## Filestack Reviews
  ### 1. Product seems to be abandoned

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Filestack?**

The feature set itself used to be good. File uploads as a service, that's all they did and they did it well. Then they added more features, but before those features were finished, they would move on and start other features, and over and over. What is left now is a bunch of half-working features, with their core functionality all muddled up in the middle.

**What do you dislike about Filestack?**

The Dashboard is woeful, and the Documentation is even worse. Pages don't load, required information is mostly missing, and their support is MIA. Expect to wait 10+ days for a response to questions as basic as "How does this API work? Your docs are incomplete.".

**What problems is Filestack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It still only solves the problem of image uploading, but the product is degrading month by month. We will be looking at alternatives.

**Official Response from Carl Cruz:**

> Hi Andrew! Sorry to hear about your experience with Filestack.

We acknowledge there are some things we can do better, especially with how our dashboards work and making clear documentation on some doc pages. Our team is always working to improve and update our platform, making sure that all of our features work well and that our guides are clear and complete.

Your feedback is an essential part of that ongoing improvement. We regret the delayed response times and assure you that we are taking steps to enhance our support services for more timely and efficient communication.

We thank you for your honest feedback and we'll make sure to take everything into consideration to make Filestack even better.

  ### 2. The Service works, but lacks enterprise focus

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Filestack?**

I really like the composable workflows and clean UI.

**What do you dislike about Filestack?**

- Inability to have multiple users and sso on our accoiunt
- Less than helpful support
- Diagnostic tools are lacking

**What problems is Filestack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We dont use filestack for image optimisation. We use it as a file sanitizing service for a customer support flow. It does what it says on the box.

  ### 3. Necessary Evil with Atrocious Customer Service

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam P. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Filestack?**

When it works, it solves a significant problem, and it's the only uploader with built in video recording.

**What do you dislike about Filestack?**

Multiple times they have made breaking changes or degradations without any heads up, and when we reach out to them for help they are dismissive, and slow to respond (days, if at all).

**Recommendations to others considering Filestack:**

If you don't need video recording, go with someone else.

**What problems is Filestack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

they help us allow our users to upload content to the cloud.
