This type of experience is surprisingly tricky to get "right." The objects in the interface respond and move across the screen naturally. For people who aren't designers or haven't used Figma before, there is a low barrier of entry. The necessary tools are in one spot, ready to use. For those who want to get a little deeper into the app, there are surprises and elements of delight waiting to be discovered. It is an enjoyable way to brainstorm together. It would be nice if FigJam were a bit more separate from Figma designs. Sometimes it isn't helpful for people to naturally go from FigJam to wandering around design files. FigJam makes creating diagrams and flowcharts very easy! In my job, I often need visual aids to explain technical systems, and I need to create those aids more or less on the fly. My only complaints about FigJam are very small, the biggest of which is that I wish it were simpler to create multiple wire attachment points on one side of a shape, using a snap-to-grid alignment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about FigJam? Eventhough I love the tool there are some things I don't like or that I think could be improved. My highest pain points would be the 24 hour session for non registerd users... This is truly nongood when trying to do sessions with people and I've to be constantly opening the file for 24 hours. Ahother thing I'd like Figjam to have is the ability of hide postits content until the author want to reveal the content. That would be amazing for Retrospective sessions. Another thing that pisses me of a lot is the connections beheabour... Is not inteligent... it does'nt adapt as it should... the starting point of a connection from a box should change if I move the connected box so the path is the shortest. My only dislike with FigJam is the way that the pricing and plan types for users are broken into different categories (design and prototyping vs. whiteboarding) - as a marketing agency we utilize both and it's confusing. For me being a designer, it made the collaboration with team members much more accessible and efficient. The high is a real-time collaboration with the team this helps in remote working irrespective of the location which helps in work together quickly iterate. The best part about FigJam is the same as any other product by Figma, the collaboration tool. Collaboration is very helpful and easy to use, even for a new user. Anyone can get in there and start using it. It's pretty intuitive and we use it all the time across many teams to collaborate, brainstorm, plan, whiteboard, etc. We also switched to using FigJam for all team retros in the company. All the templates, timer, stickers, music, and more make FigJam fun to use - but not in a way that distracts from the work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about FigJam? I don't dislike the tool at all. I will say one pain point we ran into is that there currently isn't a way to use stickies while maintaining anonymity. Anyone can go click an icon to toggle the original authors name off and on to see who said it – not ideal for retros BUT our account rep taught us to switch to shapes and we no longer have this problem. Would be nice to have a retro setting on a FigJam that would preserve the psychological safety of team members. We feel extremely supported by our awesome account rep. We were able to consolidate and say this is the true, approved tool across the company. It's helped teams align and ensure access across the company via single sign on.
