I like that File Viewer Plus displays metadata for every file format I open, so I can see what information is stored in the file, including author information for documents and EXIF data for images. It's a nice program to have whenever I encounter unknown email attachments or files in my Downloads folder. The file browser is also nice since I can quickly locate and preview files. New file formats for audio, video, text and other files are coming up like mushrooms in the wood. Standard software can't read/open them all. There is one solution: With File viewer you can open and/or covert almost all of these different formats and have them converted to your known set of formats. It is very easy to use and to integrate this in your daily work routine. File viewer constantly add new formats to the program and if there is a problem I'd contact customer support. So far I did not come across any features I didn't like; again if I will there will be the customer support team. I'm meanwhile at File Viewer Plus 6 and I would wish to have always a good upgrade price for the next version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This program is phenomenal. Not only do I get to view all my embroidery files, PES, but I can also view all the details about the file when I click on the information line, and I can enlarge or make my pictures small and create different views with it. There is a navigation icon that, when I click on it it will go to all of my downloads plus test documents.

File Viewer Plus is an easy to use file reader. The program can access different formats from previous versions as recent versions. What I like most about this software is that it has a file identifier that searches for information about unknown formats. In addition, it also has a tool to inspect the contents of the files. File Viewer Plus lacks good features to sign, because the signatures that are loaded by the program change size and the images become pixelated.
