"Decent tooling for facilitating uploads"
3/5
What do you like best about Filestack?

We make use of Filestack for uploading files to S3 for some of our internal tooling. It's pretty plug-and-play. The developer documentation is pretty decent and certain feature requirements (controlling for upload size) are easy to apply. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filestack?

Ideally, Filestack would provide some better solution for managing multiple types of environments. Predecessors to my team had things configured so that one of our qa environments used the production account, because the non-production Filestack account was non-paid and thus did not have the capability to upload to S3. It took us a decent amount of time to track this down.

The admin interface is also a bit clunky in some regards. There's something that seems slightly forced about requiring selection of a plan/app for certain activities, although to be fair it's been some time since I've needed to go in there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Filestack is a super nice service"
4/5
What do you like best about Filestack?

Its super easy to integrate and there are a lot of options for the clients to upload documents.

Its also really nice that you can format and work the images when you upload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filestack?

There seems to be some issues some times with the S3 integration where the files are not public and the users therefore cant access them. Not sure what causes it and its maybe like every 20.000 file for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great UI"
4/5

We've been using FileStack as part of our dedicated press kit system for several years and it's been good. I would say the best thing is the UI and ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A bit pricy for our needs cause we use it for pretty basic stuff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great solution for our canvas printing business!"
5/5
What do you like best about Filestack?

We had our developer use Filestack to create custom sizing for our gallery wrapped canvas business. This allowed customers to select from various sizes and to upload the photo they were having made into a canvas. It worked great for us and we loved using Filestack! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filestack?

I can't think of any downsides to Filestack. For what we were doing it worked out perfect for us and solved the problem we were having with getting customer photos sent to us along with the canvas dimensions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Generally good - some teething issues"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Filestack?

Seemless integration. Users can upload the files they need and it uploads them in chunks. Prior to filestack, we use to get a lot of failures when using the native html upload facility (recall using a javascript plugin) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Filestack?

Make it very difficult to search for files to delete them from storage. eg I can't perform a query to sort all files by size

and then delete what I need to reduce storage (am on the first plan). This should be part of every plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
