Files-Editor is a browser-based PDF management tool that lets individuals and teams edit, convert, merge, compress, sign, and password-protect documents without installing desktop software. It's built around everyday document tasks rather than a full enterprise document-management workflow: converting files between PDF, Word, and Excel; merging or splitting multi-page documents; compressing files for storage or email; rotating and cropping pages; adding or removing password protection; applying watermarks; and collecting e-signatures on forms and agreements. Each function operates as a focused, self-contained workflow, so users can complete a specific task - like preparing a contract, converting a client deliverable, or securing a sensitive report — without prior training or IT involvement. This makes it a practical fit for freelancers handling client files, HR staff processing onboarding paperwork, students and educators managing coursework documents, accountants organizing financial records, and small business teams handling contracts or proposals. Because there's nothing to install, Files-Editor works entirely in-browser, making it accessible to distributed and remote teams, and to smaller organizations without a dedicated document-management budget. Larger teams sometimes use it alongside existing systems to handle overflow or one-off PDF tasks.
