"Effortless, Feature-Rich UI/UX Design with Seamless Real-Time Collaboration"

5/5

What do you like best about Figma?

What I love most about Figma is how effortless it feels to use, even for complex UI/UX and prototyping work. The learning curve is minimal, so you can go from idea to high-fidelity designs quickly without wrestling with the tool.

As someone who uses Figma almost daily, I really appreciate how feature rich it is auto layout, components, variants, prototyping and real-time collaboration all work smoothly together. Implementation is basically instant since it’s browser-based and collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders feels seamless.

Integrations with tools like Jira, Slack and design systems fit naturally into my workflow, which makes handoffs and iterations much faster. Overall, it’s one of those tools that just stays out of the way and lets you focus on designing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Figma?

While Figma is very powerful, performance can sometimes take a hit with extremely large files or highly complex prototypes. Heavy auto layout nesting, large component libraries or lots of variants can occasionally slow things down, especially in long-running files.

Customer support is another area where there’s room for improvement. For common issues, documentation and community resources are helpful, but when it comes to more complex or account level problems, response times can feel slow. Direct support interactions often rely on tickets rather than realtime help, which can be frustrating when something is blocking work.

Additionally, some advanced features aren’t always intuitive for new users, so teams often depend on external tutorials instead of in product guidance. Pricing can also scale up quickly for larger teams, particularly when advanced permissions or organisation level controls are needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Figma solves the problem of fragmented design workflows and poor collaboration between design, product and engineering teams. Instead of juggling multiple tools for wireframes, visual design and prototyping, everything lives in one place.

For me, this means faster iteration cycles, clearer feedback and fewer misunderstandings during handoff. Real-time collaboration reduces back and forth, version control issues are almost nonexistent, and integrations make it easy to plug Figma into the rest of the product development stack. The end result is better design quality delivered in less time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Figma Makes Real-Time Collaboration Fast, Organized, and Effortless - But need some homework done!"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Figma?

What I like best about Figma is..

- How easy it makes collaboration between teams.

- Multiple people can work on the same design at the same time, and you can actually see the changes happening live.

- This really helps reduce heachache and avoids confusion around which version is the latest one.

- Compared to other design tools, this is a big goto feature.

- Another thing I like is that Figma is accessible from browser, meaning no heavy setup required. You can just log in and start working.

- Components, styles, and auto layout features are very useful and help maintain consistency across designs.

- You can configure clicks, link different screens, and even place the whole app flow into a single page. This gives a more clear and spread view of all the pages together, which is very helpful while reviewing user journeys.

- There is also no strict limit on the number of pages you can create, so managing large designs is not a problem.

Overall, it makes the design process faster and more organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Figma?

Things I dislike about Figma is that..

- It can become a bit slow when working on very large files with many components and pages.

- Sometimes there is lag, especially when multiple people are editing at the same time.

- This can be slightly frustrating during peak collaboration.

- Also, for new users, some advanced features are not very easy to discover.

- You need time to explore or rely on tutorials to fully understand things like auto layout or variants.

- Offline usage is also limited, which can be an issue if internet connectivity is not stable.

- Another thing I dislike about Figma is that the initial experience can feel confusing, especially for first-time users.

- When you save a Figma file and share it with someone, opening it for the first time is not very straightforward. Once the page loads, you are presented with a lot of options, and many of them are not self understandable.

- Because there are many panels, tools, and settings on one screen, it becomes hard to immediately navigate to the actual prototype or design flow.

- For someone who is new or still learning the tool, this can feel overwhelming.

- It takes some time to understand where to click and how to focus only on the required pages or prototype. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Figma solves the problem of collaboration, design sharing, and version control in one place.

- Instead of sending files back and forth, everything stays updated in real time.

- Designers, developers, and product teams can all refer to the same source.

- This benefits me by saving time and making reviews easier.

- Feedback, design changes, and prototype checks can be done in one tool, which improves communication and speeds up the overall development process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Real-Time Collaboration with a Clean, Intuitive UI"

4/5

What do you like best about Figma?

What I like most about Figma is how easy it makes collaboration. I can jump into a file with designers, leave comments directly on specific elements, and see updates in real time instead of going back and forth over Slack or static exports. It saves a ton of time every week and makes feedback way more actionable.

The UI is super clean and intuitive, even as a non-designer. I can quickly find what I need, tweak copy in mockups, and navigate files without getting lost. The layer system is simple and not overly nested, which makes a big difference when you’re just trying to move fast and get things done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Figma?

One downside is performance on larger files. When a file gets heavy with lots of components and multiple people working in it, things can start to lag a bit, which slows you down.

Version control can also get messy if there’s no clear structure. With so many people jumping in, it’s easy to lose track of what’s final vs. in progress unless the team is really disciplined about naming and organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Figma mainly solves the disconnect between design and the rest of the team. As a product marketer, I don’t have to wait for static exports or try to interpret designs out of context. I can jump into the file, see exactly what’s being worked on, and give feedback directly where it matters.

