## FigJam Reviews
 ### 1. Good tool for prototyping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chinedu U. | Staff Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Figma is easy to familiarise with. The instructions and guides are clear and concise. You can use it to create a range of prototypes and allows you to customise as much as you want

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

It is pricey. It only allows three free prototypes. However, if you want more, you'll run into issues as the fee can be expensive for a team of designers who create multiple designs.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figma solves the problem of creating digital prototypes and getting them to the hands of testers. With Figma you can design a high fi prototype, host it and have it reviewed by simply sharing the link.

 ### 2. FigJam Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya J. | UI Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is the best designing application which provide free software for editing, designing and so on. In that online software because we can easy design or organised our ideas.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Figjam have limited features compared to some other compititors, and some time its not provide perfect same icons or some other things which is needed in my project or design.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When i need to impress my client with my designing capacity or speed then i used that online software. Client impressed by my design so i loved that software and that is completely free software.

 ### 3. Must have tool for Product teams!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Safety | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is easy to jump into and get value out of, even when unfamiliar with the tool. The entire product team has found value in it for collaboration - from quick brainstorm sessions to workshops.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I wish transferring things from FigJam over to an actual Figma file was easier. I like to have the entire narrative of how a final design came to be within the Figma file; the sessions on FigJam are part of that.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam helps fill the gap between collaborating and working remotely. It allows our team to 'whiteboard' together without being in the same room - and not lose value from doing so.

 ### 4. Exploring FigJam by Figma.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajvi T. | Associate Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam makes it easy for multiple users to work together on the same canvas in real time, regardless of location. This helps the team conduct brainstorming sessions and ideate together for their tasks.
Its intuitive interface helps easily create diagrams, flowcharts, mind maps and other required diagrams.
Also, figmJam provide the integration facility with other Figma products and third-party applications like slack.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

There is nothing to dislike in FigJam but something that I find odd FigJam is cursor chat feature.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam is a valuable tool for my team and me. It allows us to efficiently produce low-fidelity wireframes, develop visual designs, and engage in collaborative ideation on a shared canvas.

 ### 5. Great online planning, designing, and whiteboarding tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

For UX design and team collaboration in a remote work environment, FigJam is an excellent way to design product workflows and collaborate with various team members. The controls are intuitive, and it's easy to track comments and changes.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I don't have any negative comments about FigJam as my experience has been nothing but positive. It's allowed me as a Product Marketer to collaborate effectively with both designers and engineers.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team uses FigJam to both collect and organize data when planning product updates, and we also use it to visually map out user workflows. This lets us demo the experience internally while taking real-time notes that can be shared with the whole team.

It's flexibility in allowing so many team members to come in one place to actively brainstorm while working remotely. Love the variety of templates too!

Not sure! I think the tool options used to be more limited, but I love they've expanded on them.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With remote work hard to have a fun environment for team brainstorming and project kick offs – this does that!

It provides a place to easily explore ideas with coworkers, create user flows, and document what was provided. Then take that information and import it into Figma to start designing

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I don't know if I have anything I really dislike about it or any recent pain points.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whiteboarding, remote collaboration, documentation, problem exploration & solidification.

It saves time, makes sure all parties are involved, and progresses projects.

• set up a thumbnail for Figjam
• more widget

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

• involve nonprofessionals in the collaboration and make it easy for them to understand
• communicate with my product manager easily
• I can just dump all of my thoughts into it and separate them from my design file in Figma

 ### 10. Figjam

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zainab S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Makes it easy to brainstorm an sketch ideas. The options for different tools. Creating multiple sketches and using them in Figma

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Sketching isn't the most seamless because using the Apple Pencil on an iPad is difficult to automatically make lines straight and sketches

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving collaborative design and how it bashed it easy for my team and I to work seamlessly on designs. Makes us more productive

 ### 11. figjam review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Figjam is a great platform for UX and creates the opinion card for the developers, we create diagrams easily as well. Their lots of features are good and perform very well.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Most dislike feature is zoom in and zoom out otherwise all are good also the cursor functionality is not much good, some draws options are also not good I think it's will improve.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am UI/UX developer, it's help to me build the design of the products or sometimes used for the er-diagrams and flow diagrams also use for to take opinion from the developers in the meetings.

