It genuinely feels like this is the first design tool created by people who actually use it themselves. Everything updates in real time, everything stays in sync, and honestly, it almost seems like the tool can read my mind about 60% of the time. I can jump in, put together some wireframes, build out an entire flow, and share it instantly—no need to export a dozen PDFs or explain to someone that, no, you can’t click the blue button yet. When it comes to collaboration, it’s as if Google Docs and Photoshop had a child, and that child turned out remarkably well-adjusted. What do you dislike about Figma? Some days, it feels like Figma decides to run as if it were made in 1998. When I try to drag a component or scroll through a large prototype, suddenly Figma just gives up and acts sluggish, as if saying, “Nope, I'm tired, figure it out.” And the plugin store? Don’t even get me started. Half of the plugins are fantastic, but the other half seem like they were thrown together during a Taco Bell shift on someone’s phone. As for variant management, it’s great once you finally understand it, but getting to that point is like trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube while someone keeps knocking it out of your hands. One source of truth, no version hell, no “landing-page-final-FINAL-v3b.sketch” nonsense. I collaborate with developers, writers, leadership, even that guy who wanders in and makes “suggestions.” They can all leave comments without derailing the whole thing. And building prototypes is stupid simple—clients see how things actually move, not just stare at a JPEG and pretend to imagine it. These tools allow us to ship our designs faster by giving developers quick access to designs in the IDE itself. I've also been using MCP tools to generate wireframes using Claude. What do you dislike about Figma? i think it is hard to maintain design systems in figma because it is too easy to detach components and override tokens. it also sometimes gets really messy in design files and hard to keep track of what has been shipped and what was de-prioritized Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Figma is solving the problem of fragmented design workflows by bringing creation, collaboration, and feedback into a single, shared environment, and that benefits me by dramatically reducing friction across the product team. Instead of juggling files, tools, and handoffs, I can design in real time with PMs and engineers, get feedback in context, and iterate faster. This is one of the best tools for creative people, because everyone can collaborate on a single page simply by sharing it. What I like about the software is the unlimited space on the artboard, the AI features for editing images, and the additional add-ons that help save time.
