## About figshare
Figshare is a web-based interface designed for academic research data management and research data dissemination. It accepts all file types (with in-browser viewing). Figshare was originally created as a solution to keep research outputs in one tidy place whilst allowing it to be discovered by like minded individuals: the academic community. It quickly became apparent that others sought such a resource and Figshare opened its doors. Figshare enables academics to upload, share, cite and importantly discover all manner of research outputs with the security of knowing our hosting options and platform support long term preservation of data. Along the way, we have developed offerings not just for the individual (figshare.com) but for publishers and institutions (research universities, colleges, non-profits, biotech/pharma, government agencies, etc.) with industry standards and best practice at our core.

**What do you like best about figshare?**

figshare is online open storage service which allow you to update and share your data. It is completely free to upload data and free to access the same.

**What do you dislike about figshare?**

I do not have any dislike for figshare as of now.

**Recommendations to others considering figshare:**

If you do research on your experty it is better to have figshare account.

**What problems is figshare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides to share and explore your research over the world wide.

**What do you like best about figshare?**

Figshare lets me store and publish research data pretty easily. 

**What do you dislike about figshare?**

The process of uploading files to a new project could be simplified. Viewing files is also cumbers. Currently, figshare only works as a place for me to publish, not work on my materials. I want to be able to collaborate with other researchers. 

**Recommendations to others considering figshare:**

Look at other people's projects on figshare to get a sense of how they use it.

**What problems is figshare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figshare contributes to the growing need for sharing and open materials in the sciences. I think it's valuable for students, researchers, and organizations to use software like figshare.
