere I might be. I also enjoy the ability to view all of the coordinates or locations where each photo was taken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

Sometimes, the photo locations/coordinates are not syncing with where they were actually taken. I have also noticed that the photos I take will delete if I close out of the app or lose connection with the app due to poor connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Hi! It’s great to hear that Filio is successfully bringing your fieldwork into the office in real-time. That "bridge" is exactly why we built the platform!

Regarding your concerns, we want to clear a few things up because your data is much safer than it might seem. Here is what is likely happening under the hood:

1. On GPS Accuracy: Filio records your coordinates using your phone’s GPS hardware the exact second you take the photo, it doesn’t wait for a cell signal to "tag" it. If the location seems off, it’s often because photos were imported from the phone’s gallery (where metadata can get stripped) rather than taken directly inside the Filio data collector app. We highly recommend users to use the Filio data collector app to capture photos.

2. On "Disappearing" Photos: Rest assured, Filio never deletes your photos. If you lose connection or the app closes, your photos are stored securely in the device’s local memory. They might "hide" for a moment if a sync is interrupted, but as soon as you have a stable connection and open the app, they will finish their journey to the cloud.

We’d love to help you get this running perfectly. If you run into any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at contact@filio.io.

"Filio: Fragmented information to actionable insight"
5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I’ve been using Filio for many years since its very first version, and it’s one of the most thoughtful and well-designed productivity tools in my digital toolkit. What sets Filio apart is its combination of intuitive usability, intelligent organization, and a clean, distraction-free interface that genuinely helps you focus on what matters. From the moment you open the app, it’s clear that a user-centric design philosophy guided every decision. Filio offers powerful functionality without feeling overwhelming, and it strikes an excellent balance between simplicity and capability. Tasks, notes, reminders, and project workflows are presented in a natural, fluid way, reducing friction and making it easier to stay on top of your day.

Performance is smooth and reliable across devices, and synchronization is seamless, which makes Filio ideal for users who work across multiple platforms. What I value most about Filio is how it respects your workflow; it doesn’t force rigid structures or unnecessary complexity. Instead, it adapts to you, empowering you to organize your life in a flexible yet coherent way. Whether you’re managing personal goals, professional deadlines, or collaborative projects, Filio feels like an app built by someone who actually understands what it means to stay organized in a busy world.

If you’re looking for a productivity app that is both powerful and pleasant to use, Filio deserves a serious look. It’s one of the most polished, purposeful, and genuinely useful apps I’ve encountered, and it continues to evolve in ways that make everyday work and life smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

In terms of the required 'dislike': Filio’s design philosophy prioritizes simplicity and focus, which means some features common in mature productivity ecosystems, such as extensive third-party integrations, advanced analytics, or highly customizable dashboards may be absent or still evolving. Users who rely heavily on tool-to-tool automation may need to supplement Filio with other applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and for being with Filio since the early versions. We are thrilled to hear the app’s intuitive workflow, clean interface, and reliable cross-device sync have helped you stay organized. We also appreciate the feedback on integrations, analytics, and dashboard customization. Those are areas we are actively evolving, and your input helps us prioritize what to build next.

Thanks again for your support, and for sharing how Filio fits into your real-world workflows.

"Precision and Collaboration Combined for Field Inspections"
5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I like Filio for its higher precision compared to the default Apple photo app, and the orientation features really help. The easy collaboration with colleagues on the same project is a great advantage. I find the custom format photo log generation for field inspections incredibly useful. It helps in identifying and visualizing issues in the office, which is beneficial for technical leaders to pinpoint problems and assess risks. The initial setup was super easy, and given these features, I'm likely to use it again for projects requiring photo documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

If the web app directly saves data to corporate databases like OneDrive, it opens access to a lot of confidential projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Thanks so much for the thoughtful review. We are really happy to see that Filio’s precision/orientation tools and the custom photo log reports are helping your team collaborate and spot issues faster. And we hear you on the confidentiality concern, data security is a top priority for us.

"Geolocated Photos Make Test Locations Easy to Identify"
4/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I think that photos are geolocated, it help identify what test locations pictures belong to if it was tagged incorrectly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

I’d prefer that photos geolocate to where they were actually taken, not where they were uploaded. When cell service is poor, the location data can end up being misleading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Hi Brianna, thank you for your feedback! We are glad to hear that geolocated photos are helping you accurately identify your test locations and maintain organized project records.

Regarding your concern about location data: rest assured that Filio records the GPS coordinates at the exact moment the photo is taken, not when it is uploaded. Even in areas with poor or no cell service, the data is stored securely and will automatically sync to the cloud once you are back in range.

If you find the location is misleading, we highly recommend capturing media directly through the Filio Data Collector app rather than importing from your phone’s gallery, as mobile operating systems often remove metadata during the import process.

Please feel free to reach out to us directly at contact@filio.io if you’d like us to take a closer look at a specific project’s coordinates.
