"Streamlines Photo Management for Remote Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I really like the AI tagging feature in Filio because it's incredibly useful for organizing and filtering photos. It's great to be able to just type a tag and automatically filter out relevant images, which makes the whole process faster. Additionally, the plan view feature is really useful. It allows me to know exactly where a photo was taken and in what direction, which is crucial when working remotely. Filio also helps us organize photos based on project numbers, which is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

We work from a different country, not the US, and it's really helpful if we can access the Filio website from other countries as well. Each time, we have to log in using a VPN, and for some reason, it slows down the browsing experience a bit. Another thing that could be improved is the preview feature of photos. Sometimes there will be thousands of photos, and we won't have time to go through all of them one by one as a large image. If there's a way to make thumbnails bigger or review multiple photos at once by scrolling through all of them, that would be very useful. Initially, there was no way for the team to give access to all folders to my email address. They had to do it individually, which could be improved by allowing access to all folders at once to a particular email address. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for jobsite documentation and fast reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

Filio gives us a reliable way to capture and organize jobsite photos/videos with clear timestamps and context, and then turn that into shareable reports. It feels built for construction workflows, not just general file storage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

So far, I have not encountered any significant drawbacks. While occasional connectivity issues in the field are to be expected on job sites, Filio manages offline data capture effectively and synchronizes everything once a connection is restored Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Thanks for taking the time to share this. You made a really important point about generating reports quickly when it matters, especially for risk management and change orders, and that’s exactly the kind of outcome we aim to deliver.

"Effortless Photo Documentation with Filio"
5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I use Filio to document photos from site visits, and I really like how it automatically uploads photos to a server, compared to all of our engineers having them in the camera roll and usually not transferring them into the correct folders. Filio also tags the location where each photo was taken, significantly speeding up our report process and making it much easier to comment on photos and add captions. I especially appreciate the professional reports that are quickly generated with the stamped location on the photos. Additionally, the setup was very easy to learn and get integrated with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

Not sure I have one Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Hi Noah, thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are happy to hear that Filio is helping your engineering team move away from cluttered camera rolls and into a more organized, professional workflow. It’s great to know that the auto-syncing and location-stamped reports are making your life easier and speeding up your reporting process. That is exactly what we aim for.

"Filio: Essential for Field Work with Easy Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I find Filio to be great for working in the field. It makes it easy to translate findings effectively. I love its potential for various applications, especially in construction or reconnaissance. Being able to take pictures on-site and see exactly where they were taken on a map or design plans is extremely useful for continuous progress tracking during construction or after disasters. I especially value the ability to geolocate both photos and videos onto maps or plans. The automatic document and report generation using field information is also really helpful. The initial setup was super easy and straightforward, and there's good documentation to support it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

I think there could be some improvements to integration with other platforms but overall it is an excellent tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Thank you, Taylor! We are thrilled that Filio is proving vital for your disaster reconnaissance and mapping field data directly to design plans. We’ve noted your feedback on platform integrations.

"Streamlined Visual Data Collection, Effortless AI Tagging"
5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I use Filio for taking pictures during fieldwork like surveying and geotechnical drilling. It helps me collect visual data and access it easily, overcoming obstacles of using collected images and streamlining the process of collecting visual data in the field. I like its AI features that automatically tag photos and videos with relevant information, saving me time and effort by helping me find exactly what I need from the images the first time. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

I think integration with a wider range of visual data like 360 video, multispec, and point maps would be interesting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Hi Daniel, thanks for the great review. We are so glad the AI tagging is saving you time during your geotech and surveying projects. We also really value your suggestions for 360 video and multispectral data, expanding our visual data capabilities is definitely on our radar, and feedback like yours helps us prioritize what's next. "Active Photo Logging"
4/5
What do you like best about Filio?

Being able to actively upload pictures and have them immediately pop up for others on the website. How it uploads without having to be on the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

It is a little hard to edit the name of pictures once you add them, and potentially the organization of large quantities of pictures all at once when using the website. Another feature that would be nice to add is an option to save the selections on the pictures in a project, so that if another report with some changes need to me made, than someone doesn't need to go back and remake the selections they did before in a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Hi! Thank you for your feedback! We are thrilled that you are enjoying the real-time photo logging and the convenience of background uploads for your project progress tracking.