 ### 12. Powerful for design, great for intermediate users

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

The amount of powerful features built into the free version is incredible. I'm using Figjam daily, from mockups of new websites to even simple UI designs to send to our engineering team. The ability to prototype a working design is amazing. There are some crazy good add-ons that you can use to extend the program for insane time-saving benefits.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

It feels a bit overwhelming when you open it at first, and sometimes things may behave unexpectedly because you might not realise one of the settings is enabled e.g. clip content for a frame.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had a problem of trying to show someone the visual design that was in my head. By using figjam, and an add-on to download examples of designs, I was able to put together a mockup of a design to collaborate with my team and determine a solution that worked for us. The prototype feature meant I was then able to present our mockups to the CEO acting as a functional website. The presentation was a hit, and we got approval to move forward with the changes.

 ### 13. Operations Lead

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is an amazing tool. I often use it for logic flows for internal decisions as well as the logic flows for product decisions with external clients and partners.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I wish there were two versions, one for product decision making and then a live/simplified version that could be used during meetings for walking through product decisions with less-technology focused people.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam is helping us work through complex product logic with clients. As we make bespoke software solutions, we need to understand the core outcomes that a client is looking to achieve and then we can walk them through multiple ways to optimize the process of achieving those outcomes.

 ### 14. Best Thought/Planning Board Ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Talon R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

It is just super easy to connect all of my thoughts together in a web

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I wish I could connect some of the widgets to dynamic information from a notion database or something like that

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I just need somewhere to start getting ideas onto a canvas and Figjam is easy enought to start getting ideas and also robust enough for a final thesis on ideas

 ### 15. Keeps the team aligned and up to date in an organized format

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nader K. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I enjoy the ability to create different roadmaps that keeps the team aligned and organized during our meetings, makes it very easy to follow along on the progress and what needs to be done.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Maybe some integration with trello or slack perhaps as they are applications we use.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our team together and on the same page for brainstorming ideas for our software and upcoming apps

 ### 16. Very Useful Ideation Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Figjam is a very good tool for ideation, planning, meetings and keeping track of work while designing with figma. My team uses it regularly to plan for events and the stickers, reactions ad widgets are a fun addition.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

It is hard to form mind maps.It is a bit of a hassle to create mindmaps. We need to duplicate existing sticky notes each time or get a new sticky note. That is a thing I dislike.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps my team and I to collaborate and bring about ideas. It is a very useful tool for creating mindmaps and has a lot of templates for great productivity. The stickers are a cute additions.

 ### 17. A Delightful Experience for High-Level Ideation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Allows my team to collaborate on big-picture ideas more freely than if we were using Figma. Allows team members to jot down notes or draw/wireframe using an iPad. Great for creating system diagrams & user flows. Has an element of fun and delight to it (stickers, music, etc).

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

It is sometimes frustrating that I cannot create shapes/etc as freely as I would be able to on Figma. I wish there was a "favourite" function for stickers to easily access my favourites instead of only recents. I would also suggest adding a toggle to disable scaling on stickies.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Given that we are a remote organization, Figjam helps my team kick off projects through whiteboarding exercises that would not be achievable without similar collaboration software. Figjam is also the primary tool used for creating system diagrams and user flows.

 ### 18. Figjam Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivek J. | Senior software developer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I like Figma UI. This is very useful for development. I Like the way and the tree structure of that is very helpful to understand the things and flow of the project.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Now i didn't get any dislike points in Figma. It's very good for the developer.
I always use Figjam to make my UI flow for the customer. And every time that is selected.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have lots of problems solved by using figjam, like how to explain the flow and steps of my project to my customer and developer. So just created figma and send them to understand.

