UPDATE" 2/5 What do you like best about Files.com? Like all other cloud sharing services once you have a TON of data there the company will jack up your pricing to unrealistic prices. We've moved to implementing our own cloud as every single provider has done this to us after a year or two or three (max). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Files.com? Once you go into renewals the folks there are pretty hard to deal with. No breaks, give us more money. I'd shy away from these types of services and pay the money to implement your sharepoint or other internal cloud solutions. Easy to use API for account management. Allows us to quickly provision and de-provision users using nothing more than a script Customer-facing branding options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Files.com? They keep reneging on our contract, charging us for users that are not active or have been deactivated. We have several times had to reach out to get our account credited due to poor billing. API Has changed several times without an announcement. When we reached out about these issues to our account rep, we were told that the API changes were the "intended behavior", even though the documentation did not reflect that. When negotiating the contract, we had to reference everything that was promised to us in writing, as the account manager would often forget the terms of the contract due to not taking notes, or tell us that we were wrong about the details of the contract (even though we had it in writing) New "per seat" account model doesn't work with our use cases Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. They are currently looking into the API issues you outlined above to see how we can do better in the future and to mitigate any technology issues.
