I like being able to edit forms to fit a project’s needs, and there are plenty of options to create the exact form you’re looking for. What do you dislike about Fieldwire by Hilti? The selection area for choosing a markup is too large, which makes it difficult to edit markups in the field. I like Fieldwire by Hilti for its ability to consolidate job files and markup plans. I also appreciate its feature that allows digital changes to survive paper plans, making it practical for construction projects. The ability to quickly access files in the field and to communicate and send files to subcontractors efficiently is really helpful. Additionally, the initial setup process was easy, which adds to its usability. I find Fieldwire by Hilti absolutely brilliant for taking photos of the project and managing things as you proceed. I appreciate the ability to share information very easily, allowing everyone to update as needed. It's a very useful tool and I've been using it for years. I wish there were more icons available or the option to import your own. It's a little bit expensive. The most effective feature of Fieldwire is just the plan management. Being able to access the most current documents on my phone is a must and it’s easy with Fieldwire. The most frustrating thing about Fieldwire is that if someone on my team adds an outside user, using the good-sense logic that it would be helpful for their trade contractors to have access to the plans, it automatically begins charging our account for a new user, without any kind of notice to the employee who added the new user. My field guys don’t know who has accounts and who doesn’t, so if they try to add someone who doesn’t have an account, it would be really nice if Fieldwire would give them a confirmation notice that says tells them that we will be charged if they add that user.
