Nothing more, nothing less. It works on files and folders, perfect for my little use case of deleting senitive files. **What do you dislike about File Shredder?** It's not maintained anymore, which is a pity. However, I still like it and use it. The User Interface is a bit old, but as I said, the tool is no longer maintained (since 2012). **What problems is File Shredder solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it to delete files and folders from my work laptop. After finishing a project/event, I need to make sure that none of these files are on the demo laptop I use (clean device for the next project/event). ### 2. I was unsure about using a third party solution for disposing of sensitive documents, but after using Fileshredder I am much more at ease. **What do you dislike about File Shredder?** I would say the only thing I dislike is having to operate solely in the web browser contrary to having a desktop app or some other kind of medium to send the files through to be shredded. **What problems is File Shredder solving and how is that benefiting you?** File Shredder is providing a safe and effective way to dispose of digital information without having to pay a large fee or purchase a suite of software that specializes in disposing of documents. ### 4. They could be brought back to my computer if hackers wanted to really try. **What do you dislike about File Shredder?** The software seems very outdated and simplistic and it is a basic installation so I get kind of worried that the software really isn't that modern. **What problems is File Shredder solving and how is that benefiting you?** We create several hundred files a day and delete them as well. This software is a fail-safe to fully eliminate any security based and unnecessary files that we do not need anymore and fully delete them out of existence. ### 5.