Regarding your suggestions, we actually have a few features designed to solve those exact challenges:

1. Edit the name of pictures: To avoid the hassle of editing names manually, you can use our Media Naming Rule feature. This allows you to customize a naming pattern for the entire project so every photo captured follows the same format automatically. Link here: https://www.filio.io/academy/how-to-change-image-naming-rules-in-a-filio-project/

2. Saving Report Selections: You don't have to start from scratch. With our Report History feature, Filio saves a copy of every report created for a project. You can easily edit or make a copy of a previous report to make changes without re-selecting all your photos. Link here: https://www.filio.io/academy/what-is-report-history-and-how-to-access-it-in-the-filio-web-app/

Let us know if you have any other questions. Feel free to reach out to us at contact@filio.io if you would like a quick walkthrough of these features to help optimize your workflow.

"Helpful for Tracking Jobsite Progress and Photo Documentation"
5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

As a project manager/event organizer, I use Filio to organize photos for different projects. It’s helpful to keep all photos in one place instead of scattered across phones or folders. It makes it easy to find photos later and document project progress. I also like that the office team can see photos in real time, which helps with communication between the field and the office. Features like timestamps and tracking who took the photos are very useful for project documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

So far, my experience with Filio has been positive. I haven’t run into any major issues using the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Thank you for the feedback! We are glad Filio is helping your team move away from scattered folders and toward a centralized photo documentation system. It’s great to hear that the real-time visibility between the field and office is making your project communication more efficient.

"Effortless Documentation Tool with Fast Field Capabilities"

What do you like best about Filio?

I used Filio to document earthquake damage on infrastructure and I could easily pinpoint the location of photos and add captions. I really like how easy it is to use. The voice-to-text feature is really useful; I could take a photo, describe the damage, and move on to the next site immediately. It helps me describe the damage really fast. The initial setup was pretty straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

I had some problems when I had to add people to my project. I think I had to use my Filio desktop to add people, and couldn't add them by using the app on my phone. It would be great if I could add them from the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Thank you for sharing your experience! We are proud that Filio’s voice-to-text and pinpoint GPS features supported your critical infrastructure work. Regarding adding users on the app, you can actually do this within the app by selecting 'Open in Web.' This will securely direct you to your web account, allowing you to add team members to your project seamlessly while in the field.

"Effortless Inspections, Consistently Improving"
5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I like that Filio is really simple to use. It's something that anybody can use, and the end product is wonderful with little interaction needed. The program is very easy to set up, not complicated at all, and it helps me produce detailed reports by just taking a picture and having everything organized. I also appreciate how efficient Filio is, making it excellent for my needs. I would rate it a 10, as it's simple, excellent, and very efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

I'm still learning about editing features, like putting notes on reports. It might be more of my challenge rather than the program itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

"User-Friendly with Seamless Mobile and Web Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Filio?

I like that Filio makes site visits easier by letting me record features and properties of sites with precise location and angle details. I appreciate knowing the exact orientation of my photos and seeing how they all fit together to represent the site. It's great that I can add my own notes, manage different projects, and keep everything organized. I find Filio very user-friendly; it didn't take long to figure out how to use it and take advantage of its many features. It's also super convenient that there's a mobile app for on-the-go access, while still being able to access data on the web. The initial setup was so easy as well. I was able to export data from Filio to make a project poster, which was super useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filio?

Lots of different subfolders, which sometimes took a few seconds to navigate. But good because everything can be well organized! Not sure that I see a fix for this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from June Zheng of Filio

Thanks for the thoughtful review. We are glad Filio is helping make site visits and field documentation easier by capturing photos with location, orientation, and notes so everything stays organized by project. Our goal is to make construction photo documentation and jobsite records easy to capture in the mobile app and accessible from the web so teams can review and export project data whenever they need it. We also appreciate your feedback on folder navigation as we continue improving Filio’s construction photo management experience.