 ### 19. Figjam makes collaboration easier!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Being able to have multiple people at the same time or async work on ideas in one area, quickly and easily is the biggest benefit for our team. There is no barrier of entry and no confusion even if a person is unfamiliar with design products

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I don't dislike anything about Figjam, if i had to choose something i would say that it would be nice to have more preset options to start from, but the community is already so big

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a fully distributed team and Figjam allows us to work on a problem together and create in real time together

 ### 20. Super collaborative workflows!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane O. | Senior 3D Lighting & Motion Graphics Artist at Amazon, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Really love being able to follow along with users and what they're looking at. I also think the comments feature is really useful for pinpointing specific regions on a project.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I would love drawovers to maybe be a bit more intuitively designed. Sometimes it's hard to draw on the media on the board and moving the drawover and media underneath can be tricky.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration as visual workers is the main problem being solved. I think it benefits to be able to zoom in so closely to media and also zoom out/organize info in lots of ways for lots of people.

 ### 21. Versatile and fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** YiYi L. | UX Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is versatile and easy to setup. I used it a lot for team workshops and UXR sessions. The emoticon, sticky and templates are very useful, and it adds a lot of fun to the engagement.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I wish there's a "summon" feature like in mural, if people get lost in the board, we could gather them where the host's cursor is. I also hope it's easier to c/p images to other files, sometimes I still need to download the image. The "copy png" doesn't always work.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A tool for diagraming, team workshops, UXR interactive exercises etc. I like that it's one tool that addresses multiple needs I have and there is no need to learn additional tools.

 ### 22. One of the best real time collaborative tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam seamlessly integrates with Figma, a popular design and prototyping tool. This integration allows users to easily import and export assets between the two platforms, enhancing the design workflow and collaboration between designers and other stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

- Compared to dedicated diagramming or whiteboarding tools, FigJam may have fewer advanced features and capabilities. It focuses more on basic visual collaboration, so users looking for more specialized functionalities may find FigJam lacking in certain areas.

-Has to be kept in a separate file apart from the main design file, Hard to link the two seamlessly

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I primarily use Figjam to solve and collaborate on design related problems for my projects, so anytime we need to deal with multiple stakeholder insights to a given problem, FigJam is used a a good source of truth for a lot of design artifacts

 ### 23. Nice experience, kind of expensive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chai L. | Junior Frontend Engineer I, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is a fluid and easy to use collabarite environment. It is seamless to go from Figma to FigJam and back. The UI is simple and is great for working together.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

It seems kind of expensive. I wish it was just included in a normal Figma subscription

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company needs something easy to use and highly collaborative. Rather than use a separate product it is easy to use FigJam right in Figma.

 ### 24. Great for Brainstorming and Online Whiteboard

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

It's fast, snappy, and easy to setup. It's very easy to share with people who have never used FigJam before because they can open it inside the browser. It's simple that the features and onboarding are not overwhelming.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

They used to have a generous free tier, but now there are more restrictions. There are also several shapes and formatting that you cannot do directly on FigJam.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a platform to share the team's current thinking with a wider audience. It's a virtual whiteboard where an outsider can come in and see everything that the team has been thinking about.

 ### 25. Awesome design/Collaboration platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda S. | Social Media Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Figjam/figma is the best design wireframe/ux site on the internet! I've been using figma for years now. I couldn't be happier with the value they provide! I personally think figma & Canva are much better than Adobe!

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

The only downside to using figjam is it's only accessable from a desktop. I hope one day I'll be able to use it on mobile. Other than that, I have no complaints!

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figjam helps me with designing website wireframes the most. I like using mindmaps to get everything organized in a presentable manner! The whole design process is more enjoyable thabks to figjam!

 ### 26. Best Designed Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshay S. | Module Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

1. FigJam is blank paper, we can draw our visualisation and share with team member.
2. It have many features like sticky notes, photo and many more.
3. It's have stable version, and user friendly interface.
4. It also have voting feature.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

1. Sharing board between users are confusing.
2. Scrolling too much and not got the bottom of board sometime.
3. Template catagorization should be simpler, it is hard to found needed one.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. I created flow chart and class diagram by this.
2. Sharing option is good.
3. I created project specific board.
4. Design prospoed Mobile application UI before actual implementation.

