"Seamless Device Monitoring with Robust Security"

What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?

I like the agent protection policy and balanced response protection of Field Effect MDR. The fact that it does not allow users to uninstall Field Effect is a great feature. I really appreciate how the balanced response policy takes automated actions if any suspicious activity is detected. The initial setup was easy, and I'm very satisfied with the switch from SentinelOne as Field Effect MDR goes beyond just being an EDR tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?

I think it could be improved by bringing the hashes tab to the blocklist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup and User-Friendly Interface for All Team Members"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?

I think it's the way it's laid out that even some less technical team members can look at the AROS and understand what's going on, and the remediation steps to resolve an alert. It's also simple to get up and running, with the installer scripts we push it out via our RMM tool, and we see the devices in the portal very quickly. It was no trouble getting the team up and running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?

There is nothing that immediately stands out as a dislike. Their team has been great supporting us if we ever run into an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Beginner Friendly Product with Easy Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?

What's most helpful in my eyes about field effect is ARO's and how easily they are broken down in order for beginner technicians to use and resolve on an MSP standpoint. Some of the key factors to field effect is: Theoir threat Detection, 24/7 monitoring, scalability, customer support, how easy it is to integrate into many MSP platforms for auto rollouts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?

Some things are not clear to use for field effect even after doing some training. As well some layouts for the ARO's seem congested. I cant really say much else, except for these. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Support and Comprehensive Security"
5/5
What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?

I really like the support from Field Effect MDR. Their staff is easy to contact, always providing answers that are clear and helpful. Whenever I’ve had questions and reached out via email, they’ve not only answered my questions but also follow up and offer future support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?

I think there could be more client facing documentation provided. While I do like their documentation for internal use there isn't as much as I would like for documentation to show clients or the documentation can be vague in some cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Deployment with Robust 24/7 Monitoring"
5/5
What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?

I like the support; they have a very diligent response team. Having Field Effect MDR provides a support team to secure our clients, which is very valuable since my MSP doesn't have a dedicated security team. I found the initial setup to be very easy, and it's very easy to deploy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?

Probably, the reporting. If we can make the reporting flexible, there are no flexibility as of now in terms of report generation. Integration to reporting tool can be improved as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightning-Fast Threat Detection with Unmatched Accuracy"
5/5
What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?

Field Effect’s MDR is powered by the same intelligence and research that supports their broader cybersecurity platform. This means:

Faster identification of emerging threats

More accurate detections with fewer false positives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?

Alert volume sometimes overwhelms small teams

Several users report that the number of alerts (ARO — Actions/Recommendations/Observations) generated can be very high, which makes it difficult to keep up unless you have a dedicated resource for triage Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Ease of Use and Integrations with Outstanding Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?

The overall ease of use, excellent integrations with both Microsoft and Google, strong support from their SOC, and day to day ease of use is beyond any other MDR solutions i've used. They're also excellent partners with our team, continually providing access to their roadmap and allowing us to weigh in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?

Very little I can identify at this time, they are significantly better than anyone else i've demoed or used on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable protection without the headaches"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Field Effect MDR?

I like that it does exactly what clients expect from MDR. It picks up threats early, responds fast, and the reports are clear enough that clients actually understand what’s going on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Field Effect MDR?

I’d say the only thing I dislike is that sometimes the explanations can get a bit technical for clients, so we end up having to simplify it for them. Other than that, it’s solid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
