I find Fidelity Private Shares incredibly functional and easy to use.. The ability to store information and share it with the investor base is very important. I also appreciate the ability to issue stock option grants and restricted stock grants electronically, which is very, very valuable. Additionally, having all the information I need about our cap table readily available at my fingertips is robust. I also love being able to automatically upload quarterly investor reports into the system and issue them to our shareholders. I find Fidelity Private Shares extremely helpful for cap table management. It's the first online platform that has accurately captured our cap table, and I'm very excited about this. I really appreciate the accurate shareholder information it provides. The onboarding team was exceptional, and I'm extremely pleased with their service. The initial setup was extremely easy and it leveraged my time very well, making the process efficient. They were amazing and helped us tremendously. Their knowledge made it so easy to onboard and get everything organized. The team really held our hand through every step of the process, guiding us effectively. The platform is also far more robust compared to the previous tool we used, with links to every single document, enabling us to close deals quickly. One of the things I find a bit lacking is the modeling tools for scenario analysis. They do have modeling tools, but from my understanding, it's more useful once you have a deal firmed up and know what your planned offer is, rather than being used for exploring different scenario analyses. The workflows allow for convenient template creation along with features like e-signature and board notifications, which really enhance my experience. Everything about it works well for me. Some workflows are sticky and can't be discarded, like grants. Sometimes, even if someone has signed, they should be allowed to undo their signature if there is mutual agreement that the grant needs to be edited or modified. I have been a Fidelity Investment customer for sometime. When I launched my startup I was excited to find out that Fidelity offered a Private-Shares investment program for startup companies. I really appreciated how intuitive Fidelity Private Shares was to use. The support team stood out, they were incredibly responsive and patient with me as I learned the ropes. I always felt like there was a strong system backing the platform, and the team made me feel comfortable asking questions, no matter how small. For those already familiar with Fidelity, the integration with personal investments and the ability to manage everything together in one place has been especially valuable. I joined right as Fidelity was completing its acquisition of Shoobx, so the timing meant the team was still stabilizing and scaling. Even so, I found them to be extremely collaborative, open to feedback, and very willing to work with me through nuanced needs. Their willingness to tailor solutions and their patience through that transition period turned what could have been a challenge into a very positive experience. Placing orders and navigating my way around is totally simple. Sometimes I use it a few times a week; other times I might not use it but once or twice a month.