 ### 27. Best tool for Product Managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Figjam is really a very helpful tool to create and visualize flows. It really helps in building and understanding how the flow and wireframes will be. The UI is pretty simple and friendly.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Not much to dislike, everything is perfect. Few places where we can improve is ease of use for users directly on laptop and dont have pen sketchers. Using with mouse is little tough.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to streamline and discuss thoughts and collaborate with all stakeholders. Making a flowchart is really easy and helpful, which erases confusion and bring all in same boat.

 ### 28. FigJam Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Find settings and perform action from the menu.
Use the creation tool in the navbar for creation or correction.
Designers can collaborate online to design anything.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Figjam, when compared to other design tools available in the market, is a basic tool. It is mainly used by those who are starting in design. It should have more features.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to collaborate with other developers. It is easy to use and allows us to create a complex design without a lot of code. It may have fewer features, but hopefully, it will grow in the future.

 ### 29. Intuitive and Insightful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel R. | Graphic Design Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I love the flexibility FigJam provides. I can quickly brainstorm and organize my thoughts without getting confused about how the UI works. The quality of the software is phenomenal, especially considering that it's free.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

There isn't much to list here. I had to learn how to format text within the sticky notes correctly, but that's small potatoes. Maybe FigJam could implement templated stickies, but again that's reaching.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm currently writing a novel and using Figjam to plan it out and keep notes on my world-building. It's not the typical use of Figjam. However I went through several other brainstorming software samples and found them either lacking or too expensive. FigJam allows me to format and visually brainstorm how I like it.

 ### 30. FigJam review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

This is the best designing app for the design and this is easy to use. FigJam allowed us to onboard the product and design team smoothly onto a single interface.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Easy to use but sometimes it's add some minor extra grid features, so it's create some problem to design otherwise all the things are good. The way we share files across FigJam could be better.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam open source and completely free software. It's make designing very easy and it's provide whiteboard to operate the complete flow of the project or design.

 ### 31. Fairly robust collaboration tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam works well for our remote collaboration because it's very flexible and offers a wide variety of tools (shapes, lines, post-its, stickies, etc.) so we can customize the workspace for whatever brainstorming or collaborative activity we need. I also do appreciate the little surprise and delight moments (like high-fives, cute stickers, etc.) that add to the experience. Functionally it works well - updates made by all participants and their location in the document seem to update in real-time without conflicting changes which is more than I can say for many Microsoft products!

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

While snapping to the grid can be helpful, it is sometimes unnecessarily limiting when I need to create something more detailed - I wish I could turn that off and manipulate objects as I wish (if there is a way to do this, I haven't found it yet.)
Also, although the templates can be helpful, I wish that there were some additional tools to save me time in creating page elements. For example, I once used a 'calendar timeline' template, but I wasn't able to manipulate the dates of the timeline without some additional plug-in or something (this may have been something I used from the community - but I definitely was not able to change the timeline dates due to some access issue). Manually rebuilding the timeline to extend it has been TOUGH (especially due to the grid snapping mentioned above). So for templates that you think people use often, to have them offered from Figma instead and have some ability to modify them to the users' exact specifications would be amazing. Maybe the things you see getting downloaded in the community most? You could host those and make them more robust.
Also - do you support guest access? It would be amazing to be able to share a figjam board and let collaborators add to it, even anonymously, without having to create an account. I haven't seen this feature but I'm not sure if that's due to limitations in the tool or because our privacy settings are extreme for our organization.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ever since moving to remote collaboration, it has been harder to conduct collaborative brainstorming sessions like we used to do in person. Allowing everyone the freedom to add ideas and manipulate (group and sort them). That's the most important use case I see for Figjam. And then, it's even better than in person because all of your materials are well documented and preserved (unlike when you do a session in a room and have to take photos of a whiteboard or try to pull down and group a bunch of stickies). The only thing it can't do for us that in person did allow is to let them draw right on the post-its!
It also serves well as a tool for other things we didn't expect like drawing up timelines for our team and mapping out what everyone is working on.