That translates into faster turnaround times and fewer back-and-forth cycles. I spend less time clarifying changes and more time actually improving the final output. It also keeps everyone aligned, especially on messaging, since I can validate things early instead of catching issues late in the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Design with Seamless Visual Tools"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Figma?

I really like Figma, especially the MCP feature they've launched. In the age of AI, I'm using Figma with codes to make my designs, which is great. I also find Figma to be user friendly, especially compared to Adobe XD. Once I understood it, I realized it's a user-friendly tool that offers a good user experience. I love using it, and I think it's a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Figma?

I would like to have the AI chat within Figma so that I can just directly give commands to Figma and Figma just designs my frames and my design inside Figma, just like how Cursor is doing that. Also, initially, when I began working with Figma, it really looked tough as compared with Adobe XD. The initial setup was hard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Figma to visualize and design mobile applications, helping developers understand what I want them to build and bringing the app to production efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for Solo Developers and Startups"

5/5

What do you like best about Figma?

I love Figma because it's free and easy to use. As a solo developer, it really helps me prototype UI and UX for new apps, going from idea to concept seamlessly. I appreciate how it offers tools that facilitate quick design work, like placing cards, selecting colors, and getting UI elements from other open Figma projects, which lets me bootstrap my projects at speed. The initial setup was also a piece of cake, making the experience even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Figma?

The play button or the button that lets me view the screenplay of my screens could be better. Most of the times, the screen's layout is messed up and I can see a bulge on the top. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Figma provides a free and easy interface for prototyping UI and UX, allowing me to quickly bring ideas to concepts. It gives me tools to utilize design elements efficiently, speeding up development for my solo projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Figma: The Gold Standard for Collaborative Design"

5/5

What do you like best about Figma?

I love using Figma for everything from wireframe to high-quality designs. It makes collaborating with my team and handing over clean assets and components to developers incredibly easy. The auto-layout and prototyping tools save me hours of manual resizing and tweaking. The prototyping is so intuitive that I can show clients exactly how the app or website feels before any code is written. It's also a lifesaver for organizing design systems that stay consistent across every screen. Plus, the seamless developer handoff makes turning my designs into clean code much faster. I also appreciate that there's no installation required; you just sign up and start designing in the browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Figma?

One minor issue that I feel is that Figma can be laggy and slow when working on huge files with lots of pages. Also, the offline mode is pretty limited, which makes it tough to design when the internet is spotty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Figma simplifies collaboration with live links, saving hours on manual adjustments. Its prototyping tools are intuitive, so I can show clients designs before coding. It also manages design systems well and makes developer handoff for clean code faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Design Tool with Pricing Challenges"

4/5

What do you like best about Figma?

I use Figma as a Product designer for designing and prototyping, which is both intuitive and powerful, always bringing new features for product designers. I also appreciate that it is web-based, allowing me and my team to use it anywhere and anytime. Even stakeholders with no familiarity with FigJam can understand it and use it quickly. The prototyping feature is particularly valuable as I can build interactive prototypes very quickly, with animations and immersion that almost seem like the real product, allowing me to test it with real users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Figma?

Well, the pricing is becoming a problem. Since we work on a team with a lot of product managers, UI designers, developers and stakeholders that want full access to the projects, buying a seat for each one of these people is becoming very expensive. It was a bit confusing until the team figured out how the company’s billing system worked and who would have editor access. Until we cleared up all the doubts, we were very worried about incorrect charges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Figma being web-based allows my team and stakeholders to access it anywhere, and even non-familiar users find FigJam easy to use. I quickly build interactive prototypes that feel real enough for user testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Real-Time Collaboration and Smooth Design-to-Dev Handoff"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Figma?

Figma’s biggest strength is its real-time collaboration. It lets designers, developers, and stakeholders work at the same time in a single file without running into version conflicts. Because it’s browser-based, it’s easy to access from anywhere, and tools like components, design systems, and shared libraries make it simpler to keep consistency across products. The design-to-development handoff also feels very smooth, which helps reduce miscommunication and speeds up implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Figma?

With very large or complex files, performance can occasionally slow down, particularly when many collaborators are active at the same time. I also find that some advanced prototyping and animation capabilities are still limited compared with more specialized tools. In addition, certain useful features are locked behind paid plans, which can be a barrier for smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Figma addresses collaboration and design handoff challenges by centralizing the entire design process in one shared workspace. It reduces version-control headaches and drawn-out feedback cycles by enabling real-time collaboration among designers, developers, and stakeholders. In my experience, this has noticeably cut down on miscommunication, sped up design iterations, and strengthened alignment between design and development. As a result, implementation moves faster, designs stay more consistent, and overall delivery timelines are shorter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