The real-time collaboration, customizable templates, and ease of use make FigJam an absolute game-changer for creative collaboration. With its interface and versatile features, it fosters seamless teamwork, allowing users to ideate, organize, and communicate effectively

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Sometimes its intuitive interface and versatile features, it fosters seamless teamwork, allowing users to ideate, organize, and communicate effectively. absence of offline access and the dependency on an internet connection

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At first it solving the problem of remote collaboration. Its interactive and visual interface encourages creativity and engagement this benefits teams by streamlining the collaboration process, enhancing productivity

 ### 33. The best tool for collaborating with teams!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

The stickies and sections features are great, and Figjam is super user-friendly, which makes collaborating with teams easier than ever, even if teammates haven't used Figjam or Figma previously. Stickers and cursor chat add more personality to our jam sessions as well!

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I would love to see more customizable options, like more sticker sets, or even allowing the community to contribute to the stickers.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figjam is the best solution to a platform that teams can collaborate on. It's a whiteboard where all additions are saved automatically in the file, which makes our work a lot easier.

 ### 34. The most fun and multipurpose tool for brainstorming, workshops and synthesis.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

How quickly it is to add ideas to the space using stickies. The increase in plugins for different tasks and processes. The collaborative aspects and how fun it is.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

The only downsides that come to mind are the limitations regarding font selection or shape creation, etc. If it had a few more capabilities like Figma (with a different editing experience) it'd be versatile enough for pretty much all tasks, rather than having to jump back and forth between Figma and Figjam to do some tasks

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a fully remote and distributed team, so collaboration across distances is the main problem it quickly solves. The other is its potential - I use it to solve literally any problem I encounter - either with a quick brainstorming session or a more thought out workshop.

 ### 35. Great brainstorming place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srijan R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Best place to have a free-flowing discussion on UX of any feature. Very collaborative and fun.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Colour choices of the sticky note and no option to choose custom font size of the text.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A collaborative way of doing brainstorming on UX where Product managers, engineers and designers can discuss together. It increases productivity compared to non-Figjam days.

 ### 36. Figjam help us to collaborate during workshops on UX research or design ops

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sporting Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

What I find most helpfull in Figjam is the widgets/plugins available that can facilitate workshops (photobooth is my favorite we use it as an icebreaker) the great connexion with Figma also is helpful.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Sometimes when we copy/paste desgins from Figma it breakes so we need to screenshot which is not cool. Hide informations can just be done with area I would like to lock informations during voting sessions for example.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Figjam to collaborate even for a presential event it's really pratical for example during a presentation we use it to let others give feedbacks during the presentation.

 ### 37. Great collaborative tool that my team and I use on a daily basis

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam H. | Lead UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

The collaborative nature of the tool is what really helps my team to connect. For the most part, we are all located in different states, but Figjam allows us to connect and collaborate in real time as if we were all sitting in the same conference room with a whiteboard. The features including personalized stickies, voting, and stickers help each user add a personal touch that might not come across in other software of this nature. The community is the other big selling point. There are so many free resources now to start a project or meeting and the library grows every day.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

There is not much to dislike about this product so far except that it is so new, I know that it will be so much better in a year or two when the Figma team has time to add even more features. My biggest gripe would actually be the fact that I want some of these Figjam features available to me in a Figma design file as well!

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First and foremost it solves the problem of connecting a team of people spread across the country. We can work in tandem as if we were sitting right next to each other. Secondarily, it has replaced tools like Lucid and Miro for our team, in that it can (with the aide of community templates) help us to easily create user flows, persona templates, retrospective meetings and much more.

 ### 38. Nice tool to collaboratively create things

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

The way everyone can access and collaborate to make excellent designs, flows, etc

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Sometimes it isn't effortless to connect the boxes when creating a flowchart. This has been improved in each version.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam has helped me get faster when creating new things as a developer. Also, the flows and documentation work very well on the platform, and it is so easier to connect ideas, ask for feedback, etc.

 ### 39. Best Collaborative Design tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gokul N. | Head of Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

It is straightforward to use so that even people from non-designing backgrounds can start with UI/UX Designing. Also allows a team to collaborate with the design formulated.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Some users have mentioned that FigJam lacks certain advanced features found in other whiteboarding tools. More customization options can be provided like custom shapes etc.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows teams to collaborate visually in real-time, making brainstorming, organising ideas, and collaborating on projects easier. The visual nature of FigJam can aid in understanding and communication, particularly for projects that involve design, user experience, or strategic planning.

 ### 40. FigJam is a great collaborative tool for an organization that leverages Figma products

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is relatively beginner friendly. You can easily teach how to get around and use basic functionality. It is great for collaborating with others during a live session but can be equally powerful in an individual setting when leveraged to create beautiful-looking process diagrams and tables. The ability to quickly generate flow charts is most valuable to my team, and we love that we can export the objects to PNG (and other formats) and copy them into a Figma file (not FigJam).

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

For true beginners, moving around is a hassle. A quick help question mark tooltip in the upper or lower corner, with simple instructions on moving, zooming, and adding basic objects to the board, would be helpful for many users and facilitators using FigJam. Additionally, there is no facilitator power to control the timer. The fact that anyone can start, change, or end a timer is risky.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam solves the issue of tedious (and ugly) process flow creation. It also provides a solution for virtual workshopping sessions, which were previously ineffective online. Using FigJam, it is easy to create virtual boards, add live comments and track items using stickies.

 ### 41. Makes collaboration seamless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

When Figma added Figjam, it really took the entire tool to the next level. Before we were always using Miro, and while I loved it, it always slowed down my computer and was hard to switch back and forth from Figma to another tool. Keep it all in one place that's compatible with the design tool you're using is so helpful. It makes collaboration seamless and brainstorming so much easier. It's easy to select a template and get going on a file, especially with cross-functional people. Having an "open session" feature is helpful when we want engineers and PMs to get involved, who may not have regular Figma access. Sharing/inviting collaborators is super easy, and the sticky note feature is the best. And the voting with stickers! It's been integral to design reviews and feedback sessions with 20+ participants.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

The only thing I wish Figjam did was better support Figma components, which may sound weird, but sometimes we do want to jam/make notes on designs itself. I also wish we could use sticky notes in regular Figma files too.

And this is a small UX thing, but it's kind of jarring to have your controls on the bottom when you're so used to them being on the top for Figma. Sometimes it takes me a few seconds to remember how to get back to the mouse tool, for example, because muscle memory brings me to the top.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figjam is solving cross-collaboration issues by presenting with an easy-to-learn and easy-to-use tool. We can get up and running for a session in like 30 seconds, and sharing the link out and inviting participants is seamless. No friction at all. We get better ideas when our brainstorming/collab tool is intuitive.

 ### 42. FigJam is great for getting ideas down

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

It's great for working collaboratively with others. I use it often for creating simple flow charts or for putting together little graphs or diagrams. I like using the little stickers too. I find it to be a great tool to lead workshops with other groups like engineers to learn more about different issues we need to solve.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

A few things could improve it. I wish there were templates for making wireframe screens, like template phones and button/input field/etc components that are easy to drag and drop like some other programs. I also think there's an issue where you copy work over from a Figma file, then make changes to the copy in Figjam, but you have to manually make the changes back to the figma file. I wish it could be linked somehow. It's also really good for design led workshops that are meant to be used by designers later, but I don't think it's got enough technical stuff for engineers, they tend to prefer other programs so we end up having stuff in two places.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a place to work through flows or early ideas, or to annotate and get critiques without messing up my actual Figma file. Often times an engineer will ask me how something should work and i can throw together a quick little flow for them, so it benefits me by allowing me to be a clearer communicator.

 ### 43. Room to grow, but it checks a lot of boxes!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary K. | Lead Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I love how quickly the tool loads and how it doesn't appear to be laggy when others are collaborating. The folks at Figma continue iterating on this product, adding improvements along the way, and I really appreciate that about this tool! I also love that, in order to NOT have to pay for hundreds of seats all the time, they give you the option to collaborate with folks for 24 hours, which is more than what I need for a quick session with stakeholders. It removes any pain points around "seats".

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I wish they had more features around modifying attributes and traits of shapes and fonts (see Miro). It could be neat if they connected with Google Fonts (or similar) to grant access to the full library.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing folks to collaborate quickly and efficiently without worrying about logistics and red tape. It also allows me to create diagrams quicky, or to brain storm and conduct other synthesis from surveys or research we've conducted.

 ### 44. Figjam is an amazing collaboration tool and it's fun to use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

The collaboration it is able to facilitate is awesome. I run a lot of ideation and planning sessions and the timer feature is great, especially because we can brainstorm to relaxing music!! The Lofi beats provided are shockingly good with the timer. The available templates to choose from are easy to modify to suit my team's needs and are really easy to use. Figjam overall is pretty easy to use and I like that I can do a mix of low-fidelity/mid/high-fidelity wireframing with the shape tools and access to my team's component library. I also love the high five feature! My team audibly laughs trying to high five each other and the emotes/reacts are equally as fun.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

It is a little annoying that you can only zoom in to a certain degree, whereas with regular figma you can kinda zoom in a lot more. Makes control for placement a little more difficult. I do a lot of wireframing and did prefer using invision for that but my company switched up to just using Figma for everything. I feel like control of resizing shapes is a little weird because you can only shrink then down to a certain size. I would like more options for border size/radius as well and to be able to select the color of the borders. It would also be nice to have access to basic wireframing components rather than having to search for and download a plugin for access to quick components or make from scratch. Overall it is a pretty effective tool though and the collaboration it can facilitate is awesome.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asynchronous communication/collaboration for design planning/project planning, and ideation! Discovery is my favorite part of the design process and I do almost all of it in Figjam. One central location to store all the thought behind what lead up to the design decisions I make in high-fidelity through Figma.

 ### 45. Really creative tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

All the things it allows you to do.
That it is a tool with many possibilities, innovative and intuitive

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

In principle, nothing. I have nothing to highlight

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to do dynamic webinar activities.
Organize the team and better manage group activities.
Encourages creativity and order.
It is very comfortable and intuitive and allows everyone to understand it quickly

 ### 46. A great tool for all types of users and use cases

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

I love that FigJam makes collaboration easy, engaging, and fun for users of all technical capabilities. I also love that my teammates who aren't designers or otherwise familiar with Figma have started to adopt it in their own workflows!

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I think having some more visual options "out of the box" could be nice, making it easier to create a file that looks super customized, visually exciting, and aligned with our brand ID.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FigJam makes collaboration really easy when conducting remote whiteboarding sessions, and allows our team to visually document and easily share useful information.

 ### 47. Great experience in using FigJam, especially the plugins!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is powerful in having various plug-ins! I love Figma's idea of plug-ins, it enables sooo many great and powerful features in a straightforward and organized way.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

I don't like the actionable area at the bottom of the page because it is different from the layout in Figma. I just feel it is not the most intuitive and straightforward place I will go to.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I usually use FigJam to do the user research analysis, like taking interview notes, do the affinity wall. I also use FigJam to have a group discussion, and group things together or apart.

 ### 48. Great product for designers and product folks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

Extremely easy to create designs and prototypes. Also, it has become easy to collaborate with team members to create and share designs with each other, There is continuous development on the product,

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

Nothing much that I dislike - Maybe the navigation can be made simpler and easier to access. Sometimes, it becomes difficult to access different options available in the product.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create diagrams and flow charts to brainstorm and discuss with various team members and external stakeholders with whom we work with on a continuous basis. It save a lot of time.

 ### 49. FigJam is Versatile for Teams

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about FigJam?**

FigJam is Versatile for Teams. We have used it for a small team that has designers, developers, and content team members.

**What do you dislike about FigJam?**

If you aren't a designer, it can be hard to learn.

**What problems is FigJam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a small team where each person plays a separate role (design, development, content, etc.) We need one place to collaborate and design. FigJam is a good solution for us in that way.
